  1. Great idea to make a line that is from another time. I basically like everything between 1930 and 1970, I'll throw this in the mix for my layout. But if I asolutely had to choose, I'd say the 60's. Great cars, great music and free ...!
  2. Congratulations and welcome to the exclusive XXX club!
  3. You should just be more carefull, I have 0 broken shields!
  4. I'd certainly go for the latter. If you put up a petition, let me know where to sign!
  5. All hail to our ultimate negotiator, have a great day buddy!
  6. Who needs a big door?
  7. Quite a nice and colourful ship you've created. I really like the working rudder chain and the lights in the table! But why do they have a Blacktron logo on the stern?
  8. I see. If you can make the cabin at the same level as the gundeck and lower the back a bit, I think it might look more like your reference. Good luck!
  9. is online, obviously..

  10. You've created a nice looking ship, I like the fact that you have a very own building style. They look a lot like upgraded official ships with the high stern and colour schemes used. I wouldn't classify this as a brig though, it looks more like a galleon in my opinion. Another thing that is a bit off, is the bow. On older ships the bows were usually more flat going upwards. If I may post a reference picture (this looks a bit like what you are making): Do you use any reference pictures or books? I'm interested to see what kind of references you use for the model. Or is it just your vision of a brig?
  11. What a great build, very nice! It looks realistic and lively, I love all the little things that are happening in there. Did she get a grade yet?
  12. Ah that's great, and it looks like it just came of the shelf!
  13. And the goal of this topic is?
  14. I'm sadly, but seriously have to miss out on one. I wish you guys a lot of fun and interesting discussions about the hobby and hope to see you all next year!
  15. Oh no, bad museum, boo! Luckily I understand a bit of Frisian, so I could follow the episode quite nicely. I also heard a bit about it being on radio 538? It's also good to see you still laughing. Especially you Henk, yeah I saw it! Like you said, luckily it is Lego and it can be rebuild. Funny fact is that rebuilding also often leads to improvements. So all the best with that massive task!
  16. It was in the Dutch news today, Merlin is looking for a place in the Netherlands. Dutch EB event on!
  17. Oooh, this one is on my list too, and it has to be absolutely 6 studs wide. I'm curious to see what this thread might bring.
  18. That was a great read, thanks for making that! I too like your building style Steinkopf, it is all nice and easy and could just be a real Lego set.
  19. Absolutely brilliant, smooth and realistic creation! The ''half'' metro is a good idea, I'm planning one in my future layout and this would be a good solution to start with.
  20. Absolutely brilliant purist redesign, I love the video. Thanks for sharing it with us!
  21. Brilliant version indeed, the best I've seen so far. Great find!
  22. That was a brilliant video, I didn't know all that about Ninjago. Now I want some, and I think I even like the game. Let's just say it is slightly more sophisticated the throwing bricks at each other whilst being drunk.
  23. So that is the part you were talking about on Flickr, now I get it. I do wonder if those gears are strong enough for my heavy beastie. Very original creation and I envy the driving skills it has. The video is inspiring, thanks for making and sharing it!
  24. Happy birthday guys, have a great day!
  25. This is a very good start to make this cool feature! The next challenge would be to make port flaps that move with the cannons.
