  1. Should be a global release but don't quote me on that.
  2. These sets were always planned for August so it's really not that weird. And if the JWD sets release as planned in April 2022 that's still a solid 8 months between waves. EDIT: ninja'd
  3. Never say never but I wouldn't expect anything soon considering these sets will release in August.
  4. Definitely not the only possibility.
  5. That's nice, really like the Triceratops from that theme.
  6. Spinosaurus is a bit different to Rexy as there's no way he could've possibly survived, while Rexy just received some minor injuries and that's it. Of course people would love to see the Spinosaurus again, it has always been my favorite dinosaur so I'm also one of those people, but the argument in question was specifically about the return of JPIII's Spinosaurus. Uhm, no? If you want to start an argument with someone on a certain topic you have to be prepared to see it through to the end, not just completely change your position in the matter after getting a counter argument.
  7. Changing the point of your argument after you've lost, real mature
  8. Let's look at the information we have shall we? The Spinosaurus was illegally cloned in ignorance of the Gene Guard Act, which was established in 1997 as a reaction to the San Diego incident. The Spinosaurus' genetic structure is unstable, lowering it’s chances at long-term survival and resulting in the creature showcasing agressive, unnatural, unpredictable and territorial behaviour. The publishing of several classified InGen documents revealed that the list of illegally bred species consisted of Ankylosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus and Spinosaurus. The living conditions on Isla Sorna during it's abandonment (1993 - 2003) were negatively impacted by the following causes: - Many territorial disputes between species. - The island was riddled with disease (look at what happened to Isla Nublar between 2015 and 2018 and add 7 years to that). - Unnatural behaviour showcased by several species. - Poacher vessels that were spotted around the island, meaning poachers were roaming the island from time to time. Sorna lay abandoned untill late 2003 / early 2004, when Masrani Global established itself on the island and soon started an operation to transport the surviving dinosaur population to their new facilities on Isla Nublar. Isla Sorna's population of Ankylosaurusses (who were created under the same conditions as Spinosaurus) were extinct by 2004, prompting InGen to clone 6 new individuals in their labs on Nublar. Several unspecified carnivorous species were reported to have fallen back into extinction after being moved to Nublar, it is unknown wether InGen recreated these species like the Ankylosaurusses. There are only 2 dinosaurs that were explicitely specified to have been moved from Isla Sorna to Nublar in canon. An old and scarred female Brachiosaurus named Olive and a female Velociraptor who was put down after she murdered an intern. Despite not being illegally cloned this Velociraptor also showcased strange behaviour. In conclusion: there are several factors one has to take in mind when talking about the survival chances of the Spinosaurus, especially the injuries it sustained during the events of the film have to be taken into consideration. So let's now take a look at everything that would've made this individuals life post-JPIII rather difficult: - It sustained an injury to it's sail when it got hit by a plane. - It sustained (severe) burn wounds when Paul ignited the petroleum the Spinosaurus was standing in. - There are many other dinosaurs roaming the island, ones very capable of defending themselves against the Spinosaurus. - Isla Sorna is riddled with diseases. Without proper treatment it's already unlikely that the Spinosaurus would survive the eventual contamination of his burn wounds, assuming the best-case scenario happens it would leave him in a very weakened state. We know there are many carnivores left on the island and numerous herbivores that won't go down without a fight which means hunting isn't an option for this creature as it'll lose. It could instead go after other weakened dinosaurs that are an easier prey but there's a very good chance that they'll carry some kind of disease with them. One counter-argument one could make is the fact that the Spinosaurus ate fish but we don't know anything about the fish population on Sorna and how the eventual collapse of the islands ecosystem affected that. Looking at all the evidence found in canon it's highly unlikely, if not impossible, that the individual Spinosaurus seen in JPIII is still alive by 2015. The following is a theory of mine but I believe the Spinosaurus eventually paved the way for the creation of it's cousins in the Spinosauridae family: Baryonyx and Suchomimus. We know they were on display in the park in 2015 and they both have a similar genetic makeup to the Spinosaurus, not to mention that the Baryonyx was one of the specimens Doctor Wu wanted to get his hands on most in the early 2000's and Suchomimus' samples were already 75% complete by 1996. Last but not least: it's possible that Jurassic World eventually cloned a new Spinosaurus for their park but even if they did it would've perished when Mount Sibo erupted in 2018 as there was no mention of the creature on the Arcadia's shipping manifest. There is of course a possibility that we might see another Spino in Jurassic World: Dominion but that would also have to be a brand new individual created by one of the many companies who have now gotten their hands on InGens specimens (like Biosyn). Because we all know what Dr Malcolm told us at the end of Fallen Kingdom: "Genetic power has now been unleashed". drops mic Sure but Sorna was completely abandoned between 1993 and 2003. There were recordings of territorial disputes, the island was riddled with disease, the appearance of poachers was fairly common and the ecosystem as it stood was completely disrupted by InGen's illegally cloned species. I can't read minds but I don't think anyone could possibly see such a situation as one in which the Spinosaurus would've received ''proper food and treatment''. Frontier was given some small bits of info on FK back in 2017 when the game was in development, they knew nothing about the story itself. Do you really think Universal would keep their lips sealed when it came to Fallen Kingdom, the movie this game would release alongside, but spill the beans on Dominion? And that's ignoring the fact that Dominion hadn't even been written at that point in time
