I'm sorry Black Rabbit, but we have 4 full teams of 4 players now. Unless 1 more recoat and 2 more Bluecoats sign in, we will be unable to place you in the tournament. 2 more full teams (1 red and 1 blue) of at least 4 players would also be welcome, signing in can be done untill this saturday. On sunday we will do some last minute placements. I hope this is ok with you Commodore Hornbricker......?

And merged it shall be! -

Wonderful work AC! The old look of the walls, the many angles the walls are placed in down to every little detail in the landscaping...truly amazing!

Revisiting old topics (Bumping)
Captain Green Hair replied to Tom_castlefan's topic in Forum Information and Help
And that is the one and only correct answer! You may proceed for the refrigerator now. -
Your design is quite realistic sir Wellington! I love these threads learning us about the history of the 16th - 19th century, i find it quite fascinating. We should have more of these!

I quite like these surveys, as it shows that TLC does want to know what we think. What i'm missing though is a report of the outcome and what actions they will take to attend to the questions and problems mentioned. I have filled it out again, it was also mentioned by Cagri and frontpaged by Copmike.

Hilarious little piece of work! I think the rock and bird are fair ornamentals to attract visitors mr. Phes?

Indeed the 12V era brought great sets, i too remember me driving my 7735 around my room! I wish we hadn't sold it back in the day, but as the Brickster has clearly shown with his MOCs we can revive them with the newer systems. I also remember Holodocs 12V loot when i was at his house, i'd be lying if i didn't say i was a little jealous, especially after he mentioned what he paid for it. The lucky bastard!

One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind
Captain Green Hair replied to CopMike's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
The MOC in itself is a great optical illusion as well. Since the baseplate appears to be lighter then the footprint, the footprint actually will look indented after looking at it for a while. I love Andy Warhol stuff, great job Mike! -
No i think: finally, somebody that uses the search function!

Well a Brickshelf search turned up these: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=328964 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=328964 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=199640 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=148661 Quite a distinctive helicopter, i'd like to make a Vietnam war one sometime. Hope those links help.

A theory behind the large box sizes
Captain Green Hair replied to HumanPackMule's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That actually makes more sense to me. If they wanted to protect the sets, then why not add bubble wrap inside as well? -

Since i hadn't build anything castle ever since i was a kid, the MCC contest held by Rocko on Flickr was the perfect opportunity to build something. I call it 80's smackdown as i wanted to capture the feel of the old catalogs, with a bit of a modern touch. We get in th battle right at the point were the crusaders break out of their castle, before more Falcons come in through the breached wall. But wait, who is that in the tree? Right, it is Robin Hood and Little John and they are being cool. Just waiting for the battle to end and then rob the king after: More can be seen on Flickr. Hope you like it!
