This design looks amazing! I love both the engine designs, and the shaping is done really well. -

This is true, self-contradictory statements are rarely accurate on account of contradicting themselves. I'd say there's enough of a difference between the relative popularity and type of show resistance and mandalorian are to increase the razor crest's chances, but looks like we're not getting it this year anyway. Thanks for clarification, I was wondering why the helmets were suddenly busts, nice to know that's not the case. No mando sets is sad, but unless this is a TPM wave finally getting some more prequel sets is nice...and there is a glimmer of hope for TCW sets. -

Could this be "hulkbuster", and actually be iron monger? I struggle to think of other stuff from the first film, besides his worskshop and house, unless they want to give us military tanks, which I doubt. It's got to be bigger, I agree. The helmet/bust sounds pretty cool but I'll have to see images before I decide whether to buy it or not. Hulkbuster should be fine, it's a nice way to get a mech that actually makes some sense as to why it would exist The tower could either be REALLY good, or REALLY bad. Hopefully we get a large tower with a nice exterior. -

We can't get another at-ap or HMP gunship, the origional ones would still be on shelves. (In terrible nemoldian impression) "they can't do that...shoot them, or something" Honestly, we know it won't be at-ap, droid gunship, or AT-RT, so anything else from kashyyyk (Or ROTS in general) would be great. My only worry is that it'll be a ton of Battle of Naboo stuff from TPM and then the Wheel Bike from ROTS. I agree, he's decided his theory is 100% confirmed. Yes, it's unlikely, but saying it's proven when it definately hasn't been is a terrible idea, especially when on this set "it would be cool if they made ____" gets turned into "_____ UCS set confirmed" within approx. 3.7 seconds -

I guess not, unless he's a GWP that becomes availible the same time as the set. -

I'm gonna go with falconfan on this, he's been 100% reliable as far as I can tell, and the thing you posted already called it DC. -

That's seriously unfortunate. So clone wars era, at least? Specifically prequel films, or could we see anything clone wars? Please stop posting your guesses as if they're leaks or confirmed information -

Would you reccomend buying it now, at $20 if I only want the bantha? I'm on the fence. ^ This. This is perfectly worded, and EXACTLY how I feel. And the suspense is killing me too, especially since I'll only buy the nebuleon. (Or the gunship if by some miracle it's minifigure scale with lots of good figures, but that seems unlikely.). I especially agree that if the gunship wins, and, say, is a $400 set larger than minifigure scale with, say, a clone pilot and a clone captain, then the vocal minority will be upset it's not what they wanted. (The bomber will almost certainly not win, there doesn't seem to be much support) -

Well, we'd have to have an x-men animated series coming out for that, so it might be awhile. This is the most likely scenario, I think. -

I think it's because they want to listen to the fans, but can't have the minifigures be Jedi bob, rebel friend, 10000000 clone commanders, and every version of ahsoka but with the normal design. This way they can have their single fan favorite while keeping the other figures (if there are any) what they want to put in. You didn't offend anyone, some people just enjoy trolling and others might be getting a bit too mad over this. You make a good point in that while there may be a slightly higher group of fans who will vote but not pay for the gunship, that doesn't at all mean that it's the majority of gunship votes, or that nebuleon and bomber votes are exempt from that. C'mon man, it's not unreasonable to want a UCS set for the build, could you leave these guys alone? I'm not saying you can't debate them, just maybe try to keep some more civlity. -

100% agree, sorry if i miscommunicated but that was my point. If we get a large UCS gunship but we don't have ahsoka/rex/cody/etc, people are going to complain that "they voted for the set and how dare it not include (character)" Again clarifying, I in no way mean that most gunship fans, or even most gunship fans who want it at least partially because they think it could include one or more of the above characters, will react this way. A vocal minority will, of course, because there are people who have the ability to complain about any situation, but the same could be said for some nebuleon-b fans if it doesn't come with nien numb, or TIE bomber fans if it doesn't have, say, sloane. (No one's really connected to the bomber that we haven't gotten yet, so I just did the most prominent Imperial I could think of that we haven't gotten yet.) -

I'm sure they'll have something out soon. Anything with mandalorians sells like crazy, and if they add the child to the mix the set's sales would be huge. Exactly. The most likely scenarios here are like you say, either we get something minifigure scale with some extra stuff thrown in, or something much larger but with no good figures. And whichever it is (or if the gunship doesn't win), some people are going to go absolutely bonkers about it because it wasn't made exactly to their specifications. Personally, I think we'll either get the nebuleon or a larger gunship, in both cases having like 2 figures. -

