I finally nabbed a deal on the Disney Castle (used/complete) and I picked up 7 of the new Looney Tunes CMF.

I will have to finally build mine when I get home so I can fully see all the changes but the exhaust was the first thing I wanted to modify. Truly exquisite details. As mentioned, the scale is great giving a grand feeling. Even an ominous or intimidating feeling if one had less than honorable intentions. I think the ratio of color usage is what makes your path so real looking. By consistently only using the 1x1 LBG corner tile and occasional 1x1 green round tile it looks more natural among the DBG pieces of varying size. This could be said of the whole thing. Your ratio of accent color to main color really adds detail without being too frequent. MOCs like this inspire me (and many others I am sure!) Keep up the great work!

Threw together some classic road plates and made a house/garage for my sons Paw Patrol guys. Spoiler alert! If you have NOT completed Mandalorian Season 2, then STOP reading (and go watch it lol) . . . . Built Trouble on Tatooine and the Mandalorian Battle Pack and an impomptu "Razor Crest MOC" [read crater in the sand] And the Thor mech. I have had many sets waiting to be built and now I'm on leave for 3 weeks so open the floodgates! 😅

Picked up a pick a brick cup [Lego employee use a scoop to try to fill it to your wishes] I was having it filled left over parts from the mixed bin and was thrilled to see many studs (1x1 plate, round) in soft yellow which I needed for an incomplete Star Wars Art set.

I've begun the arduous task of raising all my modular builds by 1 brick for ease-of-use. I was planning to do this but the trial and error [read excessive experimenting] with the new road plates really made me green light the project. So far I love the look of the end product. 76173 Spider-Man, Ghost Rider with car and Carnage, ironically while watching s04:e01 of Agents of Shield. I must have subconsciously remembered that is when Ghost Rider appears in the series.

Thank you! It just seemed like a good companion thread opposite "What did you buy today?" For myself the thrill of the hunt for a great deal on a set is one part, and then sitting down to build is the larger amount of time. I.e. tonight I should finish the Gardens, and it will be my 8th evening working on it. This is fun! I can hear the Roadrunner's "Meep meep" as he runs away into the distance.

As simple as it sounds, what did you build today? You can be as vague or specific as you like. This is just for fun. Did you spend the evening creating, tearing down, and recreating a small part in your MOC? (i.e. archway, tree, etc) Did you build the Modular/ UCS/ desirable set that you finally acquired but had not yet built? Did you spend the day just sorting bricks? Are you planning/designing/drawing your next build? Creating a new set in Lego Digital Designer or stud.io? ========================================================================================= To start it off: I worked on 71741 Ninjago City Gardens, for the 5th evening and finished the 2nd (of 3) instruction book.

Same here, I think I got 1 with each of my two in-store purchases. I believe my invoice shows 1 on each of my two online purchases but won't know for sure until I receive those. ON TOPIC: I finished building my 10278 last night and naturally I want to replicate some features to other buildings, possibly expand it or add another floor. I see in stock currently, the 70681 - Brick 1×3, Outside Half Arch, W/Cutout in tan and gray are back in today. Yesterday it said sold out when I checked. I'm hoping to catch the 38585 Window Arch corners whenever they are restocked. Those would really dress up my small bank. The Soap n Suds and newspaper tiles are priced $0.00 which is too bad, I would love to have a couple extras of those to spread around town.

When people talk about U.S retail releases, do they mean outside of the Lego stores? I know the Lego store here (Minnesota) has carried them since release/re-opening from pandemic shutdown.

I love it! First thing I noticed, the dice used as a shipping container with the Ice Planet tiles! Smooth integration of newer pieces, especially trans-orange pieces. Very clean!
