I think it is this one, with the base cut off. Could also be a clone brand tree...

Clone Brick Review: Enlighten Main Battle Tank
Captain Green Hair replied to paanjang16's topic in Community
Thanks for this review Panjaang! I think the overall look of the tank is quite good and i love the olive drab color. The fact that all is printed is nice too, but i do think that the prints are inferior to Lego's, especially on the minifigs. I also don't like the small camouflaged parts, i mean camo the whole thing, or not at all. The road wheels look good as well, though i think they should have added one in the bottom. I'd love to see Lego make sets like this, or just bricks in olive drab! *Dreams of making US military vehicles in olive drab* -
Would be a bit hard to tell without an image. Perhaps you can provide a link to the picture, or deeplink it in here? If you have problems doing so, you might want to check out the tutorial index, a link is in my signature.

Could you please stop about the spelling mistakes? It is really getting annoying and you do make a lot of them yourself. -

Build a frigate with Captain Green Hair
Captain Green Hair replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
Ok, interchanging that mid will be easyer as it is at the bottom. Thanks, that is the whole point! I have literally spend hours and hours on MSN to explain stuff to various people (which i really enjoyed doing), but this will make it a bit easyer in future. A few posts back i saw the question if the new hulls can also be used, yes they can! And they have some advantages over the old, i just hate the fact that there is no proper stern. But the advantage is that you ccan widen it with reddish brown jumpers and plates to make a straight waterline and they don't have the silly hole in the bow. Keep posting those WIP shots guys! I'd love to see colour schemes, alternative interiors, sterns and what not! -

There are 3 masts based, if you look at the side of the ship you will also see 3 rests. I hope you use those slopes mentioned and make the stern as you please, i'd love to see what you can come up with. This project isn't meant to produce all similar ships, i'm just showing how i build a basic ship, explaining my techniques. I have used the hinges to make that pearl gold stripe, and trust me, making ornaments with the small selection of pearl gold parts is a challenge. -

Who's been messing with the title? At least have the decency to write Blue with a capitol! -

It is good to see that some of you are building with me here, i hope to get some creative input from you guys! General Armendariz i see you used some black plates on the hull. Are you planning to change them? If so, you might want to do that before we make the decks, otherwise it will be quite a difficult operation to get them out..:/ -
Your first plans look really good Horus, there isn't many Egyptian stuff made untill now and i'd love to see this made in real bricks. As some suggested placing the walls on hinges is the cheapest and easiest way to make the sloped walls. Using different sizes of bricks and having some tiles and/or plates mounted sideways can give a nice texture to them. Good luck on this project!

If you look closely you can see the hinges that are placed under the windows in the cabin. The headrails are attached to the bricks with the stud out as shown in the picture from the other side. I'll try and take more pictures when i build the other side. If you have specific problems, please post a pic here and i'll try to explain it better. -
I like the SNOT docks a lot better, but if you like to play around with it and place a lot of minifigs on it, i'd go with plates on top.

Important notice, i have moved the lower deck 6 studs forward, changing the hinges to 5 studs apart in front!: Ok so i have gone ahead and designed 1 side of the ship, if you have questions after this post please ask them before i build the other side, so i can show you in detail when building the other. Note the height of the wall in the middle, the small waterhole and the top of the stairs, all the separated wall sections are now connected: Also note the plates with bar on the inside of the wall, they are meant to tie ropes to later on and they are placed closely to the masts: I have finished the supports for the middle deck: Designing the headrails is always a pain, but here is what mine look like: You can see that they are still a bit preliminary, feedback is much appreciated: And here is how they attach: The rests for the walls have been placed as well, they are made of a technic brick placed on headlight bricks: The front of the rests align with the masts: I have designed a bit of a preliminary stern, feedback on it is much appreciated: The underside: The galleries: Here you can see how the wall slopes a bit over the galleries, pic is a bit fuzzy, sorry: Here you can see how it is build from the inside: So that is it for now, i hop all is clear, otherwise do not hesitate to ask questions! -

That is because i will only put in a few of the guns on the small part of the deck i made, the other portholes will stay closed. You can ofcourse change this on your ship if you like. -

That is bending the rules a bit too much IMO, the ones that lost....well just lost. -

Ah so you want a truce now ey? We should have a final round, or two. :pir-skull: Maybe one of the blue teams would be willing to fight for the reds this coming round, so we'll have 2 winning teams after, who then if different sides can fight one final round. Perhaps you should try and bribe somebody. I also think 1 entry per team member is enough for the coming round(s), giving it 8 days per round. Just my 2 cents. -
Now taking YOUR ideas for the future of LEGO Pirates theme
Captain Green Hair replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'd like to see some villagers, maybe a port set with an inn and a ship supply store or something along those lines. A new stern piece would also be very welcome as the one from the BB does not do it for me. -
Happy birthday! I don't know much about Star Wars, but i think the guy above me is right.

Well bricks are not easy to get or cheap in large quantities for anybody, even the modelbuilders in Legoland have to special order them. With the right connections though...
