  1. Maybe the set will dip into R1, and we get some Death Troopers (along with Krennic)?
  2. I do not want the Ravens to be restricted to CMFs, though - That is why they are so rare to begin with!
  3. I wonder if the runner-up will get made anyway at some point (as Space got a 90th Anniversary set along with Castle) - Ravens are a rare (expensive!) faction with a small-but-active fanbase, while Krakens have a unique heraldry and colour-scheme (and seafaring implications). They are absolutely the top two, so maybe one is in the prize machine and the other is a challenger in the Horse Knights’ Castle? I like the Griffins (they were my second pick after Ravens), but I think their colours will be too close to both the new Horse Knights and the Lion Knights for them to be made anytime soon (maybe they could appear in a Black Knights’ set in 2026 or 2028). I missed where he said we are getting five Minifigs - That is a significant improvement over the previous 3-in-1 (though the new one is a bit more expensive 🫤)! The new faction is said to be primarily red, with new horse heraldry. While I would much prefer to get moulded horses, Creator sets reuse pieces from animal builds in the secondary and tertiary models, so I can see the main castle getting (for instance) a white horse, while the B-model joust has a brown one as well that is made from parts of a tree in the A-model. Additionally, if the horses use the same design as the ones in the Yellow Castle (maybe with roof slopes as barding for the B-model, as the original joust set had), I will appreciate the homage. Correct - He says that the dragon box art castle is the A-model, a joust is the B-model, and a small market is the C-model; the new faction is primarily red and has horse heraldry. The shield in the box art looks like a red/yellow (or bright light orange) checkerboard, which is similar to this classic shield - Maybe we are getting that pattern as a base, with a horse over top? 🤔
  4. I hope that if Dedra has her overcoat, LEGO uses printed dual-moulded white/black legs! A regular uniform version would be more useful, though (so I hope they end up going this route). This is pure hopium, but I would really like to see the “Stormtroopers” turn out to be the (what are probably) CompForce troopers that we see in the trailer! We absolutely need a TIE Avenger in late 2026-2027! I am surprised that we are not getting one TBH, since TIEs sell regardless of the media they tie into.
  5. Kriff!! 😡 Does it at least include a droid?
  6. True. . . He could look like the CA:BNW Leader under there!! 🤮
  7. I think a combination of these two designs, but with the white City space helmet, would look the best - Solid legs (no black hips), black hands, either black or white airtanks (whichever makes the colours look more balanced), and white City space helmets.
  8. I actually prefer Enchantress’s MCU design, since her comics outfit is basically just a colour-swap of Scarlet Witch’s classic design; the only really notable aspect is the circle pattern on her legs, which the MCU version recreated while merging her with Lady Loki. I think that we could see Zemo in CMF form at some point (he briefly wears his classic mask in FatWS), and possibly also Kang in a CMF (as the Jonathan Majors case fades from the public consciousness); Abomination might appear in a diorama-style set (a Harlem battle with Hulk, Blonsky, a helicopter (with Ross and Betty), some debris/damaged buildings, and a car that can be ripped in half and attached to Hulk’s hands would actually be really cool!), and we could get a decent Taskmaster (with a bit of modification) if we ever get Thunderbolts* sets. Terrigen is actually harmless to regular people (non-Inhumans). This would really benefit the DC side of LEGO! Hopefully we get some battle or mech sets that pair thematically similar characters from the respective IPs - Something like Superman vs. Captain Marvel (OP cosmic entities), Doctor Strange vs. Doctor Fate (masters of the mystic arts), Thor vs. Wonder Woman (mythological figures), Iron Man vs. Cyborg (tech guys), Batman and Catwoman vs. Spider-Man and Black Cat (ultra-popular characters with feline-themed love interests), etc.
  9. Nice! Unfortunately, red binoculars are extremely rare. 🫤
  10. I can definitely see a line of sets based on the live-action show, an 18+ Appa with animated character designs (similar to what we are getting for One Piece), and a CMF for minor characters and LoK! There is a massive amount of potential in the IP, it is extremely popular, and FOLs have been demanding sets for ATLA for years, so it would be foolish of LEGO not to do something in the coming years (especially since they have a deal with Netflix now!).
