Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
While I suspect that the official version will go up to the front edge, rather than leaving a large amount of ‘yard’, this is precisely what I had in-mind (though it does need a third floor). Anything smaller than 64x32 would feel underscaled - Especially in comparison to Avengers Tower! -
LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

It is possible that the Mandos vs. Imps battle pack is a one-off rather than the beginning of a new trend; the Imperial Commandos only appeared in two episodes of Mando S3 (and were all defeated in the second episode), so LEGO may feel that both a Mando battle pack and an Imperial Commando pack would not sell as well as a single one with both factions would. Clones, Stormtroopers, Rebel Troopers, Droids, etc, have more appearances, so their popularity is such that individual packs will sell. -

There are a few different designs that they can use; the animated series version, or one of the designs from the movies (this or this). I would lean more towards the movie design in light of Avengers Tower being based more on Avengers than AoU, but this version might look too similar to Hogwarts for LEGO to go with it; the animated series design is sufficiently different from both Hogwarts and the natural history museum that I think it will be the one that LEGO chooses. I would go with 64x32, personally, as there needs to be space for the central hall and the wings on each side. -

Venomized Avengers Tower! With Venomized variants of all of the characters! -
That is the same pic that appeared in @Brick Clicker’s video yesterday.

I think they said that he was left out because he appeared in PoBB, but I am not sure of the source.

I agree about Ras’s master, but I think that Set distribution does not really mean anything, though; for Season 1, Ras and Rapton got three sets each, while Beatrix only got two. Additionally, while some of the sets are accurate (Beatrix’s mech vs. Jiro dragon), others are not (why are only Beatrix and Ras in the Temple of the Dragon Energy Cores, when the only member of Imperium to actually go there was Rapton?). Also, there are still the June sets for which we have neither descriptions nor Minifig lineups. There needs to be something to set the end of S2 apart from the end of S1 (having the Ninja fight a crazy woman with powers twice in a row would feel repetitive), and Jordana is far more redeemable than Beatrix (Beatrix recruited Ras to help assassinate her father in Ras’s flashback, so she was clearly always evil/ambitious!). Jordana is just jealous and petty, and she has not (yet) done anything irredeemably evil. Maybe

You misunderstood - I did not mean that I wanted a Classic Space design in place of the rainbow, but instead a CS-style frame around it (blue supports going up the sides, a bridge across the top with antennas, radar dishes, and lights, moon craters around the base of the model, etc).

Some catalogue excerpts regarding Spyrius: "The Spyruis agents steal a lot of hi-tech equipment from Ice Planet 2002. They hide it in secret places on Spyrius. The even have a spy on the Ice Planet. Only you can help Captain Magenta in his fight against the robots of Spyrius. / SPYRIUS The planet of spies. They steal satellites and rockets whenever they can get away with it. They hide the loot in secret places protected by robots, so the Space Police can't find it."

Since Rogue is yellow, I suspect that Cyclops will be as well. -

I feel like these are too "<insert that tiresome argument>" to return, unless it is used in Minidoll and 4+ sets. I can actually see us getting this back at some point, though as a 2x2x1 brick; also, we would need octagonal 2x2 plates and tiles in order for it to fit into the overall system. -

Friends uses different moulds for animals, but I can definitely see a goat yoga studio in a large City set (like the downtown set)! -

I feel like the difference between the cypress and the goat is that the cypress is an older style of tree that is largely being phased out in favour of brickbuilt trees (the only remaining classic tree is the small pine), and it does not have any obvious uses. The goat, conversely, can be included in any agriculture-based set. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I would suggest holding off until we see what else is coming in 2024, as the green Spacemen are around $25 each! 😬 I was thinking more of a MOC ‘remaster’ (like the Galaxy Explorer or Blacktron Cruiser) rather than a part-for-part remake. -

It seems like the Tower’s floors cannot be removed (unlike all prior Modulars, the Sanctum, and the Bugle); I am not sure how this is supposed to be moved or stored, then. 🫤 Also, Loki’s prison floor should have been Tony and Bruce’s lab from AoU.
