Good PPPs overall, but especially for the science lab! Also, do we know if the space explorers pack will be a Minifig set, or something else?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Classic_Spaceman replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That is exactly why I think that LEGO would do it - They can use the CMF budget to make a bunch of new head pieces that they will need for the theme, then keep reusing them in the regular sets. Also, the concept of adding characters to your customised world fits a CMF line well! -
That and probably lower supply than of other parts (but mostly price gouging). If we get axe Lions, I expect them to reuse the standard Lion legs, so I would not really consider them to be a new faction (even if they have axe shields, as we already have that part in the LKC). We are definitely getting at least one new shield print; making a shieldsmith rather than a generic blacksmith then not giving us new shields would be weird.

@Mondo-TRON was talking about the robot world roller coaster, I believe.
-
Ah, OK; I was confused because axe knights are just a variant of the Lions, not an entire faction unto themselves. That was my point - The GWP budget only allowed for one new print, but a Dragon Masters shield from the MTS could have been used if we were getting one. The Black Falcons and Lion Knights are currently at peace (see LKC instructions), and the Classic Castle era factions seem to be under the Lions’ rule (see LKC), so the shieldsmith has a number of safe options!

Looking at it this way, the fourth slot is pretty clearly a tiger cub rather than a baby red panda.- 5,877 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Why not? Mario has not gotten any Minifig sets yet, and Animal Crossing needs new head moulds that can be made with a CMF budget. That said, I do think that Fortnite is the more likely of the two options (and what I would personally like to see!). -
Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

That was her costume from the PG-13 Suicide Squad movie, though. IF we get Deadpool in the Mansion (a very big if!), he will be comic-based/ '97-based. -
If we were getting Dragon Masters in the MTS, we would probably have gotten their shield in the GWP; also, the faction is a weird choice for a realistic civilian setting. My guesses are either crossed-axe Lion Knights or Black Knights (one new torso shared between both guards (see prelim), also one set of new legs for both if we get Black Knights).

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Animal Crossing or Fortnite. -
The Royal Knights had the first Minifig king, so I doubt that he would be swapped for a female character; I was already thinking of the tavern keeper being female, however, and obviously half of the knights/guards/squires can be women as well. The additional few Minifigs can include noblewomen, and maybe the Black Knights’ leader can be a woman as well. Considering the inclusion of Easter egg shields in the LKC (and also presumably in the MTS, given the shieldsmith), I can see something like this appearing. If the set is large enough, we might even get cloth flags for each of the factions! I am thinking of this as being a ~$250 set, so we would probably only get 12-14 Minifigs. Also, we only really need a few footsoldiers in the set itself, since the parts would be up on PaB a few months after the set’s release.

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Classic_Spaceman replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Officers on the Death Star should have single-line ranks, not double-line ones. Also, LEGO has made 3R/3B Captains multiple times; a new (affordable!) one would be nice at some point, though. -
I feel like we will get Black Knights before 2026 (most likely year for a hypothetical tournament set), so maybe Royal Knights could appear instead? I can see around 12 Minifigs: Royal Knights King, Black Knights Lord, Royal Knights champion, Black Knights challenger, Royal Knights guard (2x), Royal Knights squire, Black Knights squire, stable boy, tavern keeper, and some miscellaneous nobles and peasants to fill out the audience.

There always are gaps in the initial leaks, so yes, we are likely to get more 2HY City sets. Same!

New short - Fugi-Dove lives!! Based on Riyu’s size, this obviously takes place after the mech shorts (though there seems to be an animation error near the end which shows Kai in his S1 outfit, despite his having his mech suit earlier in the short). It looks like the mech suits are the default outfits for the classic Ninja in S2 (Arin, Sora, and Wyldfyre have their S1 outfits still), and we get our first look at Zane in his. Overall, suit chronology in the sets is all over the place, so we will need to wait until the season drops to know what is canon and when it appears. My suspicion is that the mech suits are the new main outfits (they will just have them at the start of the season), and then we get the climber suits later in S2a; any tournament suits will probably show up in S2b, along with Lloyd’s Master robes (he probably gets them at the end of S2a or beginning of S2b). Also, I am now wondering if the 2024 Wyldfyre design is her version of the OG 6’s climber suits (which makes sense given that it appears in a set with climber Kai). 🤔

Agreed; the Wrecker armour piece would be a better choice if LEGO wants to make Ultron taller and bulkier. -

It has been a Firespray since the Legends days; that was not something made up for the show. It is really just a quirk of the live-action shows to call ships by their classes rather than specific names; Mando's Razor Crest and N-1 are unnamed, as is Luthan's Fondor Haulcraft (he only calls it "the Fondor"). -