  9. Marvel just uploaded this. Definitely worth a watch if you're not familiar with the Eternals characters yet!
  10. Guess you haven't followed the viral marketing for the movies and read EoC then.
  11. Can't 100% confirm these are SM3 sets but it seems like a nobrainer. LEGO can be pretty stupid at times but they wouldn't be so stupid as to release a wave of comic Spidey sets in the timeframe the SM3 sets would come out. As for the current info I do have some theories but these aren't really based on information I have, more so just my own thinking. 1 - The setnumbers are correct but the prices are wrong. 2 - This isn't the entire SM3 lineup. 3 - The information is correct but Promobricks messed up and these aren't Spidey-related sets (unlikely).
  12. Considering most sets are designed 1,5 year in advance I'd say there's a very good chance these will in fact be more Square Enix sets. Which is awfull as literally anything else would be better, even comics (which I personally don't care about at all).
  13. The only Spinosaurus on Nublar is the skeleton on Mainstreet, there's an individual that was supposed to be in Fallen Kingdom but that got cut and thus isn't canon. I'll eat my shoe if we ever get a Brachiosaurus, I can see the Mosasaurus happening but I'm not counting on it. JWE isn't canon.
  14. More SM3 and D+ sets, among other things. Can't really elaborate on it much further in case some of the info does turn out to be partially true.
  15. And regarding the JPIII Spinosaurus: only 2 dinosaurs have been officially confirmed to have come from Sorna, Olive the Brachiosaurus and an unnamed Velociraptor who was put down shortly after being transferred to Nublar. Masrani Global had operations on Sorna so if the Spinosaurus was still alive and not among the dinosaurs that perished we would've heard something about that by now unless they do some lazy retcon, which I find unlikely.
  16. I think the sourcematerial for these Avengers sets will also give us a good idea of what the AC will be based on.
  17. It's not on Nublar and Sorna was wiped clean, so yeah it's dead. That teaser image also didn't really mean anything beyond that Sorna will get referenced, which isn't surprising because there were a lot of complaints about Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom largely ignoring the existence of TLW and JPIII. I also wouldn't look at Jurassic Park's 25th anniversary for reference as JPIII wasn't well received and to this day is still hated by many fans of the franchise. Will we get a LEGO Spinosaurus in a future set? Probably. Will it be included in a JPIII set? Unlikely. Not to mention that Spinosaurus isn't on the list of confirmed JWD dinosaurs/creatures yet.
  18. She's a major character in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness so we'll get her in early 2022 regardless.
  19. Nothing but pancakecrocodile asked where this YouTuber got the information from, which is kinda obvious if you watch the video.
  20. UCS sets are all Star Wars so what you're referring to is a D2C. And considering we're already getting a D2C ($300) and there are other normal sets going up to this pricepoint this is definitely not a D2C set.
  21. Well considering the (unreleased) rumors I had heard before this I gotta say this news is very disappointing all around.
  22. It's Duplo. And you can literally see his browser in the video, not hard to see where he got this info from Welcome to EB! It's likely that we'll get a Spinosaurus sometime soon but not because of the reason you listed as JWD will take place on the mainland, not Sorna, and the Spinosaurus from JPIII is already dead. I also wouldn't say something is ''almost fully confirmed'' just based on a theory made without insider knowledge.
  23. Scratches "officially immortalised as LEGO'' off bucketlist
  24. Honestly what were you expecting? This is a UCS set, not MBS.
