  1. Lol, of course! In all seriousness minifigs will probably not be too numerous here, but I could see rebel friend for the nebuleon-b, or jedi bob for the gunship (bomber doesn't have any figures like that related too it, and also seems to have the least support), showing up in whichever UCS set ends up winning if enough people write them in. Probably it'd be something like clone pilot (x2) clone trooper, jedi bob, or rebel trooper, ESB luke, leia, rebel friend.
  2. I agree, people are getting way to angry about this, and now there's a ton of tangentially related comments about a poll for stuff that's not even lego? They might have some concepts for them, but they wouldn't get only one completely designed and ready, and lego doesn't strike me as type of company that would put out a poll and not actually listen to the results, nor as the type that would get one ready and just bank on it being the one that wins. As I've stated before, personally I'm hoping the nebuleon-b wins and we get a system scale gunship over the summer, but whichever one you voted for (AND whichever one ends up winning), I respect your choice as long as you REMEMBER TO BE CIVIL. This is a fun poll for a new lego set, and the worst thing we can do we already have. It doesn't matter if we're sending a prequel or OT message, or even if voting for those sets would send that message, because what this forum is sending right now is that UCS fans have no courtsey and can't have a logical debate with others. *Insert "how uncivilized" GIF here*
  3. Completely agree with everything you say here. It's important to note that this isn't a slight against the PT to vote nebuleon-b, but actually the smart choice for people who want a good, minifig-scale republic gunship with lots of figures to vote nebuleon-b. It's a win-win, and believe me, if we end up getting UCS nebuleon-b and system scale gunship, I'll be buying both Do you have any further reasoning behind this, or just like the design? Not trying to hurt your argument, most SW ships are bought bc people like the design, just wondering if there's anything else.
  4. I agree most people will vote for the nebuleon-b, because it's not only the only ship that's never been made by official lego, but the other two are better suited to (and long-overdue for) system-scale sets, whereas the complexity of the nebuleon-b's shape, leading to the necessary size and number of parts to show that shape without completely compromising structural integrity ensures that it really has to be done as a UCS set. Again, this is why I'm campaigning for the nebuleon-b. The other two need system-scale sets to be made soon, and a UCS set makes that much less likely.
  5. IDK about padme, but lots of potential for sets here. (and just a great trailer in general.)
  6. They do have some purple, but I disagree with the basis. The purple on the figure is more like splashes, not accents, like that somewhat annoying large purple splotch off-center on the helmet. And I know the figures appear to be brighter due to the low lighting in the scenes some of the background mandos are in, but these are brightly lit and definately not a medium azure. Yes, these sell out FAST in my experiance too. I managed to get the at-st raider day one from lego's online store, but it was incredibly difficult to track down the mando packs. (ended up getting them from a target) Wouldn't it be hilarious if they put him in enough cheap enough sets that he's worth like $3 on bricklink, with all that's happening with baby yoda merchandise?
  7. I think this is a supply and demand type thing, at least for some of it. People in general have more demand for rescue and the stark gauntlet, so their set costs more. I do think this is a solid set though. All the figures are great (except for whatever's going on with taskmaster's weapons, but as someone said that's marvel's fault, not lego), and the helicopter is amazing. It looks realistic, like a completed helicopter, and definately worth the money, all three of which are VERY rare in a marvel set.
  8. At least three of the designs were based on background characters, with the possible exception being the bright blue one with purple splotches.
  9. He does have some sort of sword and shield, but they're a spike piece and a 2x2 round dish. Not sure what they were thinking. I agree, the main parts of the set (helicopter and figures) both look excellent. If this is $30 or less I might pick it up.
  10. I know you have information sometimes, but I don't want to assume you're hinting at one because that's how false rumors start. Personally I think a capital ship is highly unlikely as the only one we've had recently is the ISD, and without any other information I think it's too early to tell. That said, if you are hinting that a capital ship is coming.........HOME ONE! HOME ONE! HOME ONE!
