  1. Very nice Andeh, I especially like your Dalek Supreme. What piece is connecting the eyepiece to the dome though? I recently revised my Dalek eye design after finally finding a very obvious way to attach the "cone + transparent round" figuration that is more popular with Dalek builders. It was very obvious in retrospect. I love your yellow Doctor, neat hairpiece. I think the face underneath is suitable, but there could be better out there. Your Cybermen have perfect torsos, but I'm not sold on the head design which doesn't really strike me. I'm pretty happy with my configuration, which, though bulky, I think works very well. That said your Cybermat is awesome. And adorable. Batbrick Away!
  2. Great little spy craft Darthblane, being absolutely horrible at building psacecraft I become very jealous when someone can make a masterpiece like this in just a couple of hours. IO especially love how the smooth front portion turns to a complex engine part in the rear, though I think it is elongated just a little too much. Batbrick Away!

    MOC: Jeep

Cute little jeep Apollo, I like the little details altered such as raised panels at the back and trans windshield. The white colour scheme is a little bit simple for me, I think one of the front tiles should have an icon displayed or something. Batbrick Away!
  4. Fantastic creation darkblane, I am in awe of this! The colour scheme while simple works extremely well, and I think the blockiness actually makes it look really nice, it isn't too smooth nor to chunky. The power functions are great additions, particularly the opening cockpit which I just think is superbly done. That said, I think some angles on the ship don't look nearlyu as nice as others, but I can't really lay proper fault on design since the power functions certainly take up room, and they are worth keeping. Stunning job for a first AFOL spacecraft. Batbrick Away!
  5. Very neat job on the elephant timura, I really didn't expect that despite the title and I've never really seen someone put armour on the Lego elephant before. Very cleverly done, though I'm not a huge fan of the colour scheme. The assembly of the other figs and wall is just icing on the cake that really sets the scene. I think there needs to be a bit more landscape, but the elephant and gear themselves already make this an awesome creation in my book. Batbrick Away!
  6. Err....He's not saying Avatar: The Last Airbender is anime, he's saying that it isn't true that Japanese and to a greater extent Asian media and texts are not very popular with Western audiences, since anime among other examples is actually immensely popular, and its fanbase is still growing. Besides, Avatar while not an anime technically, it is still inspired by several anime conventions, such as the obvious (exaggerated reactions in places, but not in a Looney Toons way) and the more subtle (character design, especially that of race, is a lot subtler than Western design which is more distinct). Batbrick Away! EDIT: Aanchir beat me to it.
  7. The Crucible in my English class, quite interesting actually. I understand Miller took liberties with the actual facts, but I have no problem with this example since it is meant as an allegory to McCarthyism. I won't watch it again though, the sheer anti-logic displayed in the film, which actual past, still makes me angry, especially as a Christian is hard to watch how hypocritical things can get in history. Batbrick Away!
  8. I had lost interest in this film recently, but with all this good word and reviews about it my interest is peaked again. Likely I'll end up seeing it in cinemas. Batbrick Away!
  9. Brilliant use of the bionicle piece Hound Knight! It works so well I only noticed it from KielDaMan's comment The use of icecream pieces for strafing fire is so clever I'm becoming jealous that I don't have any myself. And the Fokker Triplane is wonderful, a great mix of faithfulness and a little artistic license for a truly great moc! Though mind oyu, at that angle he's going to crash rather nastily He was also clever, and mostly engaged stray airfcraft rather than leaping into the middle of battle. Batbrick Away!

