  1. That's still an opinion, not a fact. If you factor in everything included in the set and compare it to how final set prices are generally finalised there's nothing wrong with the price of this set. It may be a bit on the expensive side but that's what you get with a licensed theme, 2 dinosaurs and several other large molds. Now can we please move on from this pointless discussion?
  2. It's incredibly obvious that anyone would opt for the lower price if given a choice but that doesn't mean the initial price set by LEGO isn't worth it. Based on your arguments and ''evidence'' I'm also gonna have to assume that you have absolutely no idea whatsoever what determines the price for a specific set.
  3. MandR is a member of LAN and represents the company to a certain extent. I would've been surprised if they let this slide.
  4. I'm not really sure why this would be considered ''ridiculous behaviour'' on LEGO's part. MandR is a member of the LEGO Ambassadar Network and represents the company to an extent so LEGO asking him to take this down isn't weird in the slightest. He obviously knew what he was doing so this ''punishment'' seems appropriate in my eyes, take in mind they could've just as easily kicked him from LAN
  5. Sounds like you won't have much too look forward to this year then in terms of LEGO JW.
  6. Like I said it has 2 amazing dinosaurs, fantastic figures, a great (and actually usefull) build and for ''only'' $100 when (looking at LEGO's past) they could've easily asked $120 for it. So yes, I wanted to pay that for it and did so. You are obviously allowed to have your opinion but there is no ''evidence'', as you call it, to back up that the price is factually too high. Those 2 dinosaurs, the gyrosphere and the numerous larger-than-normal pieces really bump up the price for this set. Factually speaking the price for this set is fine, wether or not you personally agree with that is your decision.
  7. 2021 is a very expensive year for the 3 themes I'm into so if the set is crap there's no way I'll drop 300 euro on it
  8. If this was any other non-dinosaur licensed theme you would've had to pay $60 for this set without the dinosaurs. These sets are expensive but the points you're making don't make much sense. It's a set with 2 amazing dinosaurs, fantastic figures and a great (and actually usefull) build. It's worth it's price.
  9. They could've easily made that set $10-20 more than what it ended up being. It's by far the best set this theme has gotten so far.
  10. We don't know how the budget for the entire 2021 lineup was planned out so there's really no point in guessing. If I were to make a guess I wouldn't count on more than 2 new species.
  11. If a bald Thanos figure would be exclusive to a set like that I'd rather never see that fig being produced at all
  12. Sanctuary II isn't really an iconic ship though, which makes me doubt LEGO would put it at a $300 pricepoint. Pretty risky.
  13. I've seen that going around too but it's definetely fake. If they were planning to release a $300 Hedwig statue they wouldn't have released a $40 one last year and there is no info out there to suggest Harry Potter is getting 2 D2C's this year. These ''leakers'' and their hunt for their 5 minutes of fame are becoming more pathetic every day
  14. I should probably specify that this set has an estimated 1HY release, not necessarily Q1.
  15. That looks amazing!
  16. I highly doubt something like that would sell well (not that it's something LEGO would even consider making).
  17. I think 2 more 16x32 baseplates would be a reasonable expectation.
  18. Well we don't actually know if the 2021 sets are non-JWD stuff, they might be ''vaguely based on'' like the Dilophosaurus Outpost set we got in 2018. From what I've heard myself the theme does pretty well but not well enough to appear in the financial reports (take in mind this theme doesn't get many sets per year).
  19. If it wasn't associated with Christmas it wouldn't be a Slug Club Christmas party would it?
  20. I completely agree. If a movie sucks it's usually the director, writer or studio meddling but the producers usually don't really have anything to do with it. Even Jurassic has it's experience in that field (JPIII and FK). People praising Filoni honestly annoy me more than those bashing Kennedy. All those people act like he's some kind of Star Wars god yet (and this is personal) The Clone Wars is very much a mixed bag, it has amazing but also downright awfull episodes, and the episodes of the Mandalorian he made are all near the bottom of my ranking.
  21. Why would they base an Advent Calendar on a wedding that happened in august though?
  22. There's a big difference between discussing the flaws in a set or focusing on a single flaw and talking about that for days on end. You're probably gonna have to wait a while. The Brexit really complicated things when it comes to international deliveries.
  23. Great to finally have official confirmation!
  24. So why do you prefer Universal over Disney? Disney may not be the best company in the world but unlike Universal they would actually use the franchise to it's full potential. The way Universal treats this franchise honestly annoys me to no end.
