  1. @Fuppylodderssorry for my post, it came across harshly. You’re absolutely right - you’ve been very level headed and not argumentative, I was wrong, you were just countering points. I think it is definitely wise for us all to drop it. As we clearly disagree lol. Not sure how long you’ve been in the thread, but it’s been suggested by many before about it could be microscale. Including a number of trolls who got the thread locked (well, one troll with alts actually). So I think that’s why we’re so wanting to say “NO YOURE WRONG” in the way we have been lol - to put it to bed. It also gets tedious making the Same points haha. Thats also why you’ll see some of us memeing about it lol, it’s not personal, just an inside joke if you will. I think the reason we’re happy to make that assumption that it won’t be microscale without absolute concrete evidence because if it is microscale, few of us will buy it anyway? so we would no longer care about the set really! Anyway, happy we can end the debate now lol.
  2. Looking at Amazon UK reviews, which is often a decent indicator of obviously not a perfect one: Hagrid’s Hut: 1222 reviews Knight Bus: 2663 reviews Clock Tower: 1328 reviews Hungarian Horntail: 762 reviews Beauxbatons Carriage: 540 reviews Rise of Voldemort: 1095 reviews Expecto Patronum: 1050 reviews So I strongly disagree... it looks like it’s the best selling set. And I can see why as it’s probably the most iconic for people who aren’t massive HP fans. Of course, it’s not a perfect indication but is certainly a decent one. Exactly the same result on Amazon DE, FR, and probably more I didn’t look at (although the numbers are suspiciously similar so I guess some of them are shared between countries). Roughly double the reviews of the others. Also one of the first predictive results when searching “Lego Harry Potter”. ——— @sebastian666 well said. There’s nothing wrong with providing counter arguments but it gets extremely tiresome when it’s clearly a wrong argument. At this rate the thread will get locked for the millionth time. @Fuppylodders please, you just need to let it go. It’s okay to agree to disagree. You don’t need to blindly argue your case without thinking it through. If we’re all wrong and you’re right, then we’ll all owe you an apology (although maybe not as again, we’re entitled to an opinion). But it’s getting tedious you arguing back at everything someone says that disagrees with you. The set would also suck and probably barely any of us would buy it but hey ho.
  3. I’m not 100% convinced. Why would Hogwarts Express be staying but Great Hall be going?
  4. Now THAT would be worth $400.
  5. Diagon Alley is macroscale maybe?
  6. It would also not fit with either the microscale sets OR the minifig scale sets...
  7. Just like Lego cats are half the height of Lego minifigures? Microscale is not a fixed scale. Lego is never to scale. However you can safely say that microscale is too small for a $400 Diagon Alley.
  8. And I was worried about Whomping Willow... looks like I’ve got Beauxbatons Carriage and Knight Bus to worry about too!
  9. Fair enough! I wasn’t trying to be rude. Just saying - don’t feel you have to look at leaks! I feel, for me, knowing the existence of it has gotten me excited enough at this point, and seeing images along the way is either gonna lead to disappointment in the end or lead to the same amount of excitement if I just see the set when it’s announced. Tbh I’d probably have been more Interested in leaks if KNN’s hints hadn’t gotten so silly.
  10. Maybe they’ll throw us all off by having micro scale shops with mini figures to go in them
  11. Uh based on the last 300+ pages of discussion I think we knew this already... People will buy the set and build the minifigures and still think it’s micro scale.
  12. I still don’t understand people’s big issue with Borgin and Burke’s. I get that people feel it takes up a slot and could be a standalone, but if it is included, it clearly was never gonna be a standalone. But what you’re saying makes no sense to me - just put it on another shelf if it bothers you that much. It might not be in DA but it’s at least near it. Plus it’s not like locations in the Hogwarts sets have any sort of continuity with the films/books. I see no issue and it’s an awesome shop that would be a waste not to get. Just don’t look at the leaks then... no one is forcing you to! If you think that it’s better seeing it officially for the first time, why are you paying attention to leaks at all?
  13. Yay! I would rather B&B over no B&B at all.
  14. Guessing from Amazon on their offer? me too. It’s a really cool set with super interesting techniques to build it and tons of interior detail. A bit of a rip off for a £50 set though IMO.
  15. AshnFlash’s video will tell you that. Essentially, no lol
  16. It’s okay you’ll probably get them by, I dunno, 2023 at the latest.
  17. At least it’s some sort of explanation, unlike a certain someone :P
  18. You might not do, but I’m sure a lot of kids who then get into Harry Potter, or just people who couldn’t get it the first time around, will! It’s no different to Star Wars rereleases. Usually they try and make them a bit different too. As much as I’d love them to make everything there is to make first, I think rereleases aren’t unlikely. It would also be nice to all of our wallets if we have less to buy in a given year, but if it’s an evergreen theme it’s possible they wouldn’t have to miss stuff out!
  19. Ooh a giant squid would be so cool! Like this one: https://brickset.com/sets/7775-1/Aquabase-Invasion inb4 it exists but is literally 7 Harry Potters
  20. Hopefully I’ll be able to collect all the Series 1 CMFs before Series 2 comes out. I just bought Luna on eBay for a good price (basically the max price I’d pay, £7.50, but with an extra Voldemort and Jacob Kowalski on top!) which I’m very glad about as I was getting worried about Luna as she’s becoming increasingly rare and expensive it seems. Just Harry, Hermione and Moody to go! Also bought the Harry’s Journey polybag the other day - what a lovely little build! I’m definitely gonna try and get as many of Series 2 as I can while it’s still on shelves. But I’m excited for them as I’ve come to love minifigs.
  21. From 1414FalconFan: reminding us that the Harry Potter CMF series 1 was revealed on the last Wednesday in June 2018...
  22. I remember getting a bit sick of getting four flags in the past one... imagine if the obligatory meh/repetitive advent calendar gift was minifigures ?
  23. You could use him as a Hagrid? ?
  24. I think the advent calendar has now been officially revealed via the Danish Lego catalogue (as in, not leaked any more). Doesn’t tell us anything new I don’t think. http://www.brickfinder.net/2020/06/18/lego-2hy-catalogues-now-available-download/
