  1. So to answer the question of this thread, City will NEVER be cancelled. But I do forsee City only putting its focus on vehicles. I wouldn't mind that tbh. Children probably wouldn't mind that either considering that vehicles are what help the theme.
  2. Whoa! That looks outstanding. It's way different but better.
  3. Ugh! Looks like we're only getting one town set this year.
  4. How about some more focus on the transport industry for City in 2021 aye? They've started the new decade off good so far with that with Airport and Turbo Wheels. OK I GET IT!!!!! We've got a garage and a service station this year. I just mean the transport industry in general. Not anything in particular. This may even be a chance to introduce some new characters for Lego City Adventures.
  5. Probably the same color as past airport sets with the airport sign.
  6. That is true. I would often have to put rulers around my parts so that I could apply the stickers properly.
  7. I don't think the sticker issue is a big deal like most people make it out to be. While I have had that issue of not applying them straight, it hardly happens and I have never had the issue of them rotting or falling off. Then again, I keep my builds clean. Though I do have to admit that I would prefer printed pieces.
  8. Really? They could? And to think I had faith in the company's sales data.
  9. Aye! Someone has to make peace around here.
  10. Personally, I wouldn't mind of all City sets had printed pieces instead of stickers. Though I do understand why they won't do that. That way, I'd have a choice between whether I want to apply them or not.
  11. C'mon guys! Let's be civil here! Whether its 5%, 10%, or even 50% that AFOLs make up, what matters is that Lego cares about us. Now let's all be cool.
  12. On another note, it seems like people have gotten what they wanted after all. All of the $10 sets for City use printed pieces instead of stickers. They should make a 7+ version of that. It'll probably go for the same price as the Coast Guard Headquarters from 2017.
  13. You're not disappointing anyone. It could still be made into a full air terminal.
  14. How do you know its not going to happen? The $50 airport set could have more focus on the building with the airplane playing a supporting role. The big airplane is separate and I'm going to assume that it's going to include some kind of tower. Put those two together and you've got an airport. Then there is the plane race.
  15. Nex for me. His animal powers fit me perfectly.
  16. On another note, I found an awesome eBay deal on the new 2020 police station for $60. Just purchased it.
  17. @Digger of Bricks @Lego David I never thought I'd meet some other Hero Factory fans. Who was your favorite character?
  18. I agree 100%. You must understand though that vehicles are what keep the City theme alive, especially vehicles centered around first responders. I wish more focus was put on the transport industry though - since vehicles is obviously a thing with City. Airport is coming so hopefully that changes. I have my doubts though since City is almost always only known for their sets centered around rescuing, exploring and discovery. So the most focus we'll probably get on the transport industry would probably be trains, airport or some sets under town or great vehicles. Well.....it is called ocean exploration. We'll get some submarines according to the official list though.
  19. That's why I proposed a spinoff of City called City 13+, which would focus more on buildings with some vehicles.
  20. Probably fake. But if it's real, I'll buy.
  21. I'd love to see a haunted garage with ghost mechanics using their wrenches and drills as weapons. They chase the crew with ghost vehicles too.
  22. New subtheme anyone? Subtheme Idea: News News Station - Includes TV6+ news station building, drone and Gabby DeCamera from Lego City Adventures Aerial Traffic Unit - Includes TV6+ chopper, green 6 stud wide sports car and police car. Also includes Tippy the Evil Doorman and Duke DeTain from Lego City Adventures Mobile News Command Center - includes mobile news center truck and announcement stage. Also includes Mayor Solomon Fleck, Mary Sinclair and Gabby DeCamera from Lego City Adventures. New Characters Introduced: Stormi McCloud - the city meteorologist. She's also Freya McCloud's cousin. Will Badminton - the sports reporter for TV6+. Clayton Rushower - the traffic reporter for TV6+.
