  1. Is it 3626bpb0091 White Minifigure, Head (Without Face) Alpha Team Arctic Red, Blue, Yellow Ogel Orb Pattern - Blocked Open Stud
  2. I was trying to figure out the relevance of the bike. I don't really know LOTR. Researching his horse got me to "The White Rider" hopefully this is the twist you were after.
  3. Great posts by the way.
  4. Wow. This is a massive coincidence that you are always talking about people opening and returning sets and then you get one. I don't actually know anyone who has had this happen to them. Anyway a Google search of "31093 Lego review" gives you some Youtube links and the second one (linked below) shows the reviewer opening the box to reveal the instructions and 4 unnumbered bags. Look at 41 seconds for the bags. That being said you can just look at the instruction book and it has a list of all the pieces. Since the bags are clear you can compare the pieces in the instructions with what you have in your bags. Not my video
  5. Just wondering if anyone has the Clayface Invasion Batcave and the Batwing. If so can you tell me the height of the top of the Batwing when it is placed onto the dock above the jail in the Batcave. Thanks.
  6. Technically, however it didn't get the majority of votes. That is the problem with first past the post. I don't remember the exact poll numbers but if it was 2 for 12, 4 for 5, 4 for 15 and 7 for 6, then 6 is in the lead although lets say the people who voted for 5, 12 and 15 had 6 as their last choice. It would mean that 10 people like 5 and 15 and only 7 like 6 - technically they would be more popular than 6. You do see this sort of scenario in politics a lot if you have say 1 left wing and 2 right wing candidates and the right wing votes end up shared between 3 people. It is why you have preferential voting systems (although in this case I don't think that 5 or 15 will beat 6). Voted for 6 again myself.
  7. It was very close between 6 and 15 for me. I ended up going with 6 because the wrestler minifigure in 15 annoys me for some reason.
  8. Missed the vote - but my vote for DFB wouldn't have mattered anyway.
  9. 6 for me. The historical minifigures won this one for me.
  10. In my experience Lego is more affordable for kids than it used to be. I have a look back at what my parents bought me for birthdays and Christmas and it is similar to the small sets these days. As a kid I could never afford a Lego set and would only get them as presents. Although back in my day pocket money was minimal - it seems to me kids get a lot more spending money than they used to (and money as a gift which would have never happened when I was a kid). But with a lot of questions like this it is quite subjective. It really depends on the circumstances of the kids and the parents.
  11. 5 for the minifigs, 19 for the accessories (those animals). Ended up giving my vote to 19.
  12. Lego Movie 2. Although I am really voting for Wizard of Oz. Not interested in the other minifigs in that series. Special mention for me is Vacation "Killing Joke" Joker from TLBM 2. One of the most sadistic Jokers in Lego form.
  13. I'm looking forward to an 8 wide change. I don't have a city for my cars to go with so for me if the look more realistically proportioned then it is a big bonus.
  14. I had to go 6 for the historical figures. 19 second for the animals (although there are not heaps of these).
  15. I think that as long as they have the ability to make money from it they should keep making it. I only got into Lego about 4 years ago (in my mid 30's) and about 30% of the sets I have bought are Star Wars sets. These would have all been re-releases or at least different sizes of previous releases. I only have a couple more Star Wars vehicles I want to buy and I will likely no longer buy Star Wars anymore. By all means I am not a huge Star Wars collector, only really have original trilogy sets with a couple of exceptions, however I am sure there are many people like me who will get into this hobby over the next few years and want to buy that classic X-Wing, Millennium Falcon, Tie-Fighter. While I'm sure having recent movies or shows will increase younger audiences (and potentially new audiences or set designs) there must still be more than enough people wanting to buy these sets for themselves, or for their new kids/nephews/nieces etc. This constant breeding that keeps going on will often result in a new young market kids who would want (or whose older, Star Wars fan relatives will want to gift) a recognisable vehicle. These people would likely never buy from E-Bay, BrickLink or similar so constant re-releasing of the old sets will find a market there. If Star Wars was replaced with another space theme (except maybe Star Trek) I can almost guarantee I would never have bought any of the sets.
  16. It will be going into my Winter Village - and I know right now my daughter will love the fact it has a bathroom - but I will be turfing the gingerbread parents and removing all trace of them from the house. The baby will make it into my WV, it will be for sale in the market cookie stall.
  17. From City/Town it is really just any police cars. I don't think Lego can really make enough of these. The kids just love playing with them so we have a few. From a non-City/Town perspective my favourite vehicle that I own would be the 75192 UCS Millenium Falcon; favourite that I don't own is the 7784 Tim Burton Batmobile.
  18. Series 5 for me, followed by series 16. Some great figures in 5 including Detective, Gangster, Lumberjack, Royal Guard and Zookeeper.
  19. Season 16 for me. It was actually close with Batman Series 1. While there were more Batman figures that I would want overall - there were a lot of random villains which I see as a waste of time. It was actually the figures that I didn't want that decided this for me rather than those I did want.
  20. New to minifigures so don't have many of them. Series 12 has the most that I would want out of the current round.
  21. While it is not the Winter Village set there was the Xtra bag which I haven't seen in this thread which includes (among other things) a husky, snow shoes, and fence parts which match the ones in the Christmas Town Square from a couple of years ago. I saw in on IG so not sure if the image can be posted here.
  22. I am looking for is a chisel or a piece that a minifig could use as a chisel. I haven't been able to locate a specific chisel part and was wondering if anyone knew of one or a substitute. I will be using the new Harry Potter deer piece as an ice sculpture in my Winter Village and want to have an artist with a hammer and chisel making the finishing touches on it. Never mind. I have come across a screwdriver piece (Item No: 11402a) which will substitute nicely.
  23. 10193 - MEDIEVAL MARKET VILLAGE - easy pick for me this time. Nice set to build around a Castle. It can't be all walls and knights.
  24. I've gone for King Leo's castle this time around. I like the addition of a small element attacking the castle. Which gives it more playability. Black Falcon's fortress was second followed by the Blacksmith Attack.
  25. While I do like the Wolfpack tower I am going for Vladek's attack this round. I like the idea of a good battle playset in one purchase (even with all the panels). Plus the Wolfpack tower is clearly getting through.
