First, this build is awesome! It really gives me the same feelings, just as watching the show. The impassible wall, the legion sized army of white walkers. I would love to see some close up pictures of: I completely relate to this! I see the the wonders made so simply and am in awe. I consider myself an artist in other parts of life(photography and design) but with bricks I am still learning.

6094 - Guarded Treasury 6095 - Royal Joust 41916 - Extra Dots - Series 2 71027 - Got the Break Dancer and the Viking! [Only the Pea Pod costume yet eludes me.] Duplicate Diver and keytar player, and another knight [i think that's four- the army grows!]

I hadn't seen or heard of this!!!! So excited now, definitely getting one (or two?!)!!!! It is very similar feeling to the Monster Fighters castle yet with expanded features. Agreed! This really makes me think that ... {next quote} Yes, a fantasy style ghost warrior faction!!! Maybe I can finally create characters and join a guild! -
It was a fruitful weekend: 76060 - Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum 76079 - Guardians of the Galaxy - Ravager Attack 60246 - Police Station ( a second one, I think I am going to build the second as the first, and then use them to make revisions/refresh my modular police station.) 70324 - Nexo Knights Merlok's Library 2.0 850487 - Monster Fighter's Halloween Accessory Set (I have one, but I have never opened it simply because it is sealed and looks completely mint - extremely rare for me as "mint/sealed" generally is of no interest to me.} 71027 - CFM 20 Musician with Keytar (had to use my eBay bucks up so ordered this guy) - Now only missing Viking, Peapod costume, and Breakdance girl

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Rockstaremcee replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I agree on all of them. (almost) I'm 100% with you on this. Why won't you be able to build an army of Vikings and Knights? The very thought saddens me. For me Series 18 was the worst. This I judge by my lack of desire to purchase them, I might still not have completed the set. As I was thinking I too think S17 was the most enjoyed of the last few regular series. Too much City is something I can agree although it's funny how I "label" an uninteresting minifig to me like S20 Drone Pilot as "City" but then other characters I like I wouldn't even consider City. I think I find your likes opposite mine. The "Red Ranger" was possibly the least desirable character for me in this series along with the Drone Pilot. I just don't think I'll incorporate it into any builds, other than put it in S20 collection build. Depending on which licensed CMF, my general feeling is I don't want more of them (unless it is increasing the number of series released for the year.) While the Disney and Harry Potter series are "neat" it leaves me desiring a regular series for several months. When two released series in a row are dissatisfying, it makes me pivot my interests and I (almost) forget about CMF's, because I'm no longer "on-the-hunt." -
I don't post here nearly enough. Yesterday, I made three stops after work yielding: 60246 Police Station (I really wanted the new bulldog) 40336 Newbury Juice Bar, 40270 Bumblebee Brickheadz, 40354 Brickheads Dragon Dance Guy, 30361 Fire ATV, and Minifigures: Series 11 Blues Player, Tartan Batman, Tiger Tux Batman, Swimsuit Batman w/ Dolphin, Mr.T/B.A.Baracus, Dollar Bill Tux Batman and Firestorm (with his 1 piece head-on-fire)

Nabbed a (second) 70420 HS Graveyard for $10!

Gorgeous work. So many little details as zoth33 and others mentioned above. Those doors add such an important detail, I would have forgotten with this type of pivot-open build. I also love the attacker sneaking up the side!

Gorgeous work! So many things to compliment from the roof patterns, brick usages, to the tile/plate usage under the market! Fantastic!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Rockstaremcee replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Abso-friggin-lutely! I have a mixed series of X-men and would love to legitimize all the characters (no off-brand pieces) -
Fantastic figs! I need to step up my game and put one of these out. Echoing previous comments: Love the axe, the two headed ogre is fantastic. I love the look of the Falcon fig. If the severed head stayed fleshie but the classic figs were classic yellow, I would have lol'd harder. Very creative use of parts! Well done!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Rockstaremcee replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Oh??? Could it be? omg..omg...omg... Yessss OMFG YES PLEASE!!!!! This would be exciting for me. As much as I enjoy my collection of umpteen-hundred batman variants, MARVEL holds most of my favorites. ...It's not like I expect to see any Image Comics minifigs. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Rockstaremcee replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I find it absolutely ridiculous they can compare minifigures to action figures, specifically in terms of considering size and detail. The instant problem I would see if there was an allowance is the big-figs/macro-figure ant-man etc. SOLUTION: The LEGO [INSERT MARVEL SUPERHERO NAME] MOVIE! And just like that ridiculous fight scene in TLBM where they roll-call a ton of villians, roll call all the heroes. Then we can have two CFM series of characters under LEGO's own licensing. -

I nabbed one just for that! Exactly, I grabbed some extra ones from the BAM tower as well as picked up the pack. I figure they can mix with a more mystic/fantasy like the Series 19 Bat-Lord Ghost soldiers (or whatever they are) and the printed front and back of the lower is good for plenty of different characters. -

It kills me when people reference things like this without a link. Then I look and either don't find or can't verify what is mentioned. I think someone referenced it was a rule at one point, which if it is, I motion to change. It's 2020, share a link. -

Rockstaremcee replied to makoy's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Being a fellow castle enthusiast, I agree. I was enthralled with the 9 minifigures as it is a "Super" people-pack and am looking forward to adding it to my arsenal. But as I look at it closer from a usability-for-castle standpoint it does tend to miss the mark. That said we won't ever really be happy until they come out with an abundance of pure castle sets again.- 17 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Rockstaremcee replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
RAGE!!!!! Freaking anger!!! [mimes throwing desk lamp into wall] I just saw one of the "sneak peaks" of the new series. "Oh joy [sarcasm] another freaking DC/Batman series after the already overly-saturated offerings of Batman/Lego Batman/ Series 1&2 LBTM/DC Super Heroes!!! WHERE THE megabluck IS A MARVEL SERIES?!?!?! @#$^%@$@#$^#$%@#$% ... Cough... Ahem... Please hold, while de-Hulk-ing... Thanks for waiting... Your call in important to us, please stay on the line... Allllllllllllrighty then! Yes, very disappointed with this new offering. Was uninterested the second I saw it, and then I saw the price increase and my Gamma levels went full nuclear. It looks with the previous comments I have yet to read that I am not alone. All that said, I will still probably buy these, when they are on sale/marked down etc but simply because I ALREADY HAVE a huge display case of 'All the Batman's' and I enjoy showcasing the many variations. I just would have been incredibly happier with other options. Can't they just listen to @Robert8?? I feel there are likely people tasked with the job that haven't put in anywhere near the work of all his beautiful creations! If we held a forum vote for the 18 best and 18 least popular designs, I would gladly buy the 18 least popular over these. Thank you for reading my rant. Go forth and multiply [your collections.] -

Adventurers Reimagined 5976
Rockstaremcee replied to A_Goodman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I love it! The barrels/log in the net, all the accessories around the boat, and all the surfaces are tiled! A goal for many of my builds. WELL DONE! Especially with the new CMF Series 19 version of Johnny Thunder it makes me want to start a new Adventurers build.- 8 replies
