  1. Nope, just put the 2020 one in Photoshop and replaced it's main color.
  2. But by changing the sets release from a convention-exclusive to a US-exclusive it does feel like they went back on their word, even if it's technically incorrect.
  3. While the comics may have their fanbase and Uatu will be in What If? he's still a very niche character and we're talking about a $300 set here. It's far from realistic to expect something like this just like it would be unrealistic to expect an Eternals D2C or a GotG D2C back when it came out in 2014. These big D2C's obviously don't get sold as much as smaller sets, it's way too much of a risk for LEGO. Generally I think people need to lower their expectations for this D2C. Take in mind the last 2 were (objectively) both really disappointing and honestly kinda crap.
  4. We're getting one D2C this year, retailing at $249.99 and speculated to be a Diagon Alley expansion. The sets (or at least the first wave of sets) are likely to be revealed around the end of april.
  5. I was obviously talking about merchandising.
  6. I hope so. I'd go nuts for a set with the grey/red CC truck and a Sinoceratops.
  7. Trevorrow confirmed CC S3. Fingers crossed we get some CC sets soon.
  8. Universal wants to focus on World as much as possible, they've done so for the last 5 years.
  9. Looking at the stuff LEGO has made these past few years (Stranger Things, Colosseum and the upcoming Titanic for example) I wouldn't say that's a problem. The problem here is Universal.
  10. Universal actively tries to ignore the original films and the D2C flopped hard so I wouldn't expect any more JP Trilogy sets. If we do get more I'll be pleasantly surprised but I doubt it.
  11. I honestly doubt that, especially as that has been ''rumored'' for months now. I wouldn't be surprised if they delay it again but I'm confident they'll release it as currently planned, most likely as a dual-released film.
  12. That would be cool but I'm not sure how LEGO would look at an idea like that. The Milano has it's fanbase but in the end it's a ship that only appeared in 1-and-a-bit movie and has since been replaced by the Benatar, which is already 3 years ago from a merchandising pov.
  13. Let's just say that I'm personally confident on Lowery being included in a future product. Can't elaborate much more on that and don't take it as confirmation of any kind.
  14. It's really not that bad a piece, if anything her face needs to go. That smile just looks evil
  15. While I could see them do that I do feel like a decision like that would be downright unacceptable. The Y1/2 Hermione hairpiece is literally perfect for Claire's new look, just needs a recolor.
  16. While I'm getting a bit sick of Owen I am looking forward to Claire's JWD variant. That figure will look great with a recolor of Hermione's Y1/2 hairpiece
  17. Benjamin Lockwood and Iris would beg to differ And I guess we can count Mills as well, that figure was just pathetic. No to brag but my custom is ''mills'' better: That pun was just horrible
  18. That can be the case but that doesn't make a set bad, nor does it mean we have to alter our opinions to coincide with yours. LEGO is a premium product, always has been. They aren't going to change their entire business strategy just because someone can't afford it, those people will always exist for any type of product at any given pricepoint. There's really no reason to criticize LEGO's business decisions based on your own financial situation like you've been doing all day long. If you have less money you can afford less stuff and most of those cuts will come with non-essential products, of which LEGO is a prime example. If you can't afford to get the sets you want because of your financial situation that sucks but you can't use it as an argument to say LEGO needs to lower their prices. We've already discussed this multiple times, doing it again is a waste of time.
  19. Wouldn't make much sense to be a new figure considering it'll most likely be based on ESB.
  20. We don't really know anything about the Giganotosaurus' role in the film, if it's even in the film to begin with. Sam Neill has said himself that he's no dinosaur expert so it's definetely possible he mixed something up. I do think this Giganotosaurus (or whatever other theropod it may be) will show up in a set, as to which one I have no clue. Could be literally any one of the higher-priced sets
  21. I think you can definetely count on those 3 being spread out over the most expensive sets the JWD range has to offer
  22. Jurassic World: Dominion has a huge cast so unless they skipped a bunch of characters I definetely think Owen and Claire won't appear in every single set. Wether or not we'll see the benefits of JWD's huge cast in the 2021 lineup remains to be seen
  23. Really hoped they would actually do that when they aquired Bricklink but alas, BL sellers are still abusing B&P
