So this is a train that has been build by a girl? That's a first I think? I really like the colours she has used, the whole looks really smooth and fast. You can right click on the image in Flickr, when viewing it in large size, you can copy the items location. You can then put that link in here. I ran into the same problem last sunday.

I guess Porsches are popular these days, i just commented on another one! I really like the fact that this is 5 wide, as a Porsche is not that big a car. Well done!

Absolutely brilliant! I don't mind cheating on the minifigs, I do it too when legs and such don't fit. Thanks a lot for the instructions, I have downloaded them. It is not always necessary to reinvent the wheel.

Golden age of Classic Pirates
Captain Green Hair replied to On Stranger Tides's topic in LEGO Pirates
It's piraty enough, but your masts are a bit short. -
Very nice plant, I like it! Your machines look like they are really working and the Zenith view makes it look like a really tall building. I'm also curious about your door, does it really work? I do see some hinges in there? The only thing I don't really like is the facade, it looks rather bland in comparison to the sides of the building. I think it might look better if it were a bit refined and had some more tan instead of grey.

REVIEW: 8827 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6
Captain Green Hair replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Series 6 is looking great, I really like the mechanic and Roman soldier. I voted above average in the poll, and yes I'd like to see these minifig contests and reviews continued here on EB. For the question, what is your favourite series, I had to think for a minute. They are all so nice! But if I have to choose, it would be series 4. The sailor and punkrocker minifig are just epic! *Why do we not have a punkrocker smilie?* Great review Fangy, thanks for making it! -
Ah brilliant, thanks! You've done a very good job copying it Badsneaker and we all know how hard reverse engineering can be.

Very clever build, a song comes to mind:

Thank you for all the kind words guys, I'm glad you dig it! I agree on the R, but after a lot of fiddling, I decided to stick with it. I'm also not too happy about the A, R and A not touching the bottom line of the other letters. I'm really open to suggestions for improvement here! Good idea using panels on the back, I'll take it into consideration. Thanks! Hi, they are my vehicles, they are not 100% copies of theirs. But I'm glad you like them! Well, there isn't much action.... It slides up, just like the regular Lego garage doors do, kind of. Thanks, I haven't got the mechanic yet, but I'll surely add it when I do and make a new picture.

WW Category 2: 1908 Wild West Town
Captain Green Hair replied to marshal_banana's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
How could I have missed this? It is incredibly good! If I'm allowed 1 nitpick; I don't really like the Sherrif sign, as it seems a bit comical in reflection with your other signs. -
Seems like your fleet is wel under sail way sir! Might I ask of what part the lantern in your entry for the contest is made of? Is it a Spongebob jellyfish net?

Wow, really great building! The colours and small detail are beautiful! I wish you would elaborate on the interior a bit, I.E. telling what is what. Since you took the time to make one, it is a shame we have to guess what it is IMO. Can somebody point me a link of Jamie's model? I haven't seen it I think... Thanks!

Looking for help building a funeral coach
Captain Green Hair replied to jackson233's topic in LEGO Town
A hearse for mini figures should be preferably 6, maximum 7 wide to be in correct scale I think. I quite like your design Highway patrol, it's simple, yet very effective! -
B-OV-25B, and V-LV-57C & V-LV-57D Hi folks, I present my first building for Greenville. This is Joe's Garage, for fuel, tires, customizing, tune ups and more... First a few shots of the building itself: The front, I quite like it. The side, nothing really special. The back, I might add some things when I integrate it into the layout of Greenville. The roof with a nice skylight. I'm debating on putting black tape behind the sign, but it isn't very lego-ish I suppose. Now meet Joe and his wife Anna; Hello! Here you can see how the garage door works, it slides over the white rails and can be opened with the roof closed. Inside the shop, Anna runs the counter and most of the Fuel sales: Of course they sell motor oil as well. (Had to show my vintage Shell bricks hehe) Behind the counter is a small office with a kitchen, fridge, table, woodburner for heating, a telephone and yes, Pizza! The hart of the shop is of course the workplace. Joe loves old signs, so the shop is literally full of them. Ah, there we have a customer! ''Fill 'r up sir?'' ''No, I need a new tire I think.'' No problem for an experienced greaser like Joe; Look who's rolling into the street, it's Captain Green Hair on his new chopper! ''Fuel sir?'' ''Yes and you woman!'' ''Hihi, OK!'' And there they blast off into sunset, leaving poor Joe to himself... This is the first building I've made for my upcoming city layout, I will name it Greenville. (Said that a few times now I guess) This isn't a very complicated building, but it is nice to have a bit of learning experience into my journey of buildings. Credits for the hotrod go to Misterzumbi, it was mainly inspired by his wonderful Hotrods. Credits for the chopper go to Mijasper. I just wanted a fat rear tire and a bag to bring clean socks. That is all folks, I hope you enjoyed it!

This is a fresh new take on piratical defence, nice job! I disagree with that statement, as a lot of colonial forts did have those colours. Here's a reference image: This is a non plastered one, though it also may have disappeared. There were also plastered forts, other colours like earth tones and such were also used.

You're the man when it come to making model soldiers I see, fantastic work! I'm curious to ask what has drawn you to Lego, rather then using other materials to make realistic models? Do yo plan to make a battlefield diorama with the Lego models when they are finished?

It's big, it's mean, and Sean Bean wasn't in it
Captain Green Hair replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in LEGO Town
I get a Mad Max feeling with this, great! -
Happy birthday Kim, hope you have a great day!

Dark tan seems most appropriate to me, as you can imagine decks get wet and dirty and this gets into the wood. A daily scrub will not prevent this completely. Tan is second best, but it looks like freshly cut wood. Reddish brown or dark brown is great for well aged decks. Light grey is my least favourite, but still looks OK imo.

Thanks for all the nice wishes guys! Now that I'm 30+ I'm officially old I guess. To answer some questions: I always drink enough. Yes, I still have my motorcycle. I won't make it to Billund this year guys and I'm really sorry about it. The reason is that we bought a new house. Though, a pro of this, is that I'll have a real Lego room next year. Next year I do plan on making it to the event again, but then again, you never know what happens in May.

Instantly recognizable, excellent design! Don't mind if I build a copy.

Friendship hairpieces good for Pirates?
Captain Green Hair replied to Captainmorgan's topic in LEGO Pirates
I think it is quite a good idea, but perhaps a gouvernour should have it in a light gray or white colour. Perhaps I need some friends too. -

Fully functional rollercoaster
Captain Green Hair replied to Gijserman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Excellent design, it is the best working one in Lego I have ever seen! Are you planning on adding minifigs and scenery to make a park around it?