  11. I have not gotten it yet, but I plan to, and I also plan to add some guns - The Overwatch pistols, ADU blasters, TLM/JW rifles, and stud-shooters all would provide appropriate weaponry without looking out-of-place alongside the LEGO renditions of the characters!
  12. I am honestly surprised that we have not gotten a Thanoscopter in a 4+ set - It makes as much sense as anything else LEGO has done, and adults would buy it for the meme! Hopefully Thunderbolts* will perform well, and we get a couple of sets for it in 2026/2027. It would have been nice if the jet included some firing missiles and pop-off wings, though - Both can be justified in a battle with Red Hulk, and they would allow for more ways to recreate the actual scene. I also wish that we had gotten the Leader (ideally instead of Ruth/Sabra), since he is the only character who we are missing (and who cannot be cobbled together from existing parts), and since his appearance would have been based on concept art. 🫤
  13. In addition to the Netflix live-action ATLA remake, there is a new two-season series in the works called Avatar: Seven Havens, which takes place after TLoK and is planned for release sometime after the Avatar movie (bringing back the OG Team Avatar!), which is currently scheduled for 2026. Bottom line: There is plenty of ATLA material either already out or planned for release in the coming years, so this would be a very good time for LEGO to negotiate the license!
  14. It makes sense, though - The Battle Bus is essential for any Fortnite fan! It also is the only Minifig set that we got in the first wave, and (some of) the other sets can be extended if they sell well.
  15. This torso (specifically the reverse) works decently for Barada; as for the bandana, you will just have to go with red if you want to stay purist. 🫤
  16. That role actually is Unitron’s! They did not have much lore, but what is available characterised them as a surveillance and counterintelligence organisation.
  17. I think that switching the crossbeam to black looks good (and I do not mind some of the ‘splotches’ of yellow, as it gives the impression of caution stripes), but the yellow around the cockpit needs to stay - Without it, the nose looks like an unsightly stack of black plates, and the canopy blends into the rest of the ship too much. The issue with the crossbeam, however, is that while black is more consistent with Blacktron I’s original colour balance, it also makes the structural features of the ship blend into a black blob; yellow is a bit too bright, but it gives the ship more definition. The real issue here is that Blacktron I only used two solid colours (black and yellow), which restricts what can be done to create visual contrast (without deviating and using dark grey, for instance). Nice! I look forward to seeing if this designer does a Renegade-compatible version of the Invader’s cargo section as well! I am personally planning to just modify the Invader’s existing modules to be compatible with the Renegade (sizing the Invader up a bit in the process), so this is a good starting point for me to figure out how to do that!
  18. The only ways that a $50 Turbo Tank could be “worth it” for the Minifigs is if it is based on R1/TBB/Mando (to a lesser extent) - A regular RotS one would just have Yoda, Luminara, Gree, and a 41st Clone Scout Trooper as Minifig options. 🫤 Not at 7+. It is unlikely, but a Gelegrub would be a great battle pack build! It is actually Canon, and it is something other than a grey or white/red vehicle. No kriffing way - LEGO does not count droids towards the overall number of Minifigs anymore, so this would be a $150 set with only two proper Minifigs! This is particularly strange given the CIS colours, as a large TCW set without (or without many) Clones is very unlike LEGO; at least if it were TPM I could somewhat understand it (though two Minifigs is still too low!).
  19. I think that the Kingdoms and Castle 2013 Lion factions becoming the Redcoats and Bluecoats respectively makes more sense - Both of these factions had kings, so they represented the ruling faction of an entire nation (while the classic faction era of Castle seemed to have smaller houses/domains that cycled between times of peace and conflict), and the colours line up better. This is exactly my headcanon as well. Space Port and City space subthemes (prior to 2024) have real-world equipment and are primarily focused on near-Earth exploration; 2019 was an early manned expedition to Mars, and 2022 was the first permanent settlement on another world (which is why the mission patch goes on to be the main logo for exploratory Space factions). CS ‘24-‘25 is more difficult to place in the timeline, because though it is obviously after all prior Town/City space subthemes, it is difficult to determine where it fits with regard to Mars Mission and Galaxy Squad (I do think that LoM and AQ take place before MM, GS, and CS ‘24-‘25, however). I think that there is not really a parallel evolution of military and exploratory entities, but instead that military/law-enforcement factions are developed as the need arises. Most factions are broadly focused on exploration and resource extraction, while the few militaristic factions always have a direct enemy (SP1 vs. Blacktron I, SP2 vs. Blacktron II, Unitron vs. Spyrius, ADU vs. Aliens, Galaxy Squad vs. Buggoids, SP3 vs. Black Hole Gang). Mars Mission was originally just an exploratory/mining faction until the aliens attacked, at which point the MM faction started acquiring designated combat vehicles and more powerful weaponry (earlier waves of MM show mining vehicles with makeshift weapons strapped to them, while later waves have proper military hardware).
