  1. Ok, so i have build up the walls completely: A closer look: NOTE: all the wall sections are still separated and not connected to one another! I have also started to build up the bow, a nice fake gunport there will make the number of guns complete, 20 total on the lower gundeck: With the flap open: Also note the extra horizontal hinges i have placed in the wall: Next we start building up a bit of support for the upper decks,, note that it is important to build over the hinges to make the whole solid: I don't really care about an interior, but if you do you have to make supports on the hinges, like i am doing in the middle of the gundeck (which will be visible): And a final closeup of the stairs, which i almost forgat to put in:
  2. Not necessarily:
  3. It looks amazing Z, i really like the houses as they bring some colour to the whole thing. I agree on the tiling, it looks really nice. Did you print the flag on paper, or is it canvas?
  4. If you are serious about such a project, you might try and contact Lego for a large quantity at a good price. Bricklink is a bit cheaper, but with used ones you never know what condition you get them in..
  5. Too bad your HD camera went broke Joey, i hope they can fix it. I can't make much of these pictures, i only see some fuzzy bits from strange angles. I'll await some better pictures before i give some more feedback. My thoughts exactly.
  6. These are most awesome, i must get hardware to make some waterslides sometime soon.
  7. Your model uses some interesting techniques, i really like the general look of the train. I also like tha fact that this is a ''purist'' model and some of the details like the small ridge in the roof and the interior are amazing. Though the nose might not be my favourite because of all the gaps and the trans blue instead of trans black windscreen. I don't have a better idea either.. Great site you have too, i love all the background info you've placed on it. I have just bookmarked it.
  8. The bigger they are, the better they sink. :pir-skull:
  9. Well i never put in all cannons, juat wait and see before your start ordering them. For those who do want to put all in, they'll have to make parts of the interior by them selves.
  10. 20 on the main gun deck and some more on her top decks. She'll be a 26 - 28 gun frigate when finished. The dark red is great, you'll see on friday.
  11. Ok i've added another step and updated the parts list a bit. Guesstimating the use of parts is difficult though, please bare that in mind. I hope all is clear.
  12. Ok, before we continue, i have made a little change. The hinges in the middle, where the deck is, have been spaced out 5 studs. I have done this to have 4 studs in between the gunports. If you want to have 3 studs in between to have more cannons, then don't change the hinges. Step 6, building up the gunports On the middle 3 wallparts i have placed another black plte. You can clearly see that they are 1 plate thicker then the others: Next i have placed 1 dark red plate over it and started to space out the gunports. In this picture you can also see the change in the hinges:
  13. Such a recognizable scene, well done!
  14. Your beefed up carronade looks marvellous Cap'n! I also like your custom figures a lot, especially the sailors as they look a lot more realistic then the regular ones. Do you print the decals on sticker paper? @Joey, looks like you had a great day. I always love vissiting such things and the British naval tour is definitely on my list of places to visit.
  15. Very well done, i instantly recognize our great little emperor. Maybe some short legs would even make it better.
  16. I was born with weapons in my hand and facial hair, must be his mother that he looks like this. I hope you take good care of him Emperor, saves me the trouble.
  17. Very well executed! The animation looks pretty smooth, though sometimes perhaps just a tad too fast. Though the scenery is pretty plain, the animation and the little jokes well make up for it! Thanks for sharing it with us!
  18. The transparent decals are also for when you like to use waterslide paper. This paper makes stickers like in modelkits and they come of the paper with water. The advantage of this is that you can see the original color of the torso and that they are thinner then sticker paper.
  19. Meh Toa Eurobricks...or something like that!
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks! And yes......Piratey is a word.
  21. Good to see another battalion at the ready General! I'm honoured that i get to wear your only Gov. torso.
  22. That's a great fort you made there. I really like the gatehouse, it stands out nicely! I would like to see some more landscaping around it, are you planning on that by any chance?
  23. Wow Super, your port is growing by the day i see! I really like the new fort and the way the whole thing is layed out. All the ships in there are great as well! The only thing i don't really like is the black and white poles with the rope bridges in between, looks a bit strange to me.
  24. Check this out.
  25. Wow, this sounds promising! Since it is a new concept, it is of course far from perfect, but i don't think there is too many rules. Lug's are popping up left and right, and this way you pick the good from the err.. not so good. Wow, there is really no need to say that 3 times. That rule is stated as an ''average'', so i think that is more to inform the leaders of the LUG what they can expect from their members. The LUG should have at least 10 members and buy 2000 DKK of bricks. 2000 divided by 10 members makes 200. i think just the 2000 DKK rule is handed.
