    I suspect that they will be using this piece. Also, I really like them; the printed heads combined with the torso and leg designs give them a somewhat classic feel.

    This has been a fairly common mod since the original released, so I can see LEGO doing it. I hope that if we do get one, it has a Classic Space-style frame (blue supports, grey antennas and dishes, lights, etc) and a brickbuilt crater base, rather than just being a direct remake of the original but with CS astronauts in place of monofigs.

    Our first look at the City aliens (8:20)! While a new headpiece would have been nice, I really like these! Their suits have a nice late 90’s-early 00’s vibe, and the heads are cute (very much the alien equivalent of the Standard Grin). They seem to have the CS logo in orange, along with the left leg stripe-and-triangle detail from the 2022 City astronauts, so I wonder if this is the 2024 spacesuit. Also, if they are not already using it, I am definitely putting the lime antenna hat piece on these guys!

    What little legitimacy this argument may hold in discussing factions such as the Black Falcons and Lion Knights evaporates completely when the knight in-question is one of the Dragon Masters! That is actually less accurate! The rough dates of the Middle Ages are ~500-1500, but tomatoes were first cultivated in Europe (Italy) around 1540-1550 and spread over time from there; it is actually more plausible that this knight is a woman than it is a man who has just eaten tomato sauce!

    Every CMF has new parts (either moulds, prints, or both), so 12 new animal heads should be easy to do; additionally, the parts for the dragon, rabbit, and (possibly) pig still exist.

    I thought this as well, but since the character to which @Renown is referring might be the anniversary Minifig, I do not think that we have enough information to assume that the desirable ‘fig is TCW-era. That said, the set itself definitely could be.

    It just occurred to me that we could get a Lunar New Year animals CMF series at some point - We already got Halloween, Christmas/Thanksgiving, and a generic birthday/costume party, so LNY is not unprecedented.

    That is the same part that was used for Pythor in the 2022 sets, so it is still in-production (or can easily be revived). I think that the Maaray guards were intended to be based on eels, not snakes (though they do reuse the snake headpiece).

    Very interesting! Nüwa does not seem to have been a villainous figure (she created Humans and repaired the sky), but her lower body is that of a snake, so that part does fit the hints in the set. Also, if Nüwa is in the next season, then the five coloured stones are absolutely going to be the collectible item!

    While Basil’s original head was yellow (and I would certainly be fine with yellow again), he was also very heavily implied to be a vampire, so white or GITD-white would also be good choices.

    The Jade Rabbit Spirit fits the jade but not the snakes, and the Python Demon fits the snakes but not the jade (her colour is red). Maybe LEGO plans to change her colour to green, since we have gotten multiple red villains already (DBK family, Macaque), but that seems unlikely given how surprisingly accurate to the source material the theme is.

    Had we not already just gotten one, I would have thought that this was a hint for a final duel diorama!

    True; that does not mean that I am wrong, though! I doubt that LEGO would flesh out any of the Classic Castle shields before doing all of the well-known factions first.

    The catalogue is not connected to individual sellers' stores (which is what seems to have been hacked), but if someone is messing around in the "spaghetti code", who knows what might happen? 😬

    I am honestly 50/50 on this - I can see it just being a little nod (like the blue helmet in the Ninjago Prime Empire gamers' market), or us actually getting the green Spaceman back (maybe in the Space CMF?).

    Or in black for the Dragon Masters?! I would be fine with no dragon plumes if the entire helmet looked like a dragon!

    The Minifig has too many clothes for that, though!

    Those notes make references to all classic Castle themes, so I doubt that they were intended to be hints towards future sets.
