  1. That makes more sense, I forgot that they had multiple "hut" sections. All I could remember was the one where their bodies are when they die and then the pit, but a droid workshop area would make sense. Here's an updated one based on your suggestions: Lars Homestead: Two hut builds, one with a dining area interior and one with a droid workshop/oil bath interior. Figures: Luke, Owen, Beru, R2-D2, Sandtrooper. $49.99
  2. i agree, there's some inclination that you have to be one or the other, for some reason, and that any time there's an OT or PT set it's "wasting a spot" that should have been given to the other. The OT gets more sets because it's more popular, in general, but that doesn't make it the enemy. And just because the prequels weren't necessarily the greatest films..*cough* ROTS was the only good one *cough* doesn't mean that the related sets are bad, especially when they are from the FAR superior clone wars show. Like with this A-wing thing. It's an a-wing, cool. It's not confirmed, and I don't think anyone actually expected a prequel set, seeing as we just got the gunship. I agree that a 501st pack has become very unlikely due to the actions of a few members of the campaign for it. Lego can't make one now or they'll appear to be folding to the fans and while the majority of people who wanted it will be happy, the people who were pretty demanding and disrespectful about it will see it as that their behavior worked. As you say, "negotiating with terrorists". I find this 4 501st clones thing unlikely, but four clones in general is POSSIBLE, maybe 332nd, 501st, and shinies or something. And the gunship just won the vote, I think you'll have to wait until LEGO can see how that thing sells before you start getting more prequel UCS sets.
  3. Only thing I would say is maybe replace one of the -wings with a TIE interceptor. These are some great-sounding sets. (especially getting endor rex again.) The prices are pretty optimistic again, especially with that a-wing and b-wing, but I think for most of the sets you could make it work. Like the $39.99 at-st could just be the rogue one at-st, which can be modified to fit two figures easily without any external mods. And if you'll be so kind as to allow me to try my hand at one of these: Fleet rebels battle pack: 2x rebel fleet trooper, 1x rebel officer from the battlefront games, 1x y-wing pilot. build is one of those rebel transports with a bit of yavin wall like in the juniors a-wing or something. $14.99 Death star forces battle pack: 2x stormtrooper, 1x imperial fleet trooper, 1x imperial crew (like the officer in the 2016 battle pack). Build is a turbolaser connected to a control panel. $14.99 Detention block rescue: similar to that module in the death star set, a detention block for leia and tha console on the outside. There's a vent leia can "blast open", which would connect to the trash compacter. Figures are stormtrooper Han, Leia, and a stormtrooper, as well as an IT-O. $29.99 Lars Homestead: A build a little similar to kenobi's hut, with mosture vaporators and whatnot. Figures are Luke, Aunt Beru, c-3po and a sandtrooper. $34.99 The trash compacter: Trash compacter similar to the one in the death star, with a closing wall feature, with an area on the back for the droids to save them. Detention block rescure can be placed on top. Figures are Luke (stormtrooper disguise), c-3po, and a stormtrooper, with a dianoga build. $39.99 Y-wing starfighter: y-wing with another bit of temple similar to the one in the battle pack. Figures are Dutch Vander, an astromech, a rebel technician, a rebel fleet trooper, and a stormtrooper. $64.99 Lord Vader's TIE advanced starfighter: A new Tie Advanced, larger than the one in the rebels set. Figures are Lord Vader, a Tie pilot, an officer (black uniform), and a stormtrooper. $69.99 The Devastator: the star destroyer from the start of ANH, with Vader (red eye print), 2x imperial crew, an imperial captain (DBG uniform), and 2x fleet troopers. $159.99 (USC/MBS/whatever) The Massassi temple: Giant massasi temple with hanger area, command center, ceremony room, (with the medal mold pieces like they used for the olympics CMF), briefing room, etc. There's a mini x-wing and tie fighter that can each fit a figure, like slave one on bespin. Figures are: Luke (ceremony outfit, no medal), Leia (ceremony outfit), Han (no medal), Chewbacca, Dodonna, mon Mothma, Wedge and Biggs (with unique face prints), r2-d2, c-3po, a rebel officer, 2x rebel technicians, 2x fleet troopers, 2x honor guard, a stormtrooper and a TIE pilot. $299.99 I was going to do a death star duel, but I couldn't think of any play features besides "kill the old hermit", and it would also mean 3 vaders in a wave, so...
