Commander cody (bigfig) and wrecker's armor Clearly they are both totally in-line with what you're talking about. Lego Vanee or whatever that guy's name is will be interesting and potentially helpful as a template for purist customs, but other than that I don't expect anything to come of it. -

People would want to display it with the wings out, so while they wouldn't necessarily have the wings splay out at the twist of a gear, they'd need the wings to shift somehow to change modes. My guess would be a gear-focused interior, or maybe even contraction friction joints. But like you say, it'll be a good few years, and depends on gunship sales. To try to be even remotely on-topic.... I can't see the bomber getting made. I forget if the official votes were given, but based on the confirmed gunship vote, how neck-and-neck it seemed on this forum and social media between the gunship and nebbie, and that at least from my personal experience I only saw two people say they voted for the bomber, and I'll make the educated guess that it didn't get many votes. If a set doesn't win but has significant interest, they'd probably do something down the line. Again with my guess towards the bomber's votes, "we won't be seeing him again", at least anytime soon. -

Jokes on you, it just arrived now...a half hour before I have to go to work. Not to worry, it'll be protected by *fantically looks around room*...Pahrak...a downsized AT-RT and...a boba fett brickheadz. I've just noticed Gonky is the wrong color. This is blasphemy, someone go burn down the lego house. -

Someone brought up trying to make human proportions with the official clone helmets, which might work. I want to say @Cylo had an aqua droid design that's at a similar size to what I'd imagine gunship-scaled clones would work at. You underestimate my laziness! The shuttle might not arrive for weeks, but I won't had to have gone to a store to purchase it. Jokes aside it's definately a loss for pre-orderers. Weird that shipping is disrupted so much, I've ordered during covid before, and they always arrived within a couple days. -

Dude, I literally make conscious attempts not to respond to you because every time I do you go off on me. And seriously, stop with the personal attacks against specifically me please? I'm not "unable to accept someone thinks differently than me", and I seriously don't know how you're getting that. I don't recall saying the phantom menace is bad (though that is my opinion). on the other hand, the main point of UCS sets aren't minifigures. That is objective, that's a fact, not an opinion. Also, I don't know if you noticed, but I talked about the stormtrooper helmets as well. TLDR: people can have opposing opinions, objective facts exist, and personal attacks are annoying, so please stop. Looking at the model, the cockpit gaps seem to be moreso to avoid a wider cockpit than to fit more figures. That's kind of the point of the mods, though. They allow argument, and they allow people to "attack" public figures who willingly make themselves part of the discussion by creating videos with titles like "lego designers think fans are dumb", and step in when it gets really bad. If someone said the types of things people say about mandr about, say, jang, they definately could get harsher treatment, but that's because jang isn't as...inflammatory, for lack of a better term. Agreed about the ARC-170, that'd be a beautiful model, though it might be tough to get the long wings built. Maybe they'd be technic? That could look nice. -

