  1. Yesterday, the annual Toy Fair in Nuremberg/Germany started. See this press release dealing with "toys for kidults": https://www.spielwarenmesse.de/fileadmin/SWM_Dateien/PDF/Presse/Pressemappe/Press_Release_Spielwarenmesse_2026_Toys_for_Kidults_en.pdf Quote (bold by me): So almost one third of the toy market is for (young) adults.
  2. You're right. It's in set 11202 (in tan). I totally missed that. And it's on PaB for 3,07 € ...
  3. Seems we get a new 5w 6w piece (I have to correct myself, I counted wrong) to fit two minifig seats - like the classic Adventurers' cockpit piece. Lets see if we can use it for Adventurers' vehicles.
  4. I share your thoughts. The walls and towers seem to be too small for proper minifig scale.
  5. Just regocnized it today: Modern Johnny Thunder from set 60470 and the soapbox racer girl from set 60459 are basically the same minifig as both use the same torso (except of the colour of the hands) and legs:
  6. Some EOL parts have reduced prices now: https://www.stonewars.de/news/end-of-life-lego-pick-a-brick-2025-update/
  7. @King_of_Lomadia I like all of your factions and the lore you gave them. Great job!
  8. (I have posted this MOC earlier but I did some modifications and improvements recently.) This is a paleontological research site set up by Johnny Thunder and his friends to dig for fossils and to examine them in situ. The MOC is intended as an expansion either for the jungle or the dino island subtheme (I prefer it for the jungle subtheme as I not very keen of living dinos). I put the MOC on this green 24x24 brick as a base. And yes, I cut an 8x8 hole in it for the digging site. I'm a LEGO purist but I've no problem with cutting bricks and pieces as I need it. I hope you like it. As always, critics and comments are very welcome.
  9. Thank you as always! Well, I can see myself building 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or even more of those section ... Yes, I will add it. But I'm rebricking it and still missing some parts. One or two more BL orders necessary.
  10. As @Slegengr and @Jack Sassy pointed out - the whole thing needed proper walls. Based on 8x16 base plates in light gray I built two moduls, one with a wall segment and one with the watch tower. The moduls can be attached directly to the Dragon Fortress by a very short wall segment. As both moduls have the same shape on both ends they can be arranged in any way. I plan to build a third modul with a dock for the Emporer's Ship (set 7416) but I need to get the part on BL first. You can expand this system as you like to create a whole landscape. I hope you like it. Critics and comments are very welcome.
  11. Yes, definitely very good! I'm looking forward to get the parts and try some ideas I alreday have. I'll post some photos ...
  12. Thanks for your review. It's a nice set but I'm not sure yet if I'll buy it. Perhaps I'll rebrick it in a more classic pirates style.
  13. Hm, perhaps I'll give it a try and draw a second pocket. But I'm not good in drawing/sketching ...
  14. Mini feather in dark azure from set 77037 is available on PaB (at least here in Germany).
  15. They look really cool!
  16. Some fierce tribal warriors ... Well, it's not really a figbarf because these are only two minifigs. I used the head of the SW Nikto from set 75346 and some other parts in mediums nougat to make these figures (i.e. the legs are from Ninjago). Unfortunately the torsos are plain as I don't have better (printed) torso yet.
  17. @Feuer ZugThank you very much! @SlegengrThank you so much for your detailed feedback. You have a good view for the details of the tower. Those three upper levels with a height of seven bricks and one plate each (according to the Dragon Fortress) made the tower in the end higher than the Dragon Fortress itself. You can see that I skipped the row with the sand green bricks in the upper level to reduce its height at least a bit. Yes, I love to fill those empty spaces in classic sets. And I think this tree looks a bit like an oversized bonsai. You made me spent money on BL. I ordered two of those printed panels, two 8x16 light gray baseplates and some of those inverted 2x1x3 slopes (Part ID 2449). I will place the watch tower on one of those baseplates (instead of the 8x16 brick it stands on) and use the other baseplate to build a connecting wall segment between the Dragon Fortress and the watch tower. Thank you for your tipp! That's my style of MOCing - building extensions for the original Adventurers' sets. I love it! Thanks again for your thoughts!
  18. Thanks! But is there a 2x10 or 2x12 plate running beneath from the front to the rear? I think I don't have those spoked wheels in black yet. Have to get some from BL.
  19. I tried the green torso from BAM September 2025 on Gail Storm. From left to right: Gail Storm in her original jungle outfit. Gail Storm with the green BAM torso, but all unneccessary prints removed (with an eraser) Gail Storm with the green BAM torso with all its original prints I think it came out very well. What do you think?
  20. @Murdoch17Wow, that looks really cool. I like the dark and blocky, yet streamlined look. Those mudguards fit perfectly to give a somewhat aggressive apperance. Very well done! As black hides many details - may I ask what‘s the base of the car? A 2 by x or a 4 by x plate? The minifig is awesome, too. N.B. Isn‘t there a „s“ missing in the thread title after „Sinister‘“?
