  1. That's a very nice train station, looks just like the real thing! I'm not familiar with NXT, so i can't help you on that part. I hope you plan on adding scenery around the station, maybe a big tree, some cargo lying around a parking lot with some cars or a bus stop....?
  2. I usually buy sets for parts, so i mostly take them apart. Only sets still (partially) together and on display are the Emerald night, Town plan and the plane from Peril in Peru. Stickers haven't been applied as i do plan on making MOCs out of them.
  3. Great review, this is a great set! The building and it's interior look great, but they should have made a better fire truck to go with it. IMO the truck looks like a duplo on with the too big mudguards. Thanks!
  4. Very good review, i like the shots with the minifigs building a lot! I remember this set being in stores, never picked it up though. The design is great, and fortunatly it doesn't come with lots of big parts like most sets in those years. I'd rate it 8/10.
  5. Very nice and recognizable work, you've caught the round shape of the temple and the mangrove roots growing over down pretty good! I do find the green floor somewhat plain, some sand pools (tan plates) and vegetation might make it look a bit more realistic in contrast to the rest.
  6. Yes, i consider this pretty much a spam topic as well, though i will let it slide since you're new. Before you make a topic, please look around if there isn't a similar topic which you can discuss in. Also think if that what you are posting, is worthy a topic, I.E. is this interesting for the community? Think before you act, that is key. I will lock this up now, as i can see no good coming from it.
  7. Somehow i was expecting an entire fleet when opening up this topic.... That is a nice ship you've build Alexander, are you planning to make more?
  8. Ok, i will take up the task as Team Captain for the Bluecoats, if everybody is ok with that? Let me know, so we can get this show on the road!
  9. Just thought of another: parts disappearing in the vacuum cleaner. I always check every corner of my apartment before i turn it on.
  10. That is the whole reason the reds had to leave the US.
  11. Yes mods turn up red, so that's me The tags, or ''small badges'' as you call 'm might be a cool idea, i will look into it. @Commodore: Making 1 vig per week would be nice i think. Then people would have some decent time to build and the spectators and moderator have some time to grade it. I suggest voting is done by means of a poll, so that it is scientific. I would like to add that team members would not be allowed to vote in the poll, which we can check.
  12. Happy birthday Ralph and other people! Have a great day.
  13. Username: Captain Blue Hair Side: Blue Coats Team Captain: i think i am up for the task if Super doesn't want the job. Give him some red pants perhaps? (Not unthinkable in that age) And boy it sucks for you that your name turns up in Blue.
  14. Wow, those are already some nicely detailed buildings you have there! The shape of the rock looks great as well, i'd make some smaller rocks in the water there and maybe add a little more vegetation. Very inspiring, keep it up!
  15. Indeed, i'd like to keep my Lego and Religions separate.
  16. You can use these techniques to make any ship you like, so shipbuilding academy would be a better description.
  17. Banned members in the dark, they give me nightmares.
  18. Ok step 3 is up, i hope all is clear.
  19. Step 3, placing the hinges As i said the first and last 5 studs of the part we made wider should be 3 plates, or 1 brick higher: Next up we place the hinges like this: As you can see they are all flush with the tiled edges: on the parts where the wall is 1/2 a stud wider, the hinge is placed on a jumperbrick. This is the absolute minimum of hinges to use, i'd rather had placed 2 more in the middle. I'll be ordering those, i truly reccomend you add them. I'll post pictures when i do. Hope all is clear like this, but feel free to ask questions.
  20. I never read it, so i could only vote that. The poll results just scream for a big marketing campaign i think.
  21. Looks like a nice collection you have and the pictures could be a whole lot worse. The pictures are a bit big though, we prefer a maximum picture size of 800 x 600 pixels to keep the loading speed fast for slow connection members. A tutorial on how to resize images can be found in the tutorial index, a link is in my signature.
  22. The store is great, sorry for the late answer.
  23. Welcome to Eurobricks! If you have any problems posting on the boards be sure to check out our help and tutorial indexes, a link is in my signature.
  24. Making the teams bigger would allow a better coverage if you want a vig everyday. (Like 5 per team, maybe have multipole goes and then have the winning teams go against eachother some more or something..) This mother would gladly help out the Blue team, as i think redcoats are just girls having their period. :pir-skull:
  25. You two are welcome to start that little challenge, just think it through and come up with a decent set of rules before you do.
