  1. I agree! I'm not the biggest fan of BWBA either. My favorite seasons of the CGI era are 17 to 21. @ShaydDeGrai On another note...so that's true! Tests do have to be done on the children. Well it would make sense. I can attest to that.
  2. Oh dear! The "personal attack" card again! I'm going to say this and I hope I never have to say this again. Stop playing that card just because someone is frustrated over the fact that they can't get you to understand why Lego won't do certain themes again. Its annoying and pretty irrelevant. No one is even angry here. But a little word of wisdom: You can't provoke someone to frustration and then act like they are the ones in the wrong.
  3. Exactly! HEY!!!! I bring up points that are just as good as everyone else's on this forum. If certain scenarios are already being covered with a substantial amount of sets, I just don't think its necessary to beg for more or to have more on top of those until they have been killed off. Why do you think I say what I say about certain City sets? All the same, I think I'm done here.
  4. @leafan We have to keep what we want within reason. Look at my posts about City sets. I know my ideas on how to improve the theme and subtheme ideas for the theme will most likely not happen. But they are still within reason. Asking Lego to revive a dead theme when children have plenty of similar themes, if not better ones to play with, isn't a reasonable wish.
  5. Subtheme Idea: Medical ? Air Lift - Includes ambulance helicopter and crashed civilian car Medicine Transport - Includes medicine transport plane Mobile Medical Center - Includes rig, mobile medical trailer with treatment area and warning signs Ambulance Helicopter Transport - Includes pull string ambulance helicopter and transport truck Hospital - includes hospital building with easy to remove levels, ambulance and drone New Characters Introduced: Andrew McStitch - the chief medical practitioner of the city hospital. Victoria Needleman - a registered nurse. Amber Lance - a local paramedic.
  6. @Lego David Listen buddy..... Its general common sense. We won't always get what we want. Sometimes, Lego doesn't even see the point in making certain things so they don't. Even though we think its worth it. Lego does things we don't like all the time. Just live with it.
  7. Because Star Wars has a story behind it. Its also a well known franchise and extremely popular. Not just among KFOLs and TFOLs, but also AFOLs as well. That's why it sells. Classic Space didn't suck, but it didn't have any of the traits that Star Wars has besides the fact that they are both science fiction.
  8. I'm glad someone agrees with me there. The space sets that we get from City satisfy me enough to where I'm not even worried about classic space. Deep Sea Divers also gave me some closure on the state of pirates.....dead. Now we just need a Forest Exploration subtheme to let us know where the castle sets is. In other words, classic space, pirates and castle aren't coming back.
  9. The current seasons are trash to me. Classic era (S1 to S7) for life!
  10. I love Thomas! Speaking of licensed themes replacing the generic......If Lego partners with Mattel....Thomas may go mad and murder other Lego trains.
  11. Lego has actually been doing trains long before Playmobil. I like the road vehicles.
  12. Did someone say Playmobil? I love Playmobil! I like City Life.
  13. That's a good point! We were kids in the 90s, when Lego was going through a rather dark period in life (though to us, it was a golden age). This is the 2010s and 2020s where kids are much different. They want different things. If you go to the Thomas the Tank Engine fandom (which I'm also a proud member of), you'll see all the backlash that the producers get for the so-called "issues" with the series today. But the thing that the designers at Lego and the producers of Thomas and Friends have in common is their willingness to change for the better. They have to pander to new fans in order to survive in this day and time.
  14. City Space sells well because of the theme its under. City happens to be one of the most popular themes out there as it basically teaches children about the different jobs that are out there and astronauts is one. It teaches children more about careers than city life. So that type of space is a little different as it shows space sets from a job point of view rather than fantasy. So to compare City space to space sets in general isn't really a fair comparison.
  15. @Masked Mini Pretty long. But I understand and agree.
  16. If that happens, I will never look at Lego the same again. But considering that finding licensed replacements for those would be pretty difficult, I doubt they'd be discontinued. Heck! City, Creator, Friends and Ninjago are the most popular generic themes from Lego with City being number 1.
  17. Just like if old themes worked out better than new ones, they'd go back to the old. Considering how successful SW, LOTR and POTC are, I doubt kids would even want classic Space, Castle and Pirates back.
  18. Well you've got me there! But still. We may not like everything that Lego does, but we've got to deal with it.
  19. They do listen to their fandom. They listen to the part of the fandom that they are trying to target. Children.
  20. Unfortunately, the videos that are uploaded to YouTube are not available in the US. That's frustrating.
  21. No problem! It upsets me too! I would like to think those laws would be overturned or excused for respectable corporations like Lego. But you know what they say about those people who live on hope.
