OMG! That's exactly what they do at the three Lego stores near me. -

Ok.....so who's saying what? I'm confused now! -
I'd definately still hope for a news station set. It may not sell well, but I'd buy if one hits the shelves.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I actually like the drones. When coast guard comes back next year, I hope to see one with the main headquarters. Coast Guard comes out every four years (2009, 2013, 2017) so it should be back next year in 2021. -

Ninjago is supposed to be a theme about battling. That's why. It's not supposed to be a vehicle based theme. -

If I had enough bricks, I'd build my own buildings. Honestly, I think to cut down on arguments over City - it would be best to focus mostly on vehicles. Most of the time, the arguments come from the amount of buildings on whether there is enough or not. Such as too many police stations or fire stations (which tbh, Id have to agree) If we eliminate the buildings from City, then no one wins....and a lot of times, when no one wins, more people are happy. -

@Toastie Well.....I better get your opinion anyway. Do you see Lego City taking a break from buildings for a wave or two to focus on vehicles and people packs? -

Yo! You wouldn't believe it but the Lego store was desolate of Sky Police. They was like "We stopped selling those since the beginning of this month!". It was obviously something Lego wanted to forget ever existed thus why they were on the "Retiring Soon" list back in December. A little too early to retire those sets, aye? Personally, considering that Lego is a billion dollar company, I think City could do without a police wave for one year. But if they absolutely had to do one every year, I would've chose a less outlandish path such as Highway Patrol which would center mostly around road car chases or State Troopers, which would take place in the suburbs. I was able to get the sports car by itself. Same with the hotel, museum and the crane. You're probably surprised that I didn't get the bus, but I just never liked Lego City buses in red. I'm actually waiting for the bank from the monster truck heist to show up on eBay so I can get it. Don't need the monster truck. But the van could be useful. Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised (or angry, amazingly) if City were to take a break from buildings for a wave or two and focus strictly on vehicles and people packs. I say the latter from my account taking as it does seem that year after year, buildings are becoming either less common or less detailed. This year's police station, service station and bank are examples of that. But hey! More modifying for me. -

I agree with everything said here. Btw, @Toastie, do you work for Lego? You referred to Lego as your career. So I thought I'd ask. -

Oh! My bad. But yeah though, too much people tearing down each other's ideas. I personally don't do that as that annoys me when people do it to me. I think any idea that has potential is a good idea these days. Especially with my favorite theme, City. -

@TeriXeri City is the most popular theme in Lego and vehicles sell (mostly first responders). That's prolly why. I think they do it that way so that we could get less popular city matter like the hotel or museum. Though the bus, sports car and mobile crane would've in fact done even better as great vehicles. -

@Masked Mini I am an AFOL. Just because I love City, doesn't mean I'm a child. I'll admit, I am abrasive a lot. But that's only because of what @TeriXeri said down here. -

I agree 100%. That explains why people here don't care what Lego releases. I care because I buy sets to build what is on the box and do mods as I see fit. I don't buy them for the parts. If I need separate parts, that's what Classic, Pick-A-Brick and Bricklink are for. -
@Chromeknight You weren't harsh. That was just sarcasm I was doing. However, I personally think push along play makes more playability than remote control. But that's something we'll have to agree to disagree on.

Recently, after looking closely, Friends seems to be more geared towards teenage girls than little girls. I just look at the overall plot of the theme as it mostly centers around things that teenage girls love to do than little girls in their single digits. Things such as going out to eat, shopping, driving, horseback riding. Things like that. -
Of course people don't agree on my ideas. They never do. Not on Eurobricks!

2020 Trains sets - Rumours and discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Train Tech
A city monorail set? Wow! Personally, I think the unknown D2C set is a mega set. But I could be wrong! -
From the next City train wave onwards, trains should be non-motorized by default. Cheaper and they'll sell better than they do now. Motorizing equipment should be made separately.

I'd like some generic sets for AFOLs too! That's why I recommended City 13+ or Teen Friends, which are spin offs of City and Friends.
