  1. The Kwik E Mart definitely sounds more plausible than Moe and his bar...unless it was Uncle Moe's Family Feedbag
  2. Loving the I&S land AC!!!
  3. Have Targets check the DPCI for them: 204 00 0261 If you're not able to find them, it's probably sold out as a bunch of Targets broke street date last week.
  4. Hopefully they'll just fly off the shelves to warrant more series and sets!!
  5. Thanks for posting!!
  6. Thanks for sharing. Great informative piece.
  7. I thought he was one of the easiest. You can rule out Marge extremely fast b/c of her hair, then the legs...if they're not short legs, it's Abe. :)
  8. Limit for US stores is 32 per person.
  9. Yay for molded. Can't reiterate that enough
  10. Someone should photo shop it w/ the molded heads. :)
  11. It's amazing that not everyone agrees with you. I do, but there are many who like this weird tv guide/cartoon version.
  12. I never had a problem with the Azog giveaway at last year's SDCC. That was 100% targeted to kids, and every adult that went up asked about it, got the same answers, "sorry, kids only and it's being passed out randomly." If I didn't get a shot at it, than I'm not worried about getting. The Super Heroes are a totally different story. That was a nightmare last year, and that part needs to be fixed. Previous years were fine...not sure why they went that idiotic route.
  13. I'm hoping the episode will feature the molded figures, b/c the face that's on the TV Guide would be just weird. But sadly, I think what's on the cover is how it's being done (not the photoshopped one). :(
  14. Amazing how polarizing this line is. That TV guide marble looks hideous. I would be less inclined to buy them of they looked like that. Yaaay for what we have.
  15. That's absolutely killer!! Well done!! Hopefully the SW line of these sell well prompting them to expand it to SH
  16. People on brickset have posted it there. Wal-Mart has an ad out stating that movie minifigs are 2.97 all week long, but as y'all already know, movie minifigs have been sold out for quite a while now. So WMT is marking the Simpsons at 2.97...that's if you can find them. :(
  17. I've seen reports that Houston is getting hit...any day now for ya
  18. Anyhoo...wal mart has these on sale for 2.97 this week...if you can find them
  19. Along w that note, Playmates toys was very reluctant on releasing moves tavern as a playset. It took them a few years and it was only released as a gamestop exclusive, so it was never sold in a toy store or a broader store like target. Sadly, moe's tavern is pretty much dead in the water, buuut, i do like the uncle moe's family feedbag. :)
  20. I guess I'm in the minority that love Itchy and Scratchy. They're wonderful additions in my book for figures you'd NEVER think you'd get, you get them both in one shot. There's still hope that the line sells like gangbusters to be released yearly.
  21. I can see them holding the Ghostbusters til Comic-Con like they did the Delorean last year.
  22. It sounds like a lot of the hate emanates from the AFOLs who don't like the look of sculpted heads as they don't fit anywhere in the Lego minifigure universe. Then they look at what potential accessories might be worthwhile to crossover to the traditional Lego minifigures, and can't find anything worth $4 to spend, so they just hate it. I really like that Lego stepped out of the box for this one, and I'm excited of the possibilities of MOCs people can now create in the Simpsons universe to go w/ these new minifigures.
  23. Love them all! Great review, and thanks for posting photos of the sides and backs. I can appreciate the detail more w/ those shots. I love how Lego added the little touch of Bart's slingshot in his back pocket. That is brilliant. If this sells well, hopefully more fan favorites will be made. This seriously reminds me of Playmate's World of Springfield days when everyone always complained about something, but at the end of the day, they're great figures that are must wants for Simpsons fans.
