Wie vraagt wordt overgeslagen, Zeg je nee, dan krijg je er twee. Just some Dutch wisdoms.

Nope, my turn! Sometimes the Reds and Blues were at peace, but the leaders always found ways to challenge each other. On a beautiful summer morning me and the Commodere met out on a deserted road to do some racing. It was the perfect opportunity to test my new 125CC scooter... That big flag might be a bit of a slowdown for him i thought, well i was off to a quick start... But the the Commodore started to use the flag as a sail, silly commodere... He missed the dead Redcoat lying on the road and tripped over it.. He left a trail of blood behind, as the horse dragged him along... I decided to leave him there and drove off to the beach.. Later that day i felt some remorse and i decided that Captain Stash and his sniper rifle should go in to finish the job.. 6 months later... Deja vu..??

Fantasy Castle Display Flag
Captain Green Hair replied to Brickthing's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I think the price would be based on what somebody is willing to pay for it, rather then a fixed one. I'd give you 5$ for it if you like. -
What's with the staff's usernames?

I kinda like my new look, i look really grown up now i think. -
Excellent work Ralph, the shape and colors are just perfect. You've made a cool interior and all the working features also just add to final result. They should make this a set for the next coastguard line.

Not at this point as the teams are full. We will put you on the reserve list, if someone drops out, you're in.

I agree, as they could hold a bar or what not and make a nice flagpole stand or something. They'd also look good as bolts i think in black, as it would look as it they have a screwhole in it.

Mole Pod (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra)
Captain Green Hair replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Wow, that is a cool drill, i must go see the movie now! I love how you made the 6 sided shape of it and the trans black sides are a great touch. I do wonder why you haven't used a chrome Rock Raiders drill on the front, though that might be too short? -
New Pirate themed decals!
Captain Green Hair replied to Captain Blackmoor's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nice work Captain, indeed the detail is just right and they really have that Lego feel to 'm! -
1982 is a good year, it is the year i was finished in. Those old ads contain great pictures, really lively scenes with models of mountains and what not. A pleasure to look at. Thanks for sharing Sally!

Yeah with silver helmets and armor! They could be like the early explorers with some nice Galleons, small settlements and what not... Why not have a Columbus license? -
Welcome to Eurobricks Jorel! I hear you about the space thing, luckily you are getting a new place and i wish you all the best with furnishing it and building a Lego room!

Lasse, you (and the crew you worked with) never cease to amaze me! I love this, it is so great i don't even have words to do it justice.... From the original pictures i can see all the odd closed doors and windows you mentioned, i might have to visit the castle on my next trip to Denmark as it looks like my kind of place. I hope this gets a spot in a permanent exhibition and that it will never be destroyed. Only minor nitpick from me is that you should have waited untill the Prince Willim is finished, it would look awesome moored of on the cast. Thanks for sharing!

I can commission every ship here, and there are more then those 2 haha! Why are you afraid of the Prince Willim? Afraid that it might sail over your canoe? :pir-skull:
-
I have more ships sailing the water then you will build in the next year buddy, and i am still building! :pir-skull:

My team member Ynykle has gone on holiday for 2 weeks and has asked me to post his entry for him. Yes, he was cool enough to send it to me before he went on holiday. He has build this, i'm not playing for another member or team like the Redcoats like to do. So with no further ado: Yeah eat that reds!

You're not expecting me to start counting them now huh?

Nice work Jordan! I love how it turned out, it looks like it comes straight out of a steampunk movie. The Masts, rigging, paddle wheel, smoke stacks and small details are my absolute favourite about this, truly creative and outstanding! Though the hull might not be perfect, she's not bad for a first. The bow might be a bit pointy, but it suits this type of ship...she must be fast. I know how hard it is to make hulls, even trying one is an achievement. I have to say that i don't really like the 2 directions of studs on it, it looks a bit weird around the edges, like some wood was just slapped on the side, not perfectly fitting the lower curve. I have to disagree with you on that, as Teddy is building his HMS Victory hull in the exact same way.

Happy birthday people, have a great day!

Steam, hands down. I have only build 1 steam engine until now, but it will not be the last i can tell you.

Errr, why did you just post 3 times and haven't you deeplinked your pictures? If you have any problems please check out the Help and Tutorial index, and perhaps you haven't read the site guidelines yet? Links to all of those are in my signature. I'm with Stash on this subject.

Yeah swim ya bloody Redcoat haha! Well executed comic Admiral, all the scenes just look amazing. It is common knowledge that Redcoats have their brains in their megablocks, that would of course be what he would be aiming for. Head is French for brain, did you not know that?

And the commodore didn't wear any so he neede leaves to cover up his... I've heard that the survivors were later caught in the forest by some natives, who couldn's stopped laughing, so they gutted and stuffed them. They found that they made some nice statues to please the gods. Very nice entry General!

As a child i collected coins, i had quite a few in my book. Since our money ''disappeared'' as we got the Euro as currency, i started collecting again. I have 1 book of old Dutch coins from 1730 until the year 2000. I quite like the old coins, as they always have nice drawings on them like eagles, lions and what not.
