Maybe, but I am not sure that I see LEGO making a bunch of single-use alien heads for a set just to avoid some jokes. Additionally, having two Human SP1 officers (or a Human SP1 and a Human Blacktron I agent) would not suggest any xenophobia; that only makes sense for SP3, where all of the cops are Human and all of the criminals are aliens.

That was my point; I am glad that they are using a different time period instead of (necessarily) directly contradicting previous shows.

Neck piece? Are you talking about the mandibles? I think that those will be part of the head, not a separate jaw element.

Considering the time period, I assume that the rumoured Iron Fist will not be Danny Rand. More women in traditionally male-dominated fields (and higher regard for them) would lead to more female heroes popping up and an all-female team potentially developing. Also, without the HYDRA infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D. in this universe, characters like May, Mockingbird, and Quake would be more likely to join the main Avengers team. Overall, though, the main thing that makes me think that we will get A-Force in this universe is that they are setting up a female core for the Avengers (Peggy/Nat instead of Tony/Steve/Thor), which lets them build out more naturally than just a random team-up in Endgame.

I thought that there was a live-action Wakanda series being worked on; I have not heard of this! Not confirmation of A-Force, but the creator/writer of the series said this about Captain Carter’s universe: Since Captain Carter — a woman — ended WW2, the feminist movement occurred immediately after the war. This had a ripple effect across society leading to more female SHIELD agents, heroes, & women in positions of authority. (Check out the Strike Team at min 12)

This was probably the most LEGO-friendly episode yet! I can honestly see us getting another Hydra Stomper at some point, though I hope that it is smaller than the original was (the one in the show is closer in size to the $15 mechs!). BTW, did anyone else catch that the sound of the bullets hitting Peggy’s shield is the same effect as used in the Cap vs. mini gun scene in CA:TWS? Clever and fitting, IMO. Also, I wonder if we are building to an A-Force series with Captain Carter’s episodes; we have Peggy and Nat, Wasp is a founding Avenger, Carol/Monica is probably out there (she was absent from the Battle of New York in MCU-616 as well). 🤔

They did, but they also hinted at all pre-2000 factions, so I am not sure how much we can read into that. I do feel like Wolfpack and Black Knights are likely, however, since LEGO seems to like introducing new factions in each subsequent set (Blacksmith - Falcons; LKC - Lions, Forestmen, reused Falcons; MTS - ???).

That would explain the leaked Quicksilver torso, though I feel like the team shot from the first Avengers is more likely (as all necessary Minifigs exist).

76287 is definitely a mech; I am not seeing anything that would be the X-Mansion, unless 76286 is a prelim-style facade. 🫤

I wonder how LEGO will do the helmet; the TLBM armour piece would work, but it has long since been retired. The Mysterio fishbowl helmet is not accurate, but I could see them using it.

I am just hoping for a Sanctum-style Modular! As did I, but there are no descriptions for any of the BAM parts (beyond “New Pirate Torso”, etc). That said, a reuse of the existing parts is probably more likely. I agree! I was just speculating on how we could get axe knights, since I am not entirely convinced that they will be in the MTS (I think that LEGO would want to do a new faction for the set).

I just realised that the Sorting Hat was one of the sets from the survey; the prelim version is nearly identical to the finished set (the main difference that I can see is the construction of the eyebrows), which bodes quite well for the MTS! It does make me worry about the X-Mansion, though. . . 😐

Safe guesses would be Lions (or Falcons, though less likely) and Forestmen; Black Knights and Wolfpack are both likely possibilities for new factions, however. Dragon Masters, Royal Knights, Dark Forest, and Fright Knights are very unlikely IMO. If we do get more Lions, I can see us getting the crossed axe variant for a bit of variety. It did not; it only appeared on torsos prior to the LKC. If it does not appear in the MTS, maybe it will show up in BAM? We have gotten exclusive torsos before, and there will be Lion Knights' pieces in the January BAM lineup. 🤔