No yeah I agree, it's too light. Should have been the color they used for the clone commander, they look about the same shade to me. I was trying to avoid responding to you because of the intensity of your responses, but since you did this weird thing where you acted like you were trying to hide that you were talking about me and then talked about me asking a question about cancelling pre-orders on another thread, I'm gonna defend myself here, and I'm going to go all in. Let me explain these, since you seem to think I'm "gaslighting", "ridiculing", etc. First, yeah I was going to cancel the bad batch shuttle and then decided not to. I pre-ordered it when pre-orders became available and then considered cancelling it because I didn't like how the shuttle was looking. I didn't vote for the bad batch shuttle to be created, and I never ended up cancelling it, anyway. Not sure why you've got a problem with this. Now going through thing by thing. First sentence: we'll assume this is true. I don't know if you've noticed, but I WANT the gunship to sell well, and I honestly don't care that the nebbie didn't win, I don't even know where that part came from. Second sentence: This is a star wars discussion thread where we discuss sets, and since a lot is riding on this set's sales, yeah we're gonna discuss how it sells. Third: gaslighting is when you try to convince someone that something that's happening isn't real. Where's the application to this thread? Furthermore, I haven't seen anyone ridicule people who voted for a UCS gunship, rather for people who voted for the UCS gunship expecting a system sized gunship with figures not in the scene lego said the set was based on. Again as the "certain individual", I'll make clear two things. 1: I WANT THE GUNSHIP TO SELL WELL. and 2: I really don't care that the nebbie lost. I have literally never said that if people didn't buy it right away they never would. I did however say that the people using minifigures as an excuse to not buy the set are indeed being illogical and self-defeating for voting for a set and then not buying it, as it makes lego less likely to make more UCS prequel sets. Never said the only people who voted were teenagers who like prequels. (Though I'm guessing they are, which isn't an insult, just an educated guess). If you said what I said, but replaced gunship with the nebbie, no, you would not be banned lmao. Believe me, I do not enjoy special privileges from the mods. This last part is hilarious. I've made this distinction before. I like discussing and speculating about figures and I've never said that's bad. What I do think is dumb is saying a UCS set is bad, or you won't buy a UCS set you voted for, just because of the figures, which are a miniscule part of a UCS set. TLDR: 90% of this, including the claim I enjoy special treatment by mods and the ones of gaslighting, are just objectively false. You need to calm down, man. Pentaki would be a day 1 buy from me. I have this irrational wish for a UCS v-wing as the $200 1hy d2c, but I know how unlikely that is. Wait I hadn't thought of that. Guys, don't buy the gunship, it's uh, got subpar figures, and, uh, the parts are made with the same formula as 2007's lime ball sockets. (I should clarify this is a joke before people tell me I'm spreading misinformation lol) -

I saw that "and castle", how dare you put words in my mouth, I would never want a beloved subtheme to return after 8 years of no classic system sets! I'm not sure why certain people are implying people want the gunship to fail. No one wants the gunship to fail, or at the very least no one has stated so on this forum. -
What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Mandalorianknight replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You a fan of the Mandalorian, by any chance? Solid purchases, especially if you don't have an X-wing or TIE yet. My BB shuttle is on the way, and they STILL have not charged me. I got a receipt, but I don't see any money missing from my paypal or bank account. Aside from that I'm waiting before getting anything else, as some people are pretty intense about wanting them day 1 and I'm not super into anything but the shuttle. I figure I'll pick up the throne in a month or two, then get the marauder around christmas and scrap it for parts. I did purchase a Bohrok off ebay, of all things to get on the most anticipated day of the year for Lego Star wars fans. -

Welcome to the forums, by the way, I know you've been around for a week or so but I think I forgot to say welcome. The physical store thing always happens. AFAIK the lego store near me sells out of every modular building, UCS set, and many system sets (ToT, 501st pack, and weirdly enough Luke's Ach-to hut all sold out within an hour off the top of my head). The reason being that they only stock a few (Most are a dozen but I think someone said 25) of the UCS sets, and then you get lines upwards of a hundred people hours before they even open. I will say, I don't think cody's inclusion would have a meaningful impact. It's $350, I hope to god that people aren't basing a $350 set off whether or not a single minifig is included. I know there've been a fair amount of posts and comments from people who "were gonna get the gunship but won't since it's not including p2 cody", but I think most of those are either A: people who are buying it anyway and hyperbolizing since they want to share anger or be like their favorite youtuber, or B: people who voted for the gunship with no intention of purchasing it and want an excuse to back it up. -

As I predicted, the only one out of stock in america is the BB shuttle. ("I thought it was obvious"). You'd think the pre-orders would mean they'd have a better idea of how many they needed to produce, but I guess they underestimated how much people wanted gonky. Speaking of the shuttle, it shipped...and I still haven't been charged as far as I can tell. Odd, but I'm not complaining! -

