Am I the only one with a missprint in the Simpsons GWP? My sail boat picture has a white frame :(

^ This. I watched every single Simpsons episode up to Season 30 and took notes/ made screenshots for eastereggs to include in my Moes Tavern Moc. The amount of child friendly gags you could reference as eastereggs is much smaller than for example in the Krusty Burger.

Where is lego using bars? I doubt it and I don´t care to be honest. Made a Moc with dozens of custom prints and resin printed head pieces. I expect an Android´s dungeon.

Ok, then I should get the gwp. I am not sure about the house. It would Requiem 2 rows of bricks to make it pink inside. In tan it just does not look good. There is a little bubbleheadline with simpsons heads. You can just pull Skinners head of and use it for Lego. Looks perfect. Sadly they don't have Chalmers.

This. Compared to the price tag. The sky with antistuds is disgustingly ugly, the externer looks just stupid compared to the way they ornamented roof and pointy Windows of the 2018 one looks.

I dont get it... Hagrids Hut was so cute with so much detail fully enclosed... the boathouse was awesome, the potions classroom probably the best potter set ever... and then we get stuff like this. The great hall looks in comparison to the gorgeous 2018 one like Barbie to a normal human body... the main hal is not even connected to the Main tower... not even a 1 stud thin wall, but no Front wall at all... the interior is so boring.

Does anybody know, if the living room gwp really uses prints? If so, could it be the indicator for a new house? like the Fellbeast wings were reused for the Balrog.

I think there are 2 definitions of playsets. One side says they are the sets children actually players with/the sets targeted at children. The other side uses playset as synonym for minifigure scale with players features.

I doubt they would do generic Durmstrang students or something like that.

Would someone be interested in modifying the current castle together? I made a few improvements at the great hall and designed a good Hufflepuff common room until now.

I am curious about how the flying lesson will connect. My guess at the moment is, that the castle will show the iconic front in the blurred image and the backside is open. So the next wäre can give us like two towers, which are opennon the backside with a viaduct in front of it to Connecticut to the castle

The big issue with the house is that it needs to be pink on the inside to not suck for fans these days in terms of accuracy, but then it wont have the appeal to generic City builders, who would get the house and sell the figures like in 2014

The sign and roof suck. I also do not care about the car. Dissapointing. I want to see the Interior. Maybe it offers enough to buy the set and fix the issues.

I am not that sure about it. The first two are the big thing for me and many others. I adore every second of them. They feel warm and cozy. I watch them every Christmas. With the new producer in the third one everything became so dark... I mean, litterally dark. I wasn´t able so see anything in large parts of them as a kid. As a teacher I once asked students and lots of them said the same while growing up with all of them unlike me, so it does not seem to be purely my bias about childhood memories. Many even said, they stopped watching them after the 5th movie. Personally I´d be fine with it being focussed on the first 2.

Ok, if i understand it correctly, the great hall will be retiring next year? That means Lego will either end the castle with a 3rd big part 2026 or rerelease the great hall again in 2027... then probably retiring the tower rereleasing it 2028... maybe we get a new big part in 2029 then completing it for the ones, who collected from the beginning? That sounds so different from anything Lego ever did before... I guess it will stay with 3 big sets. I hope, they'll give us the bloody Baron and a new Professor.

Wouldn't that be a problem with those parts of the castle that aren't used much in lots of different films?

I bought it day 1 for 140€... otherwise I would not have startet with the new system.

Which one, if you don't mind my asking? I agree. The AC is pretty useless for me as an adult, who just builds on his castle, but I would have adored it as a kid and played with the animals and buildable potions for hours.

Hm... I like the new broomstick. I am pretty dissapointed, when it comes to the minifigures... Does one of the new students recycle Hermione's face? :/ the herbiology class would have been the perfect Opportunismus to recolour the Hiddensee side hairpiece with heasdhones for Hermione.
