  1. lets go. so lego designed a g gauge model?
  2. ...and done (atleast the wagon)
  3. todays progress, i am not done yet, still need to iron out some details (mostly the rear side windows)
  4. everything including the fencing and the shroud where the cables go. actually the carrige is the substation. it contains all the equipment necessary the only thing that has to be provided externally is the high voltage supply.
  5. today i found this: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Wien-wiener-linien-gleichrichterwagen-1-811545.jpg these where and are essentially mobile substations current progress:
  6. for me always 9v. ideally controlled by a microcontroller if you only have one train and if you have multiple 9v dcc.
  7. fully agreed. makes it look a lot better in my opinion.
  8. very nice build. the cave just feels so perfect.
  9. you have my attention my man. most people use the track system @Masao Hidakahas created. he uses basic bricks. also make shure to look into that thread: if you have any more questions feel free to ask them!
  10. just a little crosspost from my train tech post: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/194614-crs-alweg-monorail-diorama-wip-finished/
  11. reminds me of this one: https://youtu.be/70OSJLzISL0
  12. how long is that cross axle? i might have a solution depending on how long that is. you can make it longer or shorter by varying the length of the tile or by adding plates between the technic bricks and the brackets. for a slimer solution you have to make the brackets go over the technic bricks holes. it should have more strenght in tension for shure.
  13. thanks. over 6500 pieces isnt going to be cheap but nice digitally too. atleast i have the innuyhama monorail built and a small u shaped track.
  14. real bricks wont be a thing sorry. i am not that rich.
  15. and here is a full render of the whole thing. changed the roof to your suggestion aswell. @Murdoch17 other side: total part count: 6661 parts.
  16. thanks for the Suggestion. yeah havent looked into these. but yeah these would be better.
  17. ...aaand done. roof was a nightmare to make. pretty happy with it, maybe will do a bit more detailing eventually adding other things like benches on the other side.
  18. i highly suspect that aswell as the powerfunctions connectors work in this exact way.
  19. @MellonHead did it myself. these are from slotcars so they are made for that and you bend them like this once and it works. nothing really is weak. ofcourse you need so somehow mount them but thats not hard to find a spot where they fit usually.
  20. if we talk about pickups there is also this option: but to get back on topic thank you @michaelgale for your efforts to bring back 9v!
  21. very nice! how long do the batteries last with the elevation?
  22. ...and now there is seattle atleast the current progress of that: it is modelled after the old now demolished station at pine street: not complete yet still needs roof and floor of the model.
  23. looks good as a start. id try to use snot as the person above me said. maybe try digital aswell (you appear to have a pc from your other pictures on flickr) to try stuff out before building it irl. there are free programms like stud.io designed to do this. btw. if you insert the link, press enter and wait a bit, eurobricks automatically embedds flickr links as pictures. if you have any more questions or need help feel free to ask!
  24. when you wash the airport shuttle too hot...micro shuttle!