    Uniball

Veru unique, and neat looking too evildead! The use of green oddly works really well, and despite the bizarre look it comes across as quite believable. Excellent use of the Indiana Jones boulder! Batbrick Away!
  11. QQS, this is one of the more original, funny and great designs I've seen recently. The stark contrast of innocent Belville with outrageous armed-to-the-teeth mecha is ingenious, and the execution is just as hilarious and awesome. Batbrick Away!
  12. I don't often visit this forum Lolas, but you're creation here makes me regret that! The cracks and generally destroyed aspects of the building a wonderfully done, a successful accomplishment of the "good looking dilapidated" effect, which is harder to achieve than most think. The surrounding general landscapes, rocks and broken entrance really sell the look Batbrick Away!
  13. Brilliant redesign of the Tumbler there, and a major kudos to Artifex as well for such a brilliant design. Your little modifications and their's really makes the TLG one seem far more ugly! Batbrick Away!
  14. Pellaeon, I will now worship you for posting this Seriously, this is just as awesome as blueandwhite's version, which I am also supremely jealous of. The back in particular is lovely, good studless work and a faithful adaptation of the rear boosters. And the slightly metallic silver along the front really lifts it. Not a fault that I can spot! Batbrick Away!
  15. Fantastic creation Oky! I love the way you've done the four elements, utterly inspired! Especially for water, I imagine that was tricky to think of. Visually the rocks look the best though. Congratulations on adapting one of my favourite scenes from the show so well! I'm not a fan of how Aang looks honestly, mostly the face, but Ozai is brilliant, I can't think of a better face choice. My only criticism is how small the pillars are. I understand they would be hard to make without getting in the way, butI still think if they were a bit taller the moc would look a lot more visually appealing. Batbrick Away!
  16. Fantastic review Rufus. I love the series of Creator houses, but the recent ones, while great, haven't captured my interest, mainly because of the window and door colours as well as that of the main bricks. With that said, while I won't be buying this one for the same reasons, I really do like the look of it. The white and red, and blue overhang works nicely, and the garden additions such as the barbeque and lay-back chair are quite neat ones I'll have to steal. Batbrick Away!
  17. Actually, Shyamalan did have a huge control over casting, particular over the choices of Aang, Katara and Sokka. But I do agree with you, and while i have no doubt in my mind at all that this film is awful, from critics, trusted ones, online trusted sources and friends, and do lay a large amount of blame on Shyamalan, I certainly also believe with a similar lack of doubt that there are aspects that the production team has done very well. This however I did chuckle at. Not meaning to offend Aanchir, you've offered very good opinions in this thread and I do agree with the statement to an extent, I just found it amusing in its melodrama Batbrick Away!
  18. Is that for real? That is the funniest thing I've seen in ages! 7 Earthbenders working together in a ridiculously choreographed dance to send just ONE rock toward the enemy atan extremely SLOW pace!? By the by though Grevious, you won't regret watching the cartoon. Batrick Away!
  19. Fantastic work here Black Rabbit! This is a medium mech? I'd hate to see Upper-Class then. The chunkiness and solidity of it really sells the look, and I love the various weapons, very intimidating. Batbrick Away!
  20. Just want to say I'm still following these Dr S, my favourite so far is the insectoid one, if that ever happened to me I would gladly join the 302 already dead people who had to watch through that questionnaire nightmare! Batbrick Away!
  21. Very nice as usual MacK, I could never make a convincing 'shield' over the cannons I tried to make. The caveman cameo made me chuckle as well. Batbrick Away!
  22. Uncanny, especially since my Davros is an old picture too, he currently has the Darth Vader head. Mind you, I also added a cut-down trans-blue 1x1 round piece on his head for his robotic eye, and I've also updated my Dalek design to be absolutely SUPERIOR! Anyway, my very first Dalek design: And, Supreme Dalek - "THE VAULT WILL BE PURGED!" Batbrick Away!
  23. That is beautiful, I love the way you've done the 'wings' and the engines are very, very smexy. As others have mentioned, it absolutely scream Blacktron, a very badass Blacktron too. Batbrick Away!
  24. I'd argue that while the James Bond influence is there, it's not so prominent in influence that a child will see the two as the same, when not that many kids of around 6 even know James Bond that well (I was lucky). Certainly, the theme is really escapist spy fun, just like Castle is escapist medieval fantasy. Batbrick Away!
  25. Very nice! I once had an alternate-moc spree a while back and this blows my stuff out of the water! The hands on the back and front are a great touch too, and the colour organisation works well. Batbrick Away!
