LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

Hopefully, we will get the Onyx Cinder’s interior ship at some point, which would also be a logical set for SM-33 to be included. -
Lego City 2026, Leaks, Rumours and Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Izzynufc-2's topic in LEGO Town
Probably not until 2HY, but I expect that we will get a dump truck for the construction line (and maybe a loader or backhoe); we also need a new police station (since they changed the style/colour-scheme of the police line). More Great Vehicles (public transit, cargo transportation, cars, recreation, etc) are a lock, and a standalone fire truck is likely. I can also see a standalone police car with a more traditional design, and a garage to go with this year’s tow truck. I definitely want to see more Space (obviously!), as well as more exploration sets (ideally a new environment (maybe savannah, with tan as the accent colour?), and a couple more jungle sets in 2HY). I also think that we are getting a new underwater/divers subtheme, considering the sub with new trident logo that is included in the weird modular vehicle set. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Classic_Spaceman replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Griffin shield in the BDP palette? While BDP has had some odd inclusions in the past (such as the unprinted PDG breastplates), the parts used there are generally also available on PAB, so the LoZ shield may not be IP-locked! BTW, are the plain PDG breastplates still there, or were they removed as well? I assume that this is just because the Creator castle has not released yet, while the prize machine is already out; Honse and Snek parts will probably be added to palette 10 (whenever that drops). -

Oh, I completely agree! If this were a CMF, I would appreciate the added detailing, but taking a print slot in a set that is already low on unique Minifig parts is disappointing. This is probably just coping, but my hope is that they printed the jumpsuit legs so that Killer Croc can be shirtless (since plain orange legs might look odd in that case). -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I still need to order one, but I am thinking of using the blue astronaut torso from the 2019 City space people pack with light blue/dark blue dual-moulded legs (currently available on PAB). -

TIL about this concept art (link here)! That first shot is just begging for a two-faction battle pack (or two separate packs, but that feels less likely)! We also still need a New Republic pack (regular NR troopers, pilot, officer), as well as one with Morgan’s mercs and HK droids (though I admit that the latter is probably not happening at this point 🫤). I am not sure we can take that image as confirmation that Ezra will be flying an A-wing specifically, since hangars in S1 featured a mix of ships (both A-wings and X-wings are present during Baylan and Shin’s arrival scene). That said, it is probably likely, since A-wings are the quintessential Rebels fighter (so it would make sense as a callback, similar to Sabine’s painted 614-AvA in S1). The Juggernaut really feels like a gutted midi-scale set. I would honestly have preferred to get a midi-scale CTT with exclusive Bacara and Mundi ‘figs, and saved the Galactic Marines for a super battle pack in 2026 (which would also potentially have allowed for a new pauldron mould with stud on the back (usable for Galactic Marines and ARC Troopers) to be made). 🫤 -

I know that @Renown’s hint was referencing the escape pod GWP, but I do really hope that we get a TCW Slave I with Aurra Sing, Hondo, Ponds, etc! Technically it is three Clones, if you swap out Boba’s hair. I actually like this GWP, since it makes the most of the printing limitations (all three Minifigs will have the same new torso), and it finally gives us Clone cadets! Most likely, both since it works (all Clones have the same face), and because GWPs are limited in the number of new prompts that can be included. First, there would be riots if that happened, and second, she needs too many new prints and recolours to appear in a GWP. Range Troopers were already confirmed for S2 a while back, but this is our first look at Occupiers! Cocoa Puffs, not Corn Flakes! 😠 -

OK - Thanks for clarifying! 👍 I am going to guess that changes to Lucasfilm’s plans or Disney leadership (ToD merch was made, and then pulled, as CEOs changed) are responsible for Indy not returning, but also because of TGC (and possible future projects) the theme is not 100% dead. -

We need a DS1 briefing room diorama set (quote: “I find your lack of faith disturbing”), with at least Tarkin, Vader, Motti, Tagge, Yularen, Bast, Romodi, and two Navy Troopers! Siward Cass and Trech Molock would also be nice (and would realistically only need new torso prints), but they have far less prominence than the other members of the Joint Chiefs. We got 501st and 212th at the same time, along with a Macrobinoculars helmet attachment - We have enough material for plenty of Clone casualties! 😈 Jango too! Boba should have a sand blue tunic and pants (with dual-moulded sand blue/black legs and lavender arms) with his old hairpiece, while Jango should have lavender arms and legs (maybe even lavender/flat silver dual-moulded legs, to better represent his shin and boot armour). Also, as much as I appreciate the new rangefinder piece, we really needed a new jetpack mould for Jango (that can be reused for Boba) with a proper rocket. -

