Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

Umbridges office would be a quite boring elemment of the set and the most relevant thing happening is the torture of minors. I doubt it become a relevant part. maybe some pink background and a few tiles with cat stickers.. DADA is by far the most boring year when Umbridge only let them read theoretical texts. I think we can be sure the class room will be based upon Lupins class from POA with Lockhard already present in the duelling club. I´d bet my money on the room of requirements. Interesting location, kid friendly and very few care, if it is placed differently. -

Meh... I painted eyes, nose and teeth at the original first one. Looks in my opinion much superior to the new one. Without the custom paintjob they are about on the same level. I hope, he becomes popular, so I can sell mine when getting the set. -

I have to say I like the greenhouse concept very much, if you ignore the exorbitant price. I sadly do not like the face print of the leaked mandrake. It will be interesting to see the minifigs. I hope for a recolour of the female hairpiece with ear protection. I love the grand staircase concept. I care mostly about the first two movies. If they make next years expansion about CoS with the chamber, Basilisk and especially the bloody Baron, I am happy. Sadly Kettleburn sucks with that hairpiece in my opinion. I really hope for a 4th wave. -

May I ask where I can find them? -

I guess they kept Skinner back for a potential series 3. -

I can't believe they include queaky voice Teen and Office Lou. Those two seen so random, I get the feeling we will see more Simpsons. -

Well... there are also people wearing glasses just for fashion reason... I wear my contact lenses only when I am doing stuff that is difficult wirh my glasses. Well, it is just the same with the cmfs. Wheelchair racer, legless runner, asttonomy kid... It isn't the best Idea to make diverity the least popular thing you could get in a lottery... i love the design of this one new ponytail heaipiece. It would look so great on Luna... sadly it has a mollded hearing device. I with they made those exclusively as prints on the side of heads. That way I can remove them witv a bit of polishing and use the head for medieval fantasy stuff... What actually annoys me is that they never did the "how to be a knight" book-boy as a physical minifig. His medieval wheelchair would have been in deed usefull. Well, to be honest I don't care. If you'd offer me silver legs after a car crash, I'd gladly take those over a wheel chair. -

Well the can remove your whole scelleton and let it grow again. They have prosthetics superior to your normal limbs like Mad eye's eye or can shape new limbs within seconds (maybe a less powerfull Wizard than Voldemord needs more time for that, but it should be managable. Otherwise you will just see a professional doctor)... I don't want to be distastefull, but in this fantasy world Winchester and wizards do not need wheelchairs except for short term medical conditions. -

Like others said, he is clearly a very pale guy with a marble-like skin colour. I was just as annoyed to see Eragon in blond with the book mentioning his brown hair on a regular basis. Personally I also count the first Panini sticker album. Those illustrations were drawn, so the exact Design JK had in mind at that time. I am in fact open to changes, if they bring value. Like lord of the rings' Theoden being insecure but then lifted up by Aragorn. I also love how they treated Haldir... Denethor not very much. But just changimg something because "why not?" Is stupid. Lots of Fans care and those people carried the IP often from day 1. -

The difference is that those shows as well as the classic Mermaid have proofen themself before. They are popular, so sets did/will sell. I think it will depend on what the set has to offer. The fantastic beast movies were no cinenatic masterpieces, but they gave us the Niffler. You need to be a Monster to not find him adorable. Not that many people want an African American Snape figure on the other hand. Personally I'd buy HBO series sets, if they offer enough for the money. Students with new child face prints, pretty class rooms and so on. Unseen teachers and Peeves are also welcome. -
I have to say... I don't get it. The last years lego was - for me - pretty cheap. They did not release much, I'd like to have even for free, so I only bought like one set and then bricklinked some new parts... Now we have: - Simpsons Krusty Burger - Lotr Shire - most detailed Hogwarts castle - Black pearl - non-sucking modular building (except for the great hotel most were pretty "meh" the last lears) - Arham Asylum - beauty and the beast castle As well as tons of cool pieces like the new gargoyles, gorgeous two-face- minifig... Do all these huge special sets not share quite a large amount of Potential customers with a limited Lego budget?
-
It is gorgeous, but I have to say I preferred the printed tile for the door

Not sure. The Chamber needs the head of slytherin, which is only integrateable into a large room. Without the option to slide down from a bathroom to the chamber something would be missing... I expect the chamber, if it will be done, to be part of a larger structure. and much more expenaive. -

Just saw a new leak video. Sideshow Bob is confirmed, the old moulded heads are mentioned again. I am looking forward to it. I hope we will be getting more New characters. Kruste Burger would be perfect to sit Wiggum with one of his men at one table. -

To be honest I think the Hufflepuff common room and McGonnagals Class are so bad there is nothing lost replacing them, too. And I think Lego is planning this way, too. There is a reason why the potions class is shown to replace the disgracefully bad common room. I guess they will they make the other 3 similar. The onlyissue is for nerds like me, who want the rooms and moc them so there is room missing xD By the way: i just realised the notre dame window is great for the new castle. 2 Studs deep, looks phänomenal from one side. The other one is hidden anyways with the way rooms are slided inside the building -

I think it depends on the room. I love the potions classroom. I would have preferred polyjuce mistake to have the correct inner wall colours over an exterior, too. Rooms with the same wall colour inside and outside should use that on the other hand like the great hall. I prefer it to become more expensive than having something like the simpsons house living room with tan walls. -

I think what should be included in a perfect model: - classrooms we see in the movies + flying lesson and greenhouses - 4 common rooms - great hall - chamber of secrets - Tasks from philosophers stone or at least Fluffy and the mirror - at least one large bathroom with Myrthe, the troll, and the bathing tub with goldenen egg and meremaid window. Better seperated. - grand staircase - hospital wing - library - dumbledore's Office - room of requirements - hagrids hut... (- i know it is a fanboy fantasy, but I'd love to also see a little history class room with sleeping students and the ghost professor) When it comes to the exterior I think the folowing is enough: - great hall - Boat house - Main tower - Clock tower - Astronomy Tower - Viaduct - Womping willow - enough buildings to fit the rooms -

Is the wooden bridge the suspension bridge? I could see them making the whole complex around the south courtyard a building with space for 2 rooms as part of the grand staircase tower set... and then making the clock tower a 80€ Set like the flying lesson... then they could make the astronomy tower with viaduct the last great expansion. Or they do 4 years and make astronomy tower and viaduct separate sets.... seems we will have to moc a lot. -

What would interest me is how the whole thing is meant to be put together. Will it be like an u-form with the backside open? Will there be several rows of sets bihind each with an underground section? -

I am less working with a price per piece comparison and more with price per emotion/memory, when it comes to Lego. PS was cute with Harry winning his first game and Snape getting grilled. CoS is quite memorable with Harry nearly dying. In PoA he gets attacked by the Dementors and his broom destroyed. I am not sure in which book Ron becomes a team member. I can see a 200€ set without any issue... 500€ is very much for that compared to the amount of story happening in other sets much cheaper sets. It wouldbe interesting to me, if the set would then be meant to be a part of the most detailed Hogwarts ever. Personally I just want 1 version of each character in my Display and I already put all the Gryffindor and Slytherin players in School robes. On my display there will be a game Ravenclaw vs. Hufflepuff filled with cool looking, but generic players. -

The question is with which level of detail you are satisfied with. To me they need the hood piece and a fitting cape. Without leg priiting those are still just somewhat "ok-ish". Just a printed torso without anything else is to me just mildly better than taking an unprinted white figure and write Quidditch player with a pen on it. I also got dozens printed medium cmf legs, so my students with robes do not have to use unprinted legs...
