I think plastic tends to discolor with age anyway, even if it wasn't in the sun. All of mine have been in plastic totes for about 15 years nowhere near the sun or rubbing against each other and the whites have discolored like crazy. Oh well, they have cleaning tips on this site too. As far as the new faces. I rather like them. The original smiley does have some charm to it, but the new faces do add a little depth/detail to an otherwise monotonous field. But I like both and interchange them willingly.

Welcome to the site. It is a great source for all things Lego. Harry Potter lego got me back into Lego also after about 16 years. I saw the new sets and had to have them all. Since then I have the video games under the Christmas tree, not to mention multiple books/movies updated also. Check out the licensed forum for some good HP related stuff.

I've never been to Fort Wayne, but it is neat seeing another Indiana person here. I went to school at IU=Bloomington, so nowhere near Fort Wayne, but I met my wife in IN and she is a great enabler of all things Lego as well. It's great. Welcome to the site. 7571-1: The Fight for the Dagger on clearance at TJ Maxx. They sometimes get discontinued lego sets and sell them cheaper than other retail outlets. I had no interest in PoP, but since this was cheaper and I wanted to buy something, there ya go.

I haven't seen any of those at my TRU, which stinks. Sounds like a few people got some good deals. Lucky!

I have yet to enter a contest, but since 'tis the season, I am in the mood for something like this. I'll have to do some deep thinking on what set-up I would want. I can't wait to see the entries! There are a lot of creative builders on this site.

I do like those new centaurs. I wanted to add some fantasy mix to my armies. Especially since we will be getting minotaurs in the upcoming CMFs. The question isn't, do I get one. The question is, how many?

I never liked Ninjago until seeing some of these new sets. Now I want a lot of the older ones. Weird... I don't care too much for the vehicle, but the figures look greatly detailed. I am excited to see these in the flesh, so to speak. Nice review. Very thorough. Good pictures. It gives us a good idea of what to expect.

The custom coat is very, dare I say, pimpin'? No, it's not easy, but it sure is fun. Brilliant work.

The angled wall is brilliant. I would be proud of that also. The mixture of tan and sand red in the walls looks very appealing to me. I want to get some sand red bricks now to build something. I love the sand green and sand blue colors. And the river is well done. Brilliant work.

Brilliant sports car build. I like what you've done here. The exhaust is brilliant. The sloping shape is brilliant. Keep up the good work.

I am a huge fan of that bear mold. I would probably get multiples of the sets it is in just for more bears!

If I didn't know better I would say it is a real Gingerbread house. It captures the look and feel of one quite nicely. A great addition for the upcoming holiday. Brilliant work.

I really like the snow effect you have here. It definitely makes me feel colder..or is that the air conditioning? Either way, good build. The red roof is nice, but it does stand out a bit. I do agree a black roof might look better since there is some red already around the windows. Keep up the good work.

Nice watchtower! It definitely looks sturdy and defensive. I don't picture anyone getting in there.

Nice MOC. It is definitely a larger SES, that's for sure! I like that you kept the original overall feel/look of the ship and added in some new elements for the size. I was actually in the midst of MOCing the SES with some newer color scheme and a little larger size, but I have since scrapped that idea and am going to build some other ship. Good work and keep it up!
