Yeah I'm wondering why of all the buildings we have seen in City, we haven't seen a post office. Even in the age of the internet, the postal service is still pretty relevant, especially in the US and most of Europe.

Currently, the only set from this wave that my eyes are on is the pizzeria.

I'm a City set collector. For me, the best years were probably 2021-2023 because of the deluge of awesome buildings we got for those years. We got several home sets, all three first responders (police station, fire station and hospital) along with a emergency hq which could double as a 911 dispatch center. We also got the first ever school and grocery store sets for the City theme - though the latter two were already there in other themes. We also got probably the best train station out there; converted mine into a bus terminal. There are other buildings too.

The only set I'm interested in seeing would probably be the pizza delivery set. Cmon Lego! You used to surprise us during the summer. What happened?

Why did I have a feeling that the list for Summer 2026 was going to be a bit predictable?

Now this is a subtheme that I'd get behind.

That's awesome! I got the taxi on release day. This Thursday, I plan to get the fries truck. But if they don't have it, the coast guard ship is the backup plan.

.....and post office and another bus. Judging from the piece count of one of them, it sounds like we're getting a town booster set.

I think we've got enough construction sets. Let's hope all the sets labeled with "town" are buildings.

I think my only disappointment about the 2026 wave was the fact that they didn't bring back the old splashers from 2005-2023. That was a great piece.

Yeah that's because the supermarket was so rare. It was literally the first and only one ever made by City and the only way to snag the Mr. Producci minifigure from City Adventures. There was also a high demand for it too. Same with the house and train station.

Yeah! I tell you. I remember all those buildings we got during that time period. 2021 Pizzeria - with fencing school on top. Love the downtown style design Car Wash - complete with a charging port. I assume Lego City doesn't use fuel anymore Bike Shop - Nice little build Bakery - another nice little build. Not bad, but I prefer the doughnut shop from 2019. Condo/Family Home - This is used as a condo in my town. Small Prison Island - I also have this one. Skate Park - Small, but cool 2022 Police Station - Building was okay. But I loved the vehicles that came with it. Bank - definitely an upgrade from the 2020 bank in set 60245 Fire Station - took the third floor off Abandoned Fish Factory - wish I had gotten that one when I had the chance School - easy to fix second floor Hospital - best hospital since 2012 Farm - good for town builders. 2009 one is my preference though. Supermarket - no roof can easily be fixed Spaceport Train Station - turned into a bus terminal 2023 Another Car Wash - Got this one at a discovery center Ice Cream Shop - I would love for City to do more stationary restaurants Another Skatepark - A random buy for me Apartment Building - Got a good last minute deal on one of those. Ski Resort Some type of city center - Took it down for parts though. Family Home - wish I had the money to buy a few of those and build a neighborhood. Police Academy Emergeny HQ - That one acts as a 911 dispatch center in my town. Man I wish I could go back in time and get some of those sets I missed.

Personally I think the leads for the City theme should be a team effort. I'll admit, it may cost a teeny bit more, but in the long run its good for the theme itself. Chris Stamp can obviously be the lead designer for the vehicles. But imo, they should get another lead to handle the building aspect of the City theme. Whoever came up with the idea for that airport should get a promotion.
