  1. Definitely need Kreacher. I really like this set-up. I love all the details on the inside. With that said, I doubt this would ever come to fruition due to that much detail. Plus, 2000 pieces for $100 might be out of reach. But then again, I don't know a lot about TLG overall since I've been out of the game so long. Keep up the good MOCs, digital or otherwise.
  2. Sorry, can't help you there. I'm an eye doctor..although, some of those diseases do get in the eye..hmm. But so true, so true about being an adult is better for monetary purposes..but of course, now I have the responsibility of working to pay for these things instead of just asking my mom at holidays :). Granted, I still do that. That sounds really familiar. I can kind of place it in my head and I chuckled remembering it. The only medicine I know of is to buy more sets! Fortunately, there is no cure for this addiction. Thank you fellow doctor. Thank you. It is good to be here. I've learned and seen a lot already!
  3. I saw this set at TRU and was in awe. I'm getting back into legos so I was blown away by this set. I didn't buy it yet, but it is on my list! I love the non-castle castle theme!
  4. I love the black knights. This is a great MOC. This is my favorite of your MOCs I've seen so far. You inspire me to create some of my own.
  5. I agree with others where this structure is much better, but the figures are better in the escape from dragon prison set. Oh well, that's why you buy both!
  6. That dragon general looks awesome. I'm excited to get this set. I would consider multiples just for the knight and the horses barding. I don't see anything wrong with how they made it.
  7. As much as I want more dragon knights, I agree completely. The lions should have the larger force and the dragons probably just hit them in small waves to try to break them down. But I have bought multiples of this to build up the armies. I'm only at 13 lions and 10 dragons or something, so not too far off.
  8. This is the set that got me interested in all things Kingdoms. I liked the bucket and the chicken the most. The new weapons don't bother me too much, but since they are a different scale than what I am accustomed to, I'd much prefer not having them.
  9. That does sound like fun. I need to dig out all of my previous sets from storage and see how they all look I had close to all of the castle themed sets from late 80s/early to mid 90s. Then for some reason I thought I was too old for legos and quit buying them...
  10. I really like the last picture of the big group of Falcons. I need to dig mine out to see how many I have (it will pale in comparison to yours). Where did you get the large cloth flags with the falcon crest??
  11. Since I am new to "MOC"ing, I really like what I see. I don't have any criticisms. I do like the woodwork/rock-work and the little opening on the front-middle above the portcullis.
  12. I really like the blue roofing and the archway behind the front doors. I actually built an archway very similar to that without ever seeing this post! Great minds think alike.
  13. That's a really good price! Every Target near me is sold out of everything Kingdoms, other than prison carriage rescue on clearance, which I keep buying anyway :). You ordered SEVEN?!?! Do you just use the pieces for army builders or do you have a massive fortress also?
  14. That would be awesome to see, but I think that might be too many goodies for one little set. But even if they took out one or two things, it'd still help build up armies quickly.
  15. I used to love the Wolfpack. I can totally see them hiding out like this. I've been meaning to build hide-outs/fortresses for my factions as well, but mine won't be anywhere near as good as this one. Good job! I like looking at your MOCs.
  16. Good idea. I've considered meshing forces together, but at times I just don't know. But definitely smart to get as many new Kingdoms soldiers now while they are active.
  17. Hello all from the Midwest, USA! I just recently came across this website and fell in love with legos all over again. Up until last fall with the new Harry Potter sets, I had a 16 year hiatus (back when I was 11 or 12). I have since gotten re-obsessed with legos and purchased all of the Harry Potter sets immediately and have since started the Kingdoms collection. I loved the original Black Falcon/Crusader/Black Knights sets in the late 80s/early 90s and the new sets are helping me get back into the groove. As much as I like LOTR, I'm not really into the fantasy aspect too much with legos. Although I can understand why some people did enjoy those sets. Thankfully the Mrs doesn't mind that I buy so many legos (and thankfully I have a job to support the new habit). And our daughter is showing an interest as well, so that's awesome. I'll probably linger mostly in the Licensed forum or the Historic forum, but I have been browsing all of them lately. Doc
  18. I 100% agree! I always loved the Black Falcons.
  19. I like how you have a backstory for each group and the alliances for each. I just started buying the new Kingdoms, but have lots of older Crusaders/Falcons/Dragons from early 90s, so I was considering making alliances as well. Nice job!
  20. Brilliant chicken coop!
  21. I love seeing these huge armies. I've only recently started buying legos again (after a 16 year hiatus (I'm 27 fyi)) and thanks to this Historic Theme forum I started buying the Kingdoms sets. Originally I loved the older Crusaders/Black Falcons/Black Knights and have many of those in storage, but have taken an interest in the newer Lions/Dragons also. I am at a crossroads. Do I continue to build up my Dragon and/or Lion army to compete with you fine people, or should I build the older armies from which I have a good base already via bricklink? I have found a large amount of the prison carriage rescue on clearance at Target so I have purchased a few of those already. When I am ready, I will post my army(ies) as well.