Four or five out of six being true makes me inclined to believe that all of the leaks are true (or at least were at the time - Maybe TDoD’s lacklustre reception caused a change in plans?). I thought were getting an Endor MBS, with the $1,000 Death Star being a separate UCS set. Also, until we hear about RotJ-only characters appearing in the set, I will assume that it is the DS1. -

I doubt that we will see across-the-board price increases as a result of new licenses; licensed themes need to be profitable on their own (not subsidised by other themes) for LEGO to justify making them! City sets are still decently-priced, and Ninjago occupies the entire range of price-points. I do agree that LEGO is moving more towards AFOLs and adult consumers in general, but (aside from the prices!) I am OK with that - LEGO tried to appeal more to kids via app connectivity in sets, which did not work (and cost us good themes like Hidden Side and VIDIYO when the apps bombed), and the levels of detail that fans demand now are not conducive to cheap sets. -

The latest news (Pokémon theme in 2026) basically confirms that Indy will return at some point - TandNbricks posted a list of “leaks” on April Fools’ Day last year, and now IJ returning is the only one to not be confirmed as true (as of right now, anyway). It seems the joke was that they are all true! The full list: 1. Simpsons will return - True! 2. Horizon isn’t a one off - True! 3. LOTR returns in 2025 - True! 4. Pokémon is coming - True! 5. Endor is the next Master Builder Series set - True! 6. Indiana Jones will return - TBD -

A Krennic mech vs Tarkin mech set!! -
Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
True, but that set had six “changes” (Batman’s torso, Supergirl’s head and torso, and Flash’s cowl, head, and torso), so it was probably cheaper to recolour an existing mould than to recreate an old one (which would probably be solid plastic and dual-moulded by modern part standards). Additionally, cancelled Flash’s cowl in the movie had fairly flat sides, so the lightning bolts on the comic-based part would have stuck out too much - The Justice League cowl piece would have been the most accurate option, but again, that would have required reviving an old mould. By the time LEGO gets around to making classic comic-based Avengers, we will probably have gotten a Flash mech with a comics cowl that can be reused for Cap. -

Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think that Cap Minifig was based on the Avengers game’s “Ultimate Patriot” skin, rather than the Marvel NOW design (they are basically the same design, with the game taking the design from the comics, though), given the game inspiration for Marvel sets during that time period (character designs, AIM agents, etc); we also got a game-inspired Thor, with the Ragnarok helmet. Ironically, we never got Kamala, despite her being the main character of the game! I suspect that a classic comics Cap would reuse the Flash’s cowl (if such a piece is in production when LEGO makes a classic Avengers lineup). Unless the Mansion absolutely flops, we are almost certainly getting a couple of sets for ‘97 S2 (given the show’s positive reception)! Maybe a Stratojet (from the latter part of S1), a Sentinel, a smaller motorcycle set for Wolverine, and something large with Apocalypse? New Minifigs should include Jubilee, Nightcrawler, Cable, Forge, Morph, and Sunspot. -

Dedra’s hat-hair combo looks excellent (and was long overdue!), and I hope to see it reappear in other sets! I am disappointed that her legs are not dual-moulded, however - I will just swap them for plain white/black legs, since the moulding suggests the lower portion of the coat anyway. Also, with her torso not showing a rank, it is easily reused for any ISB officer (I do want a regular ISB uniform torso, though)! K2 looks great, and the CompForce trooper seems accurate from what is visible (I do wish that we were getting a second CompForce trooper, though). The U-wing itself is decent, but far too small; $70 is not a terrible price, though, despite the fact that the ship should be around $150-sized. I just thought of something - Could the three-character/Minifig May the Fourth GWP be for Andor? A small ISB briefing room with Partagaz (reused trenchcoat torso), Dedra Meero (new torso, standard uniform), and Supervisor Blevin (same torso as Dedra) would be able to make the most of the GWP printing restrictions, and would be extremely popular! -

Gaston’s torso would make an excellent classic Red Arrow - Just add a red quiver, red bow (CMF Cupid), and maybe some dual-moulded red/yellow legs! -
The CS tic-tac-toe is still available, I think. Personally, I want both - The Classic Spacebabies are cute, and more Classic Spacemen/CS vehicles are always a good thing!

The V-19 is not terrible, but the 327th battle pack is $10 overpriced! They really should have increased by $5 so that we would justify it as an additional expense for the Clones’ pauldrons; going up by $10 just feels like gouging! 😐 Ideally we get three packs - $20 (four Minifigs and a pile of parts), $30 (four Minifigs, 4-6 droids, and a couple substantial builds), and $40-$45 (six Minifigs and some decently-sized/detailed builds).
