LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I agree about the rehashes part. Considering that the police station is at least 100 bricks less than the last one, I'm looking at $79.99. Not $99.99. -

I wouldn't trust those prices. I think we should wait until the actual prices come out. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Freak out if I were to recommend the Playboy Mansion, which I won't. Its not like casinos have to portray violence anyway. It could be the place where people in the Lego universe hit the numbers. That's it! -

The fun of a 16+ set is that you can go as far as you'd like without referencing anything R or X rated. Thus why Simpsons, F*R*I*E*N*D*S, Modulars and even Star Wars if you want to count them in exist/existed within Lego at some point. These are not sets geard at kids and as for the first two, not even kid friendly. -

I honestly don't know. -
I don't think it would be time for trains to come out again until 2022. But I would like to see a freight depot though and some loose train cars.

Oh yeah. What episode was that again? ....and what do you think of my other ideas? Do you think it's a great wave?

Toy Story Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Driver Brandon Grumman's topic in LEGO Licensed
That is exactly what I do with my builds. In my City, Woody and Jessie have a horseback riding program and Buzz works at the space research center as an astronaut trainer. I also agree that the new torsos are better. That's understandable. So if you're going to make s Disney world then you'd need the taller Woody. He'd be like a mascot. -
Yeah! Lawnmower Racing sounded too outlandish. So I decided to do a hauler instead.

WUT!!!! Modulars aren't for kids dude. Look on the boxes and you'll see that the age is 16 and up. -

@Modeltrainman @Gorilla94 I guess I like the newer ones because I can fit them in my city better. The older ones were cool and all, but Woody and Jessie were too tall. -
That looks amazing!

Yupp! It's the one in the link. I guess Lego pretty much knows what they're doing. They don't really need us to tell them what to do. I guess that means the Ideas for New City Sets page should be closed. -
I thought since I haven't seen any threads on this, I'd start one. I wonder if I'm the only one who prefers the current Toy Story minifigures over the older ones.

It's a pity that this thread is closed and Lego doesn't need our help with City themes anymore. https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/19294-tlg-wants-your-ideas-suggestions-for-city-themes/ -
REVIEW: 4855 Spider-Man's Train Rescue
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
That set was amazing. I loved how it had an actual working train car too.......with seating for passengers. I was able to use it eith my regular Lego trains and make a small rapid transit service in my town. If it had couplings though, I would put some extra cars. The other one I liked from classic Spider Man was that ambulance set. So with that being said, I'd say it was Train-Tacular. -

How do you know? The first City Pizza restaurant was painted light green. I also said a pizza car. Not a skateboard. It could fit City too. Pizzerias don't have to look a certain way to make nods. I was just saying that in terms of the minifigs. And plus, Hidden Side would make it look too weird. So no. -

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
In my opinion, the town subtheme of City should be limited strictly to playable buildings (like the hospital was) and the mega sets. The other subthemes can emphasize vehicles as much as they want to. Send less popular City subjects to the town subtheme. What I would like to see for 2020 is a pizzeria with a little pizza car and 3 minifigures that make a nod to Pepper, Mama and Papa Brickolini from the Lego Island franchise. -
Here are two that I'd buy if Lego made them. This is the Subaru Impreza 22B STI. It was made to celebrate Subaru's 40th anniversary and 3rd manufacturer title in the WRC. This is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6 Tommi Makinen Edition. It was named after Finnish rally driver Tommi Makinen, who had won Mitsubishi four WRC championships.
