  1. Great build @Bregir! Love seeing it made public and seeing WIP shots for so long! The staircase and wonderful building colors are highlights for me
  2. Thanks! The figures and cannons in this build are childhood ones I recovered from my sister's house this past fall. While I'd love to be able to say the raft is also a set from my childhood, it isn't. In this build I was trying to incorporate classic pirates nostalgia and wanted a classic pirate raft! So I looked up a picture of it on Google and made a semi-faithful representation of 6257 from spare parts
  3. Very true Thanks guys! Was fun to just use regular old smiley faces
  4. Those answers to the first two questions might be helpful for an about page on the new website :D
  5. Nice build! Love all of the landscape details
  6. Posted this waterfall up on LEGO Ideas Please consider supporting it https://ideas.lego.com/projects/2901ef06-6fd7-4ae1-b3b5-e1c98cb3c64e
  7. Smugglers attempt to rescue their brother from Fort Wullham
  8. Francis Goge had been nabbed by Corlander authorities the previous week. He was caught redhanded smuggling goods into Wullham without paying the requisite duties to the harbormaster. Now, six days later, Goge lay in shackles in the cells at Fort Stockton in Wullham. Though promised a fair trial, his brothers didn't pay that much heed. He was guilty and everyone knew it. A jailbreak was needed - and soon! The Goge brothers conferred with one another and decided that Fort Stockton was quite impenetrable from the land approach, so they threw together a quick raft and attempted to sneak near the building where their brother was held. It wasn't going well. SPLASH! A cannonball missed their raft by less than a meter. A detachment of redcoats ran down the dock and opened fire. ------------------ OOC: This build started as a way to play with brick bending to make fort towers. It was also a fun chance to make a nougat beach and incorporate sand red plates into the fort wall in an attempt to recreate the classic pirate panels. The brick-bending tower technique:
  9. Some more progress - finished the loop and started on the first tier of mountains
  10. @Ayrlego @Bregir - If @Bricksbypidy so desired, could he donate these "extra" builds to be licensed by settlements or factions?
  11. Hey @Bricksbypidy - Please follow up with that question in our faction PM chat and we can strategize some ways you can build for the campaign! Often builds that show us increasing our odds of success in battle help us win! Things like clearing jungle to make roads, being well supplied, drilling our units to be in tip-top shape, etc. We can't decide the outcome of the battle to come, but we can prepare and increase our odds.
  12. Fun scene! The roof looks great! I also like the bent/wavy fence - are those normal flextube pieces? Will be fun when we finally have that big three leaf plant in olive! A GoC from me!
  13. @TribunM Here is an invite to the LEGO Pirates discord: https://discord.gg/VJAfKxHZ (the invite link will work for 7 days)

  15. Yes! Looking forward to that dual-mold hat hair tricorne
  16. Super impressive, @Bricksbypidy! I love all the angled offsets you used to position the various mini-scenes, and the larger tree is super impressive. The larger scene is really immersive in its scale. A for GoC from me The hair piece works really well as lettuce
  17. These look so good :)
  18. Magnificent colors and action everywhere! Awesome job!
  19. Thanks! The monk mouse is wearing a 'plague doctor' robe as a habit. It is a custom piece from BrickWarriors. I figured the brown variant looked like a monk habit. Thanks! Thanks! A while back I ordered all the yellowish green elements I could find, an the katanas were one of the only pieces out there
  20. Thanks! The mouseheads are the best I've seen! They are from a company named Crazy Bricks. If they are your thing (or you think they might be fun), you should grab some of the heads from their website. They are much cheaper than the full figs and will likely sell out in the next week or so.
  21. After receiving the distressed badger and hearing his tale, Abbot Gersey sends warrior mice out to aid in his search for his daughter. Weasels had been spotted near Loamhedge a fortnight earlier and the abbot has his suspicions they were behind the badgermaid's disappearance. ---------------- This build started as a chance to play around with light lime alongside yellowish green and lime in the base. Planning to display it at some upcoming CoWLUG shows alongside some Mouse Guard builds from other LUG members.
  22. Changed up the passenger car design a bit Needs a motorized brake car / caboose next
  23. Worked on a building for the layout yesterday, with a moving dog playing fetch
  24. "Anti-Imperialists" Putting together some barbarian soldiers for an upcoming CoWLUG collaboration. Longships are based on ones designed by Jonas Kramm and bricks_fan_uy.
