  1. I have nothing more to add then; simply brilliant!
  2. It's soo funny to see the Great West sign in every entry. You've pictured the scene very well, good luck in the contest!
  3. I knew it, very cool!
  4. I've seen that design on the side of a layout before, was that yours too?
  5. Oh yeah! *Insert rock hand smilie here*
  6. Now that is 1 cool MOC, show us pictures of you wearing it!
  7. I think you've done a splendid job for a first! Don't worry about things not looking lively enough, they do!
  8. You've captured them very well in Lego, very smooth design! I reckon the originals are battery powered?
  9. I usually buy 1 box together with a friend, this keeps the cost low and so I have every series complete. In addition I buy a few extra of the ones I like, but that is it. The biggest in numbers is my modest army of sailors, I have 12 now. Obsessive? To some maybe, but I think it is under control.
  10. They are clips with a short piece of rigid hose as pen.
  11. Looks like a decent ship, I like the brickbuild hull! I'd like to see some more clear pictures before I give any constructive feedback.
  12. Great job, the look through the street is amazing! My only suggestion is to make the signss on the building more Lego like, the decals look too ''real'' for me now.
  13. That's really a nice job fir a first! My suggestion would be to remove the grills from the front, they look out of place. The open top of the turret also seems a bit strange, a hatch against the elements and enemy would be nice on the next I think.
  14. Really too bad it is only for UK members.
  15. Hi, You're new technique seems quite interesting, but from the pictures I can't really make up how it works. Can you please make it clear with some building steps? From your test ship I can see the horizontal curve is a bit much, is there a way too smoothen that out a bit as well? The base doesn't really matter, brown, black or dark brown all looks great with this colour scheme! I'd change the lower yellow line to black tiles.
  16. I need the longest length, only in red and blue available it seems. But thanks anyway!
  17. Really a stunning ship, I wouldn't change the sails either! I would love to see it in real life sometime, to see the effect of the tooth plates in person. (Or I could just try it myself of course ghehe.) The only thing I really don't like is the glued parts on the stern, this sort of thing should only be done if it was invisible IMO.
  18. This is turning out to be 1 beautiful vessel! The only thing I don't really like is the rudder, it has a bit too much gaps in there. Have you considered to make the rudder out of slopes and use a bit of a different hinge for it? I hope that picture is clear, you can of course use inverted slopes on the back of the rudder as well to make it all sloped.
  19. I was searching for long lengths of black 3mm rigid hose, but they seem to be gone. This is such a useful part, I really miss it! So please TLG, give us back the rigid hose!
  20. This is turning out to be a very original and cool looking ship! I especially like the sloped oarholes. On the stern I don't really like the tiles sticking under the curved part, if you build the middle part 1 stud out, the hinges curve around the hull piece very neatly. Will you make the rudder with 1 big oar, or are you going to make a rudder with a whipstick? Here's an example of how the hinges can bend around the hull:
  21. Absolutely stunning creation, it looks alive and evil! The only nitpick I have is to change the face of Vlad with the face of the other vampire, it just looks more evil.
  22. Brilliant MOC Hinckley, all the small detail in the building makes it look very real! I would have liked to see one of those big trees just overhanging part of the temple and as some said, the water is a bit plain. Though I would like to see what effect the different colour plates underneath give.
  23. It's beautiful! How did you attach the whips and guns to the stern?
  24. As far as I know, only the 1x1x1 cone piece comes with a cross hole.
