There is also the question, who would buy it. We got 2 playscale ones since the reboot. Lots of AFOLs got 2 and made a large one. In my opinion my version is already perfect. The only thing missing are black instead of grey technic pins. The first is quite cheaply available used... if lego releases another one once again more expensive than the ridiculously overpriced second one, I can see lots of patents buying the oder one on eBay. I agree. Maybe the flying car or a quidditch Icons collection.

I think, if they take the printed soccer field tiles, add the sand islands with the ring poles on each end and build some towers around it, it would be a pretty good quidditch field

I doubt it would be spinning like in the original, but I could see a recolour of the flee powder mechanism… just with a larger base and probably again with a sticker on the backwall xD

I have to say I am very happy to see how many many new child faces were released in the last years. I didn't notice a bunch of them like from despicable be and jurassic world.

What interests me the most would be how closed up it will be in the end. I'd love it to be a closed up model you can open up and pull rooms out. The opel siide of the great hall looks like there was something planned to be attached

Well, I said I'll ignore the prices and just jugde if the set looks good, so I would not use the budget limitations as an excuse in general, but even less, when the owlery has a compared to the boart house in my opinion terrible value for its price to beginn with. What shocks me is, that it is basically not a half tower, but a quater, which has a very limited ankle, where it looks ok... and even if wou buy 4 it is not possible to connect them properly. What annoys me throuout the whole Theme are roof pieces ending in a 1x1 stud. I'd like to at least have the Option to combine 2 Code pieces and have a closed tower/ roof.

I think the thought process was: "Ok, we need to sell an extremely expensive large set with an interior nobody cares enough about to miss it when replacing it with rooms we want to sell seperately. We have to put a few cool figures inside at least. Hey, this house ghost ist missing yet and we can include a fitting common room nobody cares too much about..." To be honest I have very mixed feelings about the line right now even, if I ignore the prices completely... It irritates me how there can be at the at the same time the best and worst version of Mc Gonnagal... how there can be such gorgeous Sets like Hagrids Hut and this pathetic owl tower. I hope the next wave gets better...

That´s the reason as a kid I loved the first 2 and lost interest with the 3rd. ... It became literally too dark. On our old TV, especially, when the sun was still shining, the movies were not watchable... xD

or Ernie... I think we will for sure get at least one new named student with the big tower set. Of course it is up to each on their own if you want to count a random robe/sweater, the generic kid face and a generic hairpiece an exclusive character.

That worries me... I really liked the speculated Idea of 4 big sets each coming with a common room and house ghost. I really hope we get the bloody Baron... Oh boy... the Designer of the in my opinion best small Potter Set... "polyjuce misstake" ... I hope the set Qualität will not suffer too much.

A proper Crookshanks would bd filling the worst gap we hsve right now in my opinion. Could the Grim have to do with the set planning process, so the introduction of the new mould was too close? I painted my old Fluffy a week ago. With black eyes, nose and white teeth he looks gorgeous and fits peefectly with modern creatures in my opinion just in case someone else destests the new version, too. What makes me think a bit... how long do you think this castle cycle will go? I mean, they can't keep Petting this amount of "Hogwarts Castle: ...." sets out for 4 years without retirering the old ones, can they?

Yes, I am getting nervous, too. There are lots of cool sets these years, but the Simpsons is my most favourite Lego theme of all time. Oh, where is the rumour about Sideshow Bob from? I would not have expected him.

Displaying scenes is a neat approach. Right now I have about 50 individual students right now. For some named ones I have certain places planned like Finnigan producing an explosion in the potions class. I made a Slytherin student with a face clearly laughing about him standing a row behindert him and a confused looking student next to him. Neville will be wandering throug a corridor looking confused what he forgot and so on. Quirrel will be standing next to the mirror trying to figure out, how to get the stone. I could see Harry and Draco duelling. Got the old cobra piece for that scene. The one character that will 100% appear twice is Hermione. Cat Hermline behind one toilet cabin is too iconic to not include next to her Standard appearance

Now I am torn between waiting and hoping for an improved version and buying somw players now. With so many figures being severe downgrades the prices for the ok-ish figures could climb up pretty fast... On the other hand that is what they are... just somewhat "ok". I am sure we will get something quidditch-field-like. It is a part of Hogwarts and we are going to get the "most detailed one", aren't we? A full stadion... I doubt it. Certainly not 7 players for each team, even if they give us only 2 teams. And fillig the stadion would require an insane amount of figures.

Do you think we will see an improved version of the Quidditch outfits? With the hood body wear piece and cape I am quite happy, but they need printed legs...

I think they will make them fit in a pot, so I assume either the plant piece from the Neville cmf or a round brick. How do you guys display your castle? Is it full with several versions of the trio as well as clones of Draco and so on? Right now I am planning on only using 1 iconic version of each character... on the other hand it would be tempting to let Hagrid in his suit be somewhere with Madame Maxime, too... maybe showing of some of his creatures.

I build the geat hall yesterday. I am not impressed. The gateway is ridiculously small... the 2018 one had so much more lovely details like the inverted slopes to give the highest windows some shape... the Sky looks so bad... it desperately needs a bunch of blue inverted tiles printed with golden stars or something... Professor vector should have used the cmf 12 Princess hat. I will have to change the complete thing as soon the other sets came out, so I can plan.

What do you think? Willnwe see the Pack with different wand moulds from the Olivanders store set again? Do we know which mould belongs to which wizard? I guess the snake head is for Lucius Malfoy, just useless in that colour.
