Please be Power Miners... That's a really good point. It could be one of Lego's own IPs (maybe Chima or even an Agents return) I still want Spongebob and/or Scooby-Doo instead. The content has gotten way more intense than comparable themes (like LOTR), but that's just me. I would be surprised for Lego to do Stranger Things again, pleasantly so, but surprised nonetheless. Captain Cutler, Phantom Shadows, Ghost Clown, Werecats, The Alien Invaders, Witch's Ghost, The Creeper, Space Kook, Miner Forty-Niner, Tar Monster, 10K Volt Ghost, The Skeleton Men, I could go on and on, Hex Girls, Crystal & Amber, Snakebite Scruggs, this theme has legs.

I mean, they haven't had sets in the last 1-2 years, so they're still candidates. Larry, Pearl, Bubble Bass, Karen, microfigure Plankton, Squilliam, I would kill for some new Spongebob sets. Looking on Brickset, the only other candidates besides Spongebob, Scooby-Doo, and TMNT are Indiana Jones (which still has sets on shelves), PPG, Stranger Things (which has gotten much darker since the Upside Down released, making it less likely to return), Overwatch (has Blizzard straightened itself out?), Avatar The Last Airbender, and Angry Birds. The rest are Disney films (TLR, POTC) or Lego "Licenses" (Galidor). My money's on the big three I already mentioned.

That sounds really bad. I've noticed a lot of fragility in recent models. Appreciating the QC testimonials, guys. It's unacceptable to go through so many problems when they charge premium prices. Just...how!? Mega used to be notorious for QC issues, but I caved and started a Halo collection right around Infinite's release. Their QC has markedly improved: clear instructions, no missing parts, sturdy construction. Lego needs to maintain superiority if they want to stay on top. Only the best is good enough. -
That's kind of the point. Nothing we do can save LEGO DC, only LEGO and WB can do that. It's poetic in a way. all of our passion as fans, undone by corporate greed (or incompetence ) He'd probably be green, since he lacks the personality to join the others. Unless he inspires Hope, which would make him Blue. Here's the Emotional Spectrum btw: Green - Willpower (Overcomes Great Fear) Yellow (Sinestro) - Fear (Inspires Fear, not fearful) Blue - Hope Red - Rage Star Sapphire (Pink/Violet) - Love (Lust?) Orange - Avarice (AKA Greed) Indigo - Compassion (The Cruel and Compassionless must learn Compassion) Black - The Absence of Light is Death White - The Totality of Light is Life Nothing ever truly dies. Undeath. Reincarnation. Anti-Life. Absolutely not. Do you even have a goal? A genuine plan? Are you just gonna memepost until the heat death of the universe? I thought you were supposed to be the good guy. And a turtle thing, I guess. Bootleg (Extremely Bootleg) Blackest Night. You get the vague sense that something is happening, but no one knows what it is. Not even the forum posters writers. So nothing like the actual DC comic.

Sail Barge should've had like 20 figures at minimum, Skiff set shouldn't have been separated, but included (and doubled) along with the Sarlacc. Maybe shave some parts off the Sarlacc and Skiffs, but yeah, the minifig selection is my biggest gripe. Also, I really think Leia needed her pixie boots. Even as a wraparound print would've been fine. Still no Brock Starsher... Lego's QC has slipped to a remarkable degree. I haven't had any problems, thankfully, but I'm constantly reading these horror stories. On the other hand, unreleased R7 is a nice surprise. Still would be better for QC to clutch up a bit. -
Aren't the White Lanterns essentially this concept already? (and Gold is theorized to be this as well) *Only One Light can quell the darkness*Clue is between the stars. I remember hearing about this in History class. They called it Laterem Nox, "Brickest Night" _ MJ Carter In all seriousness, in order to defeat the Brickest Night and win the War of Plastic, 7 things must happen: There must be a symbol of Hope (Superman) Fear must be instilled (Batman) Love must conquer all (Friends Flower Shop) There must be Rage (Darth Vader (ROTS) Avarice must consume you (Lex Luthor) Compassion will be learned (City EMS Set) And Willpower must be strong (Green Lantern) Should any of these fail to occur in the year 2025, then be not afraid, but at peace, for all is lost. All will be united by the Black Claw.

