    Sometimes I wonder if peoples are not a bit blind Same big dish than the 42054/42070 + a 4x4 round plate, with all "external" studs covered by 4 1x1 round tiles. And finaly a technic dish 2723.

    The most likely control scheme is: The selector on the left of the 6H alow too choose to power the 6H or the gearbox on the chassis the 6H gearbox control elevation/extension/winch both ways. If the power run to the chassis, one gearbox control stabilisation extension, second one control turret rotation. both ways too

    Everyone has his own level of expectations, his way of considering a purchase, his own Lego passion and collection, his money. There is not an unique "good way to buy", everyone does what he wants to do. And this is the same within a discussion, it mean that we are not obliged to fall in love with the model just because its a big one. We have the right to criticize, to discuss. There is no negativity to say that the model, for me, is visually disappointing. If there are negative points (and all this is subjective), we do have the right to talk about it. For me since 42043 and 42054, Technic sets has a hard time to make me dream.

    Not the same scale at all. There is way more room in the 42082. Why would I spend 229 for a crane which does not add anyhting new compared to my 8421 and 42082, except turret rotation and the way functions are operated (not sure about that at the moment)?

    8421, 42009: everything is more compact and fit into the turret, without garbage design I know, just to mention that axles are not totally rigid and welded to the body.

    Real modern cranes are the exact opposite actually: The turret on the Lego model is too large, too massive, too bulky.

    What flows? For me the lack of motorisation/mechanisation for the turret rotation. A RC 42081 would have been redundant with the 42030 .
