This is one of the best large scale Daleks I've seen Forresto! Props on your excellent work. I have a couple of gripes, mainly that the head section seems a bit thin in comparison with the rest of the creation, but that's just about the most of it really. Other than that I adore it, and the eyestalk and "arms" are very well done: EXTERMINATE! Batbrick Away!

Late to the party! Wonderful little creations you've got here Oky, I can clearly see the inspiration but the innovation is also very well done. I think my least favourite Kart is Woody's but most of the rest are great. My particular favourites are Zurg's, Buzz's, the LGM one and Stinky Pete's one. The amount of colour variety is also very appealing and in keeping with the Toy Story theme. Batbrick Away!

Great review JammieDodger. Looks like a neat little set, even if I want to throttle inanimate Lego Dobbie to death just for existing. I'm mostly interested in it for that Lucius figure, a great hairpiece and face, and the Death Eater mask is quite good, if a little unfitting for a Black Mask head I was planning it to be. Fantastic creation Anio! I don't normally post in the star Wars forum, but for this I will definitely make an exception. The huge amounts of greebs and details on the Super Star Destroyer is incredible, and the sleek shape of it is perfect. I literally cannot fault this. Batbrick Away!

I'm not seeing anything. Am I meant to be seeing something? I can't think of why I wouldn't see something I'm meant to see, unless the thing that I clearly can't see that I'm supposed to see has been repressed so much from my own memory that I can't see it. Batbrick Away!

Ooh, the Gamma-V, the plot thickens (again)! I'm really looking forward to where this is going now, if this has anything to do with Dash then my attention is captured. Looking forward to more, though the wait is killing me! Batbrick Away!

Doctor Hasn't A Clue (Doctor Who humour).
Batbrick replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Still going great Dr.S, my favourite of the new bunch is the Beast Below (with asteroids!) scene. The bottle episode description had me laughing too, especially this line: "The episode therefore became the most expensive single outing for Doctor Who in its entire history" which just reeks of failure Looking forward to 10! A very fun little scene here! I love the fig getting blasted by the old school ray gun! The best part for me though, apart from the positioning of the minifigs, is the background screen with the different waves of colours. Looks awesome, and the vastly different types of characters actually work very well for the scene! Batbrick Away!

Another enjoyable creation Oky. While not as good as the first, I like the new direction of this one, especially with the big crab, which is awesome. I had to laugh at the crotch bit too, it was just so random! And of ocurse the delightful finish of the absurdly sized cannon is great, props again and may bluecoats forever triumph! Batbrick Away!

Late to comment, but a fantastic creation here Oky! I was always more sympathetic to the bluecoats so it's nice to see some love for them. The first slicing image is brilliant, and the ship landing made me chuckle in my seat. The single best one however is certainly the cannonball head explosion, which is a delightful effect. I have that red weed piece so I am very much stealing that concept (with recognition of course). The barrel part is well staged too, and I am envious of your collection of dynamite sticks. However while i do love that first slicing image I wish you'd just used a plain red cone to connect the legs and torsos, it would've fit better with the use of plumes as blood. However this is minor for a majorly hilarious creation. Props mate! Batbrick Away!

Ah, it didn't use to be like that, but the site changed not long ago, I'll get around to fixing/updating it one day. Thanks.

NOOOO! I will pray! Or alteast I would've (Christian) if it weren't for me noticing your very next post the same minute I saw this one a few days back Loving this Jenny storyline KDog, it seems some information will run concurrently with the main storyline, though I'm doubting it will be resolved until after Dash. Of course, I'm usually wrong. And I'm very, very jealous of you having that collectable Robot fig, I've looked at every toy shop down in Tasmania and there's not a single one here, and I don't want to purchase them online. Oh well. Batbrick Away!

Interesting, thanks for the information Klaus-Dieter. I actually find myself quite looking forward to this, not the trading cards, but the actual figs and general set up sounds intriguing, and who can turn down an orange ninja? Batbrick Away!

Great little creation here Flare! I espeically love the use of bands and the little click-joint thingy....things. I'm quite like you in the issue of the Jelly Aliens, they are pathetic and I hate them, yet at the same time I quite like them and still have them in my minifig display. Maybe it's a case of So bad it's good? Batbrick Away!

Custom The Last Airbender Minifigs
Batbrick replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Sorry to be irritating, but do you plan on making more of these? I very much loved the ones you've done, and was hoping to see more characters done at some point Batbrick Away! -
Late to the party but.... If we allow ourselves to have a Moderator Free Day all hell will break loose! The precious rules and laws that keep us organised and sane will be no more, and every man, woman, child and Lego fan will quickly degenerate into acts of primitive savagery! Husbands will beat their wives then cook them! Bricks will be burned and melted! Children will be converted into the new trading currency! Riots will destroy our homes and families! We will separate the links between man and child! It will be a world of torture, suffering and a lust for power! The streets will run red with the blood of billions and the sky turns to ash and the oceans boil! There will be nothing left! Pets will abused and killed while old people get pushed down stairs! Every glorious nation and person on Earth will be torn down as Chaos sets in without a single attempt at diplomacy, democracy, communism, socialism, fascism or anarchy! It will be simply be chaos! Unending chaos until there is nothing left! Nothing! NOTHING! Nothing but pain and fear and suffering and spamming and despair and loneliness and isolation and war mongering and fighting and hate and anger and greed and envy and jealousy and apathy and cynicism and rage and wrath and selfishness and nihilism and Scientology and evil and torment and torture and abuse and savagery and frenzy and carnage and that rough stainless steel that no one likes! But I do love the idea of a moderator appreciation day, I'd be all for that. Probably not giving them promos or money as some have suggested ( ), but a simple thanks and maybe a friendly competition (for regulars and between the moderators) would be very fun! Batbrick Away!