  4. Agreed. This is a really good-looking set, it's what lego marvel would ideally be like. Unfortunately, most 6-8 yr olds would probably take the spider-crawlers over a nondescript black helicopter.
  5. good idea reaching out to customer service. It's unfortunate that it'll most likely be the same mando, but at least we're getting a razorcrest (and a baby yoda).
  6. If the yoda's hut is more of a small side build and not like the $30 one from a year or two ago, I could totally see the x-wing going for $100
  7. Exactly. Some $30 busts like vader and sith trooper would be fine, especially in the limited-edition way they did vader (sith trooper of course being a con exclusive). The main think that irks me is that I really don't think KIDS will want these. I think lego's trying to target adults here, but I don't think too many people will buy these unless they are large and look great. It was fake, 100%. And I don't think you were saying it could be fore mando, but if you were, there's no way that had any sort of connection to the mandalorian show.
  8. I'll second @Guyon2002's question, what the heck does this have to do with streetdates? I'm with you here. It's not wrong for someone to get a set early, but it is wrong for a store to purposely not follow the streetdate.
  9. Kind of like the fall 2018 wave, i think it's sort of an off-wave, except it's also pretty expensive for the amount of sets releasing. I personally do not think these helmet sets will do very well, they'll have to be really well-built.
  10. Exactly. If there are multiple, system-based waves coming out with sets from all eras but NOTHING you can't complain about, maybe you have to look for something else besides that mythical 501st battle pack. Of course, we aren't getting a wave of normal system sets in april, so
  11. The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite film, so I may be biased but this sounds like the greatest wave ever. Especially the prices
  12. Yeah, people can literally make anything lego does evil, at this point. Release the razorcrest and it's overpriced garbage because it doesn't include the entire cast of the show, or worse, a greedy move to take advantage of the show's popularity. Don't, and it's a stupid decision and not giving fans what they want. Heck, people are complaining about the clone wars wave we're getting ALREADY, despite the fact that the sales of their non-movie based sets don't do as well, and we don't even know the figures besides 2 of the ones in grevious's ship and a few more we can reasonably assume will be in them (anakin and r2-d2 in anakin's interceptor, etc)
  13. 20th obi-wan came with a stand that technically had more pieces than the figure itself. (or as many if you include his lightsaber). Hasbro only really has an argument if it's ONLY the figure. I agree. So many people go "ahh lego's so greedy" whenever they do ANYTHING, forgetting that as a business the goal is to make money. Making a set a large amount of people want to buy is smart, and it's also in no way immoral.
  14. The 2019 one is REALLY easy to convert into an OT one, it's just a few parts that are DBG instead of LBG, for the most part.
  15. Most of the sets would be great, especially the gr-75 and duel-type bespin set, but if we get a falcon in 2021 i swear to god I will break the geneva convention
  16. I think hasbro complained about the minifigure-only bags or something, I forget.
  17. Personally I just collect hulkbusters in my Iron man suit collection, but Honestly it's $20 less than the heli and I can sell the other figures, so I don't really care how the hulkbuster looks.
  18. Let me guess, tatooine? I quite liked the endor one, I might have to end up buying the Boba helmet after all, and then a microfighter to pass the threshold if it's $75 again
  19. It doesn't really pick up until the end of season 2/start of season 3 (Which is also about where Thrawn and his TIE defender project come in), I'd encourage trying it again if you didn't watch it all the way through.
  20. Unfortunate. Hopefully we get a more accurate official figure for s2, although that custom one is great!
  21. Is there going to be a free gift for this wave?
  22. No, normal iron man red/gold hulkbuster, it comes with rescue though. Now I don't have to buy the hulk helicopter drop :)
  23. Without having physically been present for this exchange, I can't know exactly how he said it, but it seems extremely likely he was just worried that he would get in trouble for saying anything. Heck, the people at the stores near me got in trouble once and now they won't say ANYTHING, even if it's been officially revealed.
  24. Not in the films, in canon it's got the most screentime in the rebels tv show. (Great show if you can get past the first 1 and 1/2 seasons.)
  25. I might have to use that armor, is it an official part?