  20. I think that Circe is appearing in Paradise Lost, which we will presumably get sets for if the DCU performs well.
  21. Looks like City is one of the themes that still gets advent calendars! BTW, do we know if there will be any additional Arctic and/or exploration sets? 60469 seems likely to be Arctic, given the proximity to ‘70 and ‘71 (both Arctic as well). Interesting - 60457 (489 Pcs.), perhaps? It seems like LEGO has committed to the modular customisable car system, which is nice, and a police garage is a new concept! Maybe something like 60389, but with only one car? 🤔
  22. Exactly! The designer really amplified the elements that made the OG Renegade unique, rather than fighting against them to make a sleek fighter craft. I am looking forward to seeing how the ship looks next to the Galaxy Explorer, since I think that the brutalist, industrial, aesthetic will contrast very nicely with the sleek, sexy, lines of the GE! As an aside, my headcanon for this version of the Renegade is that it is a stolen M:Tron dropship/transport design, which Blacktron stripped down to the bare bones for increased speed, firepower, manoeuvrability, and a lower sensor profile. The original M:Tron version of the ship would have had two cockpits, a covered cargo hold, and larger wings that extend into the cockpits (the little winglets on the cockpit are the remnants of where the main wings would have connected); Blacktron stripped off as much hull plating as they could without compromising structural integrity (leaving the power cells exposed!), ditched the second cockpit in favour of an enhanced sensor array, and added weapons and little recon drones to the wings. I can even see there having been a small living space between the pylons (behind the cockpit attachments), or at least the option to add something there, that Blacktron either could not retain with the modifications that they had made to the ship, or chose to exclude to make the whole thing lighter, faster, and meaner!
  23. Yep, this^^ I would recommend using Technic plates, 2x2 round bricks with axle hole, and a Technic axle-pin combo piece instead - Attaching pods to the ring station with inverted 2x2’s will inevitably break just from gravity!! 😬
  24. I agree that we will see Plo in a larger set, though I am not about him being in the MTT. That said, maybe we will get him, Wolffe, and some Wolfpack Troopers, since the only other obvious place to get them would be in a Plo’s Bros LAAT/i (or Plo and Wolffe in a JSF, alongside a 104th battle pack). Fair, but 2017 was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, and LEGO has since stopped making Microfighter-exclusive Minifigs. Regardless of which arc the MTT is based on, I hope we get these two! I suspect that we will get a Juggernaut in 2026 (probably Kashyyyk-based, with Yoda, Luminara, and Gree). We need Neyo and Gree (2020 style), as well. Plo Koon’s starfighter is on the ARC-170’s box art (despite the Battle of Coruscant being a more fitting backdrop given the Minifigs), so LEGO is definitely embracing the darkness! 😈
  25. I think that Maxwell Lord is financing the JSA (as he did the JL in his earlier comic appearances). No, though it seems that the movie will be focused on how Superman fits into the modern world and the current superhero-saturated media landscape. Based on set photos and the trailer, we see Superman at odds with both the corporate-sponsored JSA (Mr. Terrific, Hawkgirl, Guy Gardner) and the government-sponsored (and Flagg Sr.-lead) Authority (Ultraman(?), the Engineer); I suspect that the JSA will be quippy showoffs (MCU stand-in) while the Authority are cynical, dark-and-gritty, and overly-serious (Snyderverse stand-in). Superman will engage with both groups, then carve out his own space within the superhero landscape - Both for himself in the context of the film universe, and the DCU as a franchise. Considering how he looks as Clark Kent, I think that this is definitely the idea - The movie seems to be leaning more into the Human side of Superman (especially with the inclusion of Krypto!), rather than the aloof godlike portrayal from the Snyderverse.
