  1. Thanks guys! The little 1x1 plate with the house print on it comes with the CMF 23 Elf figure (in a little snow globe!)
  2. As winter sets in among the hamlets that dot the northern reaches of Corrington, townsfolk hunker down to live off the bounty of the year's harvest.
  3. "Winter Kingdom" After I got the CMF 23 elf with the tiny stud houses, I knew I needed to try a little winter village with them! Also thought it would be fun to try backhoe buckets as castle walls.
  4. Great looking figs! Nice job on the building and details
  5. Ads seem better this week. Last week they were attached to the bottom of the browser window and this week they appear below the forum contents at the bottom of the page. Much better.
  6. Brickset has ads for not-logged-in people, but members don't see them. Wonder if something like that could work here
  7. Great! We got it installed today
  8. Thanks! We're in the process of putting the collab together today as a display. Here's what the two halves of the road look like together before we add the ocean
  9. Cadets from the Military Academy play music under an oak, evancelt
  10. The cadets had a few hours of downtime following the dinner mess at the Fort Stockton Military Academy. As he retrieved his lute, Fredrick Granger invited Henry Theobald and Gibby Vand to accompany him on fiddle and accordion. They settled in under a mossy oak tree and began to play an upbeat reel. Theobald first and then Vand noticed a strange accompaniment. They looked at one another as they played on - a mysterious 'HOOT' sounded in time to the song. ------------- OOO: Just an excuse to play with an antler oak. I have many more coming in the mail, so I'll make a bigger one soon.
  11. A portion of my contribution to a national parks collaboration. The bottom border matches up with another builder's contribution to form a road. The entire collaboration will be on display at the Boulder, CO Bricks and Minifigs store starting this Sunday
  12. Here is a new link! https://discord.gg/xBkdJff9
  13. Beautiful ship! Like others have mentioned, great transition from prefab hulls to the brickbuilt ones. Looks like a very tall ship! Im sure Corrington will be glad to have her A GoC from me
  14. Thanks for moving the thread to the Town subforum @Professor Thaum - seems like a better place for it!
  15. Today I added vegetation and minifigs!
  16. Working on a SNOT roadway to accompany the build. A collaborator will complete the other half of the road Also got started on the background mountains. A few more layers of rock and snow needed before vegetation gets added
  17. Check out @CapOnBOBS's interview with Beyond the Brick. He gives BoBS a shoutout
  18. Picked up a 9v train setup on BL with DBG track! Planning to switch out the RC track for the metal track, which should allow me to motorize the train tender without making it huge to support a big RC battery box
  19. Made some more progress on my Rocky Mountain National Park build last night - need to start the mountains and road next
  20. Major Brickleton leads Hussars on patrols around Seawatch Bluecoat forces head toward Seawatch from Fort Arltrees
  21. No doubt that side looks like crap However, I plan on only ever showing the three good sides
  22. The 3.Division de la Armee "Oleonda" sets out from Fort Arltrees to join the fight against the Lotii near Seawatch
  23. Tales later told that Bjorn Byggshield was compensating for the fact he couldn't grow as full of a mustache as his brother Olaf.
  24. :) 1. I have all of the currently-produced colors and I'm looking to expand my color palette 2. Yes, the finish on the cut side is crap. I think I could seal it up / melt it smooth with acetone, but I really don't expect to use these pieces where all 4 sides are visible. 3 of the sides are perfect! 3. See #2 4. Interesting idea!
  25. Working on a national park scene. Started on the river section