Pretty pretty pictures for you all! And some wonderful information too, will post my ecstatic thoughts soon: "Thugs have much more variety in appearance. There are armored thugs. Bats can counter 2 thugs at once. There were hints in their demo about joker's health but they couldn't tell what was wrong. Rocksteady won't confirm that it's venom overdose. New quick and brutal attack called the beat down. Batman unleashes a rapid flurry of painful punches that'll knock out most any enemy whether he's wearing protection or not. HARLEY has a new COSTUME. she is wearing red and black pants and a matching midriff-baring top. Her face paint is much more subtle and she has a joker tattoo on one of her hips peeking out over her waistband. NEW GADGET the broadcast analyzer, he uses it to track the location of the joker's transmissions. You can use it to scan around different broadcasts. That's the GCPD dispatch. I can also tune into Gotham FM. There are lots of secrets here for players to find. Lots of mystery broadcasts that will lead you to different areas if you search around: Like Gears of War active reload, players can now hit the attack button again at just the right time to bring down enemies faster. Rocksteady says "What we wanted to do in building arkham city was to create a place with the same attention to detail that we built with arkham island - to create something where there's a story around every corner. It's not a big, empty, expansive world. We wanted something with a real richness to it. WE'RE TRYING TO CREATE THE MOST DETAILED AND RICH CITY THAT HAS EVER BEEN REALIZED IN A VIDEO GAME." --------------------------------------------------- - Sharp took credit for getting the Joker situation under control - Sharp used that incident to help win the election - He then declares Blackgate and Arkham unfit - Sharp buys off a portion of the slums of Gotham - He walls off the area, calls it Arkham City - Sharp contracts a mercenary group named Tyger into defending the walls - Prisoners given one rule: “Don’t try to escape” - Penalty is death - Prisoners free to do anything besides that within - People who look into Hugo Strange disappear - A year has taken place - Two-Face is admitted into Arkham City - Two-Face realizes he needs to make a move to assert himself in the prison so that he won’t be eaten alive - He captures Catwoman, thinking that a public execution would help out his situation - Devs. want a highly detailed city - Can use gadgets while fighting - Example of this: Putting explosive gel on the back of an enemy - A lot of the super villains have formed gangs, have control of different areas in the city - Devs hoping to use more of the “forensics” angle from the first title, incorporate puzzles in them that will get more complex as you progress - Most of the key gadgets unlocked late in the original are immediately available, but it seems it hasn’t been confirmed that all of them will - Explosive gel, line launcher confirmed to be available by default - Interrogations instead of Riddler maps now - Press a button and Batman will taunt enemies - Optional sidestories for some characters, including Zsasz - New costume for Harley - Broadcast analyzer: Mainly used so that Batman can listen to a message from the Joker - There are several broadcasts Bats can listen to, including the GCPD dispatch and Gotham FM - Orcacle is missing - Because of this, Alfred is the one in Bruce’s ear - Rocksteady not talking about multiplayer plans yet -------------------------------------------------- SQUEE! Which one did you see? You should definitely watch more, especially Mayhem of the Music Meister!, Chill of the Night!, Aquaman's Outrageous Adventure! and the Deep Cover for Batman!/Game Over for Owlman! two-parter. It's really good, I'd recommend checking it out, Velma is more interesting, Fred's trap fetish is quite funny and the humour is deliciously dark and witty. Batbrick Away!

It's been a long time since I've read Hitchhikers, but from that paragraph you've sensible accompanied with the moc, I can see the clever design process from the rather vague description. Making it all white really payed off too, and the shoe shape is very recognisable. My only gripe is that the back half is a lot less detailed than the front. Batbrick Away!

Great little setup here, I like how you've used the movable click-joints. They'd be hell on a steady creation but for a vig it works. The way you've positioned the minifigs and webbing is commendable as well. Not much else to say, but a good, simple translation of a good scene. Batbrick Away!
-
Wow! Very, very nice LegoDad42, the mods outdo the actual set so I myself will call it incorporation. The massive detail added looks absolutely stunning, the "pockets" for the guards look really neat too. I also like that it doesn't overdo the detail factor, things are simple enough so that the scene is very recognisable and gives the minifigs a lot of room to move around with. A great creation for a poor film Batbrick Away!

Look mate...you and me, we're done professionally and personally. Just...done. The sheer unrestrained gall in what you felt you had to say was just....geez. Never in my life have I experienced such unprofessionalism and lack of respect. I need a freakin' drink. Batbrick Away! ( )

Excuse me while I will myself into a coma in order to decrease my wait time. Batbrick Away!

Loving the amount of tan in this! So gorgeous, and the cars and pieces are wonderful. Doubt I'll be able to afford it, and even if I could it'd be a hard choice, but damn if it isn't tempting Batbrick Away!

And the original series had quite a bit of steam-punk, there shouldn't be that much fuss. And technology rarely progresses much in peace time. Batbrick Away!
