  1. I finally got proper gold in the mail as well, though did did send me 2 instead of 3 packs. Ah well, I'm a happy camper. Does anybody else notice that the soldier torso's in the London Escape set have a bit of a pinkish print? I've asked for replacements, but they didn't get much better.
  2. You can use some black near the water, rock often gets darker over time there. The rest of the black might indeed look good at the back of the cave, to make things look more dark. You've made a cave 1 time already, what did you think of those colours?
  3. This is beautiful, great cannon design as well! My only nitpick would be: tile it!!
  4. Haha, that's great! For a caption: ''We are the peace squad baby!''
  5. Brilliantly build engine, hats off! How did you build the curved black trim, or is that a secret?
  6. Looks like you're off to a great start here! I really loved the adventures of captain Nemo as a child, the Nautilus has a nice mysterious feel too it. I was just about to mention the TIE fighter windows, but you already thought of those. I can't wait to see this in real bricks!
  7. Nice one Sieggy! I guess things are going well in crocodile land? Even on a 650 that can be top sport, but you've made a good decision there I think.
  8. That's a pretty good design for an apartment building in a nice classic colour scheme! My nitpick would be the yellow bricks under the parts where the roof offsets, those might look better with black bricks. The back entrance could be behind the 2 larger apartments, where there should be some extra space for a small hallway. Perhaps with some letterboxes and doorbells. Just my 2 cents...
  9. It will all depend on how things evolve with our new house, but if I can, yes I am there!
  10. That's a great set to have indeed, very nice! Very good review as well, thanks for sharing.
  11. Haha, some funny captions in there! My 3 points go to: Julliet Kembitskey Cameron Tattersall Rickey Legofoster Simply because they are about rum, and I do like rum! Good luck everybody!
  12. Quite a nice cave abd story you have made there! Never! You're the only one that wants to be the son I think! most of us are the governor, admiral or captain here.
  13. This is a promising start to a great tutorial. I really like all the small LDD models you've made to describe things. Thank you for sharing and carry on the good work!
  14. It has again been a great event, thank you all for joining in and making it so awesome. Hope to see you all again at another!
  15. Not bad at all, I love the small detail and the elaborate sails! I do think you could make her slightly wider in the middle.
  16. Hey that is a neat little set, I hadn't seen it yet! And a damn fine review too sir.
  17. Nice work, looks just like a real small trading vessel!
  18. I really like your Huey, looks just like the real thing in the right scale! Your Mutt looks a bit long in the pictures, but it could be the angle.
  19. Well I've send them another email, this time with pictures. The gold in my 4193 is dull as well! And if that wasn't bad enough, the soldiers have pink prints on the torso's. The sets are quite expensive, Lego should really fix this in general.
  20. Love the new houses Z, they look very realistic! Are there any new shots of the entire port with ships together?
  21. Looks like you're off to a great start here, the colour scheme is solid! The walls might be slightly too high, I also feel there is too much wide on the side. I might go for a small gold stripe on the top to break it a bit. I also think the headrails need improvement, it looks a bit plain and hollow now. Lastly the top of the stern could use some more detail, it is too plain for my likings. I hope that feedback helps, good luck on building your magnificent ship!
  22. Well I got mine today, but all they send me was 2 sprue's of the old type chrome coins. This was in Holland.
  23. Even without being curved, the stern looks very good! You might want to make some doors next to the blue cylinders though, otherwise everything gets wet inside.
  24. I like to use the real Lego cannons in ships, in the new colour they simply look awesome. Apart from that you might want to widen the sides a bit and make them slightly higher to have a more realistic look to it. And it allows you to move the cannons around a bit better. Good luck with it!
  25. I think Jipay stayed there 1 time with his girlfriend, you could send him a PM and ask.