Lol, of course! In all seriousness minifigs will probably not be too numerous here, but I could see rebel friend for the nebuleon-b, or jedi bob for the gunship (bomber doesn't have any figures like that related too it, and also seems to have the least support), showing up in whichever UCS set ends up winning if enough people write them in. Probably it'd be something like clone pilot (x2) clone trooper, jedi bob, or rebel trooper, ESB luke, leia, rebel friend. -

I agree, people are getting way to angry about this, and now there's a ton of tangentially related comments about a poll for stuff that's not even lego? They might have some concepts for them, but they wouldn't get only one completely designed and ready, and lego doesn't strike me as type of company that would put out a poll and not actually listen to the results, nor as the type that would get one ready and just bank on it being the one that wins. As I've stated before, personally I'm hoping the nebuleon-b wins and we get a system scale gunship over the summer, but whichever one you voted for (AND whichever one ends up winning), I respect your choice as long as you REMEMBER TO BE CIVIL. This is a fun poll for a new lego set, and the worst thing we can do we already have. It doesn't matter if we're sending a prequel or OT message, or even if voting for those sets would send that message, because what this forum is sending right now is that UCS fans have no courtsey and can't have a logical debate with others. *Insert "how uncivilized" GIF here* -

Completely agree with everything you say here. It's important to note that this isn't a slight against the PT to vote nebuleon-b, but actually the smart choice for people who want a good, minifig-scale republic gunship with lots of figures to vote nebuleon-b. It's a win-win, and believe me, if we end up getting UCS nebuleon-b and system scale gunship, I'll be buying both Do you have any further reasoning behind this, or just like the design? Not trying to hurt your argument, most SW ships are bought bc people like the design, just wondering if there's anything else. -

I agree most people will vote for the nebuleon-b, because it's not only the only ship that's never been made by official lego, but the other two are better suited to (and long-overdue for) system-scale sets, whereas the complexity of the nebuleon-b's shape, leading to the necessary size and number of parts to show that shape without completely compromising structural integrity ensures that it really has to be done as a UCS set. Again, this is why I'm campaigning for the nebuleon-b. The other two need system-scale sets to be made soon, and a UCS set makes that much less likely. -

They do have some purple, but I disagree with the basis. The purple on the figure is more like splashes, not accents, like that somewhat annoying large purple splotch off-center on the helmet. And I know the figures appear to be brighter due to the low lighting in the scenes some of the background mandos are in, but these are brightly lit and definately not a medium azure. Yes, these sell out FAST in my experiance too. I managed to get the at-st raider day one from lego's online store, but it was incredibly difficult to track down the mando packs. (ended up getting them from a target) Wouldn't it be hilarious if they put him in enough cheap enough sets that he's worth like $3 on bricklink, with all that's happening with baby yoda merchandise? -
Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Mandalorianknight replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think this is a supply and demand type thing, at least for some of it. People in general have more demand for rescue and the stark gauntlet, so their set costs more. I do think this is a solid set though. All the figures are great (except for whatever's going on with taskmaster's weapons, but as someone said that's marvel's fault, not lego), and the helicopter is amazing. It looks realistic, like a completed helicopter, and definately worth the money, all three of which are VERY rare in a marvel set. -

At least three of the designs were based on background characters, with the possible exception being the bright blue one with purple splotches. -

He does have some sort of sword and shield, but they're a spike piece and a 2x2 round dish. Not sure what they were thinking. I agree, the main parts of the set (helicopter and figures) both look excellent. If this is $30 or less I might pick it up. -

I know you have information sometimes, but I don't want to assume you're hinting at one because that's how false rumors start. Personally I think a capital ship is highly unlikely as the only one we've had recently is the ISD, and without any other information I think it's too early to tell. That said, if you are hinting that a capital ship is coming.........HOME ONE! HOME ONE! HOME ONE! -

I'm assuming this print is more expensive than angry clone, but then conversly it should be cheaper for them to just use a blank black head. Agreed that this is the best option, but I think the plain black head makes more sense than angry clone at least. I agree, a single face is fine, but not this angry clone, like you say it's the wrong sking tone and looks too angry. With the imps and first order, also agreed, literally any face is fine. Male or female, as long as they're human, they're accurate. -

That's got to be tough for collecting more figures, like you say. If you want to give TCW figures "normal" style heads you've got alot to choose from, but with TCW figures you only have so many options. I do think it's near-certain that if we get TCW season 7 sets the figures will look "normal", but you never know. -

Black widow looks pretty good. So does taskmaster, as far as I can tell. The image is pretty blurry, but the torso and mask print seem fine. As @THELEGOBATMAN said, the black hood is probably the best option since we can't get hood printing, and no leg print is to be expected.