Here we go! I initially thought I'd just have to rotate the wings and remove the gears, but it ended up being a lot more complicated and I had to completely re-do the second pod. I tried to get the more greebled feel of the shuttle as well. I'm not sold on the anti-studs, but since the shuttle opens the other way I thought flipping them looked a bit better and less like I rotated the bomber wings. Initially I tried some stuff with paneling, but it didn't come out right. Behind the cockpit, there's room for 6 blasters on a removable blaster rack, as well as room for six troopers in the other pod (I did some physical testing to see the most that could fit in that space). There are 5 sort of rough seats and 1 more comfortable seat for an officer. Again, let me know which ones you want to see next! I'll need a bit of help on this one as I can't seem to find any canon images besides the interior and back, which looks identical to the bomber. Is it the one they use in rebels? I cannot tell you how cool it is to me that a child I've never met enjoys the lego models I make for fun on the internet, it's crazy and really amazing when I think about it. I've started interceptor instructions, which will be free to forum members, followed by bomber instructions I might charge for, depending on how long the instructions take to make. -

You can't reserve it ahead of time, and there's ROUGH lines. I recommend getting up 10 minutes before they release on line and hitting the refresh to be honest. That makes sense. Yeah, I arrived at the woodfield lego store an hour before it opened jan 1 2021 and the line was over a hundred long, mostly middle aged men in mythosaur skull t-shirts (so I knew they were there for trouble on tatooine, not the modular). Unless your area is more rural, I'd order online if you want the gunship or shuttle. -

I can't tell what that says, but if it's what I'm assuming it says... "dear lego, @Agent Kallus is spreading a totally untrue conspiracy theory that I haven't paid for the havoc marauder. I totally have, no need to look into it at all. You should probably blacklist him from buying more sets, or redirect them to me. PS bring back bionicle" Meh, I figure for a gunmetal helmet with visor we've got s1 mando, and given the amount of beskar ones about to be in circulation it's not like you won't find a replacement silver one when using the gunmetal one for a moctrooper. Sine my only day 1 purchase is the preordered havoc marauder that I totally paid for, I'm able to sit back and grab some popcorn as the chaos unfolds. -

How does people complaining about the complaining affect you? Jokes aside, no one's saying you're not allowed to complain, people are just pointing out how illogical and self-defeating it is to vote for a $350 UCS set and then not get it because it didn't have some figures that weren't in the scene, or because the commander is a different shade of orange/yellow than they wanted. And there were definately a good few comments on this thread about it... I'm attempting to resist buying this immediately as I already got UCS slave one and the BB shuttle this summer...I'm so close to getting it, if it comes with a second set of Paz armor I may not be able to stop myelf. Speaking of the BB shuttle... I got a notification that it reached warehouse and "should be reaching me soon". Don't tell lego, but they haven't charged me yet... -

I'll be honest, I don't want them in a battlepack, I'd rather get one or two in a system set but keep the battlepack for p2 clones or other figures you'd want to amass. Depends how prominently they feature in later seasons, i guess. It'd be great. They can make a $30 v-wing with omega, -

Gunmetal ingot pieces work great. I think a marvel set recently had like 10 of them, so they're pretty cheap too. The difference is that we're speculating what the figures could be instead of screaming and lamenting that mustache rebel isn't in the AT-AT. Minifigs aren't the point of a UCS set, we discuss it, but most people here agree that they aren't important enough to make a UCS set good or bad. The fan vote made it worse, because people who voted for the gunship were saying they weren't going to buy it because of the figures. -

In season one the armorer has a mandalorian hologram when making the armor, so I think it's representing that, as it's the same size and it was also of the helmet, torso, and shoulder armor. The one at the end of episode 7 was comparatively larger and would work better on a 1x2x2 panel. -

Good point, bomber variations coming up! I think I'll do the interceptor free, and maybe sell the bomber, maybe. This is the only canon image I can find of the shuttle, so this'll be the basis Thank you!