I'd rather put my faith in Project ARTEMIS (The NASA thing, not the DC characters). There'll be no saving your city this time. For what sates its hunger is in your very ABS. Nice list. Call me crazy, but I think maybe 501st... Excellent Ideas all round. Speaking of ARF Troopers, I really wish LEGO'd bring them back. I really want new Shadow ARFs, not just for the utter poodooshow that would ensue amongst scalpers, but because I actually want a small squad of them. Clone Shadow Troopers ($29.99): Shadow Clone Trooper (Phase II), Shadow ARF Trooper (x2), Shadow ARC Trooper (Commander Cards from CWA), BARC Speeder, AT-RT, Commando Droid (x2), Commando Droid Captain. Kaminoan Defenders ($19.99): Republic Scout Speeder (Hasbro vehicle), ARC Trooper (Blitz), ARF Trooper (Rancor Battalion, White Arms x2), Elite ARF Trooper (Rancor Battalion, Maroon Arms). -

Set wise, probably Blacktron I and UFO. But for minifigs, Blacktron 2, Classic, and Ice Planet 2002. -
Please be SpongeBob or Scooby-Doo...Please be SpongeBob or Scooby-Doo... We've had too many Ideas for SpongeBob for LEGO to not get a clue (Scooby-Doo), on the other clip, I demand Captain Cutler and the Phantom Shadows. Of course, neither are particularly relevant, but they're two of the more iconic franchises LEGO no longer owns. Third, unbiased, guess, maybe TMNT? That has always been in-and-out of popularity, and is definitely worth a second shot, perhaps with sets from across the series' history.

I want to agree with you here, but like Commando said, it's been confirmed that the OG Rebels sets did poorly. Whether that was because of the source material or poor set choices (*coughcough*) is debatable. I for one would love more Rebels sets, but LEGO doesn't do sets from old shows that often. I mean, a new Star Wars show didn't hurt. The Ghost v2 is an Ahsoka set, not a Rebels one. A small technicality, but one worth mentioning. Facts. Long live the Empire. -

I mean, horrible tortures exist in our canon too. I doubt any of those villains would be considered cartoonish. Like @THELEGOBATMAN said, context is everything. The electrified walls of the prison are an effective tactic. (I'm assuming that's what you're referring to), both in creating tension for the characters, and for the audience. EDIT: I totally read that as walls, not wails. Either way, psychological torture is a very real thing, and has been utilized throughout history. So, it's not a stretch for a galactic empire to use such techniques on its captives. -

That is a killer Batwing! I definitely like the upgraded seats, and the overall design is sleek and instantly recognizable. 10 Bat-Stars (of Fame) out of 10. -

Really resisting the urge to make a smart remark, he was talking about me. Market it however, in universe, (and in our hearts) it's still the Slave I. Will that name be used for toys? Idk, Idc, it's just letters on a box. Besides, was Anakin a slave or an indentured laborer? Can't change that. Are the Zygeerians slavers or people transporters? It's the Slave I because the slave won, whether Disney wants it to be so or not doesn't matter. They didn't create Star Wars, and they don't control the fanbase. If you want to ignore decades of lore, so be it, but others are allowed to remain loyal to the source material. Shocking as it may seem, I'm still gonna like Star Wars regardless of what Disney wants to do, because I don't care about what Disney wants. They make shows, we make our own stories/stick with the classics. Mouse be damned. Also, it's a ridiculous point to argue that somehow renaming the Slave I (which, btw, they haven't actually done) is them "moving in a different direction". -

Everyone knows that Boba Fett's ship (and by extension, Jango's) is called the Slave I. Always has been, always will be. The Maker George Lucas decided it. Nothing anyone else says can alter that. For nearly 20 years, LEGO has referred to the model as Slave I, in contrast, they've always named The Khetanna Jabba's Sail Barge. People are only mentioning this particular change because of LEGO's history with the models. I raise that all of LEGO's set name choices have taken an odd turn, lately, and Slave I's apparent renaming is just an effect of that. The only thing of true controversy would be if the little black plaque somehow neglects to refer to Jango's ship by its proper designation. As in, class: Firespray-31, name: Slave I In other news, glad to see Plo Koon finally gets his remake, Night Troopers I couldn't care less about, U-Wing sounds nice. I still haven't bought a UCS set (cries in A-Wing and RGS), so I'm not gonna say much about Slave I except that it should've been system scale. -

Is it too hard to just spell the Millennium Falcon? Or just the Falcon? What's not debatable is that merchandising took a hit following the...divisive...episodes VIII and IX. Only the Mandalorian has successfully revitalized the brand toy wise, not TCW Season 7, not Resistance, not Rebels, and certainly not any of the following TV shows (including the ones everyone likes, such as Andor) Anakin's ETA-2 (Battle of Coruscant). I'd put money on it. I'd say a V-Wing is the next likely option, as they don't usually release a system-scale and UCS at the same time, meaning no ARC-170. -

2009 Separatist Shuttle. While I don't think we need a lot of senators, some of the more prominent figures of the Clone Wars should be immortalized in plastic. Chuchi, Papanoida, Taa, but especially Mas Amedda (he is Sheev's right hand man). Not having Wat Tambor is frankly criminal. They'd be cool aliens at a minimum. Mas Amedda is an important member of Palpatine's cabinet (as is Sly Moore), Papanoida doubles as an official GL minifigure, We got such figures in the Hasbro lines (ROTS and TLC), Lego could sprinkle in a couple here and there.