  11. I'm assuming this print is more expensive than angry clone, but then conversly it should be cheaper for them to just use a blank black head. Agreed that this is the best option, but I think the plain black head makes more sense than angry clone at least. I agree, a single face is fine, but not this angry clone, like you say it's the wrong sking tone and looks too angry. With the imps and first order, also agreed, literally any face is fine. Male or female, as long as they're human, they're accurate.
  12. That's got to be tough for collecting more figures, like you say. If you want to give TCW figures "normal" style heads you've got alot to choose from, but with TCW figures you only have so many options. I do think it's near-certain that if we get TCW season 7 sets the figures will look "normal", but you never know.
  13. Black widow looks pretty good. So does taskmaster, as far as I can tell. The image is pretty blurry, but the torso and mask print seem fine. As @THELEGOBATMAN said, the black hood is probably the best option since we can't get hood printing, and no leg print is to be expected.
  14. Unfortunately this isn't canon. Your design is incredible though! This looks absolutely amazing. I think you've got the best parts of your previous versions here, and the nose in particular is absolutely spectacular.
  15. Agreed, I get what they were going for but it didn't work. There are some things from the movies we need, but I think that not only do the mandalorian and TCW have more important missing things (the razorcrest, the literal main ship from mando for instance), but that many of them would make better-selling sets than stuff we're missing from the films. Look, I want more RO and solo sets too, but the main things we're missing there are figures. Anything with baby yoda, especially if it;s the razorcrest, will sell great, and as for TCW, we know that anything that so much as mentions mandalorians will sell like hotcakes, much less sets from a show that's going to have about a third of the episodes about the seige of mandalore.
  16. He'll certainly come with a sword and shield, maybe one of those double gun things. I think it probably would be
  17. Forgot about those. It may have been a budget thing, for a pack to introduce 4 new helmet colours, as well as 7 new torso/leg prints, it's probably wiser to go with the (assumably) cheaper cape. Not to say they couldn't do it though. I still think the mando pack is one of the greatest sets we've had in a long time.
  18. The cape style of the snowtrooper in the y-wing was your motivation to buy it? I've had the opposite you've reported, the only arms/torsos I've had break are from at least 10 years ago, with the exception of the thug from rey's speeder. (which was probably due to the box I accidently dropped on him) I think it depends on cape shape/paint,print, whatever you'd call what lando and phasma have
  19. I agree, but I have a theory as to why. The mando type capes are a different shape than the normal ones and it;s possible that lego for whatever reason just cant make that style cape in the softer type. The same apparently goes for printed capes like lando's from the newest falcon.
  20. I may have misspoke. What I meant was filoni is already working on Mando s2 right now. Even if he's working on both at the same time, I feel like we'd have 100% have heard something seeing as like you say it would have to be being animated right now. But we're getting waaay off topic.
  21. a 2020 release date seems really improbable seeing as filoni still has the mandalorian and this is the first we've heard of the show, but if the rumors of the show arriving at all are true, that would be pretty exciting! I don't know where you currently are, but a city as populated as new york seems like you'll have more of a problem.
  22. Wait are you saying she comes in the full white suit? *Proceeds to act as a dishonorable mercenary in feudal japan*
  23. Yelena has Natasha's IW vest over the suit though, no? I feel like lego would make that, like the marvel legends figure. I think our only chance for the white suit now is another set or polybag.
  24. No, they just want to get it without having to wait so long. Side note, my order of, like, the last 3 of them in stock on target was supposed to arrive "on or before" today, and it didn't. :_(
  25. Where did you see these rumors? And we'll almost certainly see ahsoka if we get any TCW season 7 sets, but the one with the blue outfit and sabers from the trailers. not a fully adult one. Still good though, the only ahsoka that's remotely cheap on bricklink is the one from the first seasons, which personally I think is the worst design.
