Seems the tire size is actually based on 49.5 x 20 so perhaps double it up with the 49.5 x 14 and then single 49.5 x 20 in the front.
-
First looks arn't very positive, mainly due to the aweful rear tires. Hopefully the tires are 15413, then they can be doubled up for the rear and single in front as rain tires look.

Had the set up for sale at first, but i got another idea instead. Now it lives on as a Doka and stays in my collection =] The Doka build is from Rebrickable and i added a bunch of mods from my own.
-
Last good Ideas set was the Caterham, but that's just me cuz i like cars.

Pulled the plug and decided to go through with the MOC from Rebrickable, and it's well worth it. LEGO MOC 10248 Ferrari F40 MOD by NKubate | Rebrickable - Build with LEGO I also applied some mods of my own by lowering the suspension by roughly a plate thickness, with an illegal mod really as i had to glue those extra pieces in order for it to be structural sound. And the rims in the front are less deep, just like the real car.
-
Hopefully those tires also fit on the recently released pickup truck.
-
Ordered printed pieces from Steindrucker because of the TERRIBLE Lego stickers, look at the difference.

Yeh, they're really really bad. I wish they had made them transparent.

Sorry to bump this ancient thread, but i had to share this. I made these modifications over a year ago, but never made pictures. Gave the VW Camper American style bumpers in a chroom look, feels like this how it was suppost to look, but the big curved peices on the front where never available in grey until a year or 2 ago.

Looks like LEGO is ditching black backed background thankfully! LEGO to ditch the black backgrounds in instruction manuals | Brickset: LEGO set guide and database -
10295 Creator Expert Porsche 911 Discussion
TheDeeGee replied to BrickWild's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Build my Turbo today, took me about 4 hours. What a fantastic model it is, best one so far from the Creator Expert line. The color white is perfect as well in combination with the interior. And for the first time in my life i missed a part, pretty sizeable one too. Black 1x6 smooth tile for the rear spoiler. Had a bunch of my own so no big deal. -
Is there another way to get digital instructions for the new 10295 set? The app doesn't work and only shows a white screen with a LEGO logo.

I think the Turbo looks better overall. Targa rear window looks weird with all those broken up pieces. -

I have no more room in my display cabinet damn it ! Maybe i need to find a spot outside of it for the 1989 Batmobile, as it takes up an entire level which can house 2 creator cars. -
DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
TheDeeGee replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Seems the new wave of 1989 Batmobiles come with 3x 2x6 Tiles for the canopy instead of the 6x6 plate. -
Quality of LEGO is declining. Lot's of pieces these days not fit nicely and cause seams.

I don't mind stickers, but i hope they are stickers so we can make a choice to have a classic Ecto-1.
-
Man, the Ecto-1 looks amazing, can't wait to build it. Looks like it's already in stock, which means it will come out this year? Can't really tell what the length says, but looks like it says 47CM, which seems about right judging the wheels they used.

LEGO Ideas Discussion
TheDeeGee replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I doubt we'll ever see another car roll out of the Ideas garage beside the Caterham. Atleast i'm saving loads of money as i pass on both winning sets. -
LEGO Creator 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TheDeeGee replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Oh man, this is some awesome news! $200 means atleast a 40CM long model if they scale it around the 15413 tires. If they use the 30699 tires then it's comparable to the London Bus in scale. The Ford Mustang is $130, so i'm hoping they scale it around the larger tires. -
Lego Ideas... more like Lego Space. It started off pretty good with the first 10 or so sets, which actually looked like the idea that was send in. They change it up way too much nowadays.

THE PIRATE BAY IS GOING TO BE AN OFFICIAL LEGO SET!!!!

That's actually good, i seriously hate hoarders. -
She's looking for a display case, but sadly enough i can't find a size, as she measures 66cm x 23cm x 49cm My current display cabinet has room on top, but it's limited to 76cm x 37cm, and i don't want the display case on top to overhang. https://www.idisplayit.co.uk/ doesn't have anything i'm looking for. They either have a really large one 78cm x 26x x 52cm, which will overhang on the side If i mod a little hoever and remove the rowing boat and lower the highest flag, i can get the size down to 63cm x 23cm x 46.5cm, which means https://www.idisplayit.co.uk/display-cases-for-lego/movies-tv/70618-destinys-bounty-display-case/ can work. It's a shame they don't offer something like 70cm x 26cm x 52cm.
