  1. The Dummy cuff-links are the ultimate status symbol, will be wearing them to the raid on The LEGO House we're planing
  2. Part of City's zanier nature as of late is, of course, just due to LEGO's aesthetic changing circa 2019 and now every non-licensed theme looks like TLM2 stuff to varying degrees but I do also wonder if part of it is the fact it can't be the basic theme anymore. For the longest time City could be more basic because LEGO had a bunch of other original themes going around but now city is where all the wacky ideas that'd sustain a small 2 or 3 wave theme need to be housed so that means they gotta push the boat out more
  3. The last three are obvious inclusions we'll definitely get but I like the inspired choice of Batman and the Flash so we can recreate the iconic scene from the 2023 movie where Bruce tells Barry to suck his nuts or whatever
  4. Yeah but that's why they usually hedge their bets on broader ideas, the generic Kaiju who will probably be in the movie for 5 seconds seems like such an odd thing to try place bets on To be fair it's not an exact science but I doubt we'll see Superman sets post release, of course is the franchise generally does really and the film does enough they'll do sets for older films as they've done for like Iron-man 2 or whatever but only years and years down the road when the sale of the theme is a sure thing. Even that though isn't exact as despite it's immense success the first Jurassic World, for example, which Superman nor any capeshit this year will not get close to touching, has gotten only one set revisiting it ever, once again only after years of the theme proving it's success.
  5. Jessie Chris, why is that what they chose? Why would this be what you decide to lie about do they don't wanna make it sound mildly believable?
  6. It's kinda funny ACU troopers have technically been in the set lineup for every film in that trilogies sets when they're only in the first one. Obviously this isn't me complaining the ACUs do blend in well with the generic soldiers in all these movies but I think it's a sign that his influence is never leaving
  7. Mad it lasted that long, gotta respect it. Always love those random prints that just never die. The day the Jang head stops appearing LEGO itself is dead
  8. I don't think anyone here is really hoping either. There's a small chance the dvd comes with a LEGO Polybag like Shazam did but everyone here has said it's unlikely. It's just funny it keeps happening
  9. 700 quid buildable Mario Lopez, take it or leave it
  10. Can't the Green Lanterns imagine a brain tumor, or like a tiny pair of scissors that cut through the synapses of someones brain. Or like can they use their ring to conjure up a gas that's lethal to Viltrumites but not humans/whatever other species they have with them? I feel like if the rings power is really only limited by battery and the user's imagination depending on how creative the GLs are there's no-one they can't win against but I'm fully aware GLs never really live up to that potential in stories. Beautiful, this has pleased the Dummy. You may now take his hand as you will be in the choir when the Dummy sings with his creations. Dummy's are way cheaper here in Britain though, kinda mad that's the going rate for one across the pond, not that he's not worth the extra cost of course. Make sure to send a picture of your Dummy when he arrives.
  11. It would be admittedly hilarious if LEGO did randomly pull out Superman sets after all the aslume madness had already happened here. Won't happen though
  12. I've said this before, but given LEGO was in the partner list there's a real chance there's a polybag at some point, nothing more though is possible
  13. Clive in 2025, maybe there is some wonder left in this world
  14. I know but legally and actually it's the movie version, that's the licensing that went into it so this, along with Agent Smith in the LEGO Batman movie is an example of a mature film getting an official minifigure design even if it's not a physical one. Yeah, especially as if they got the rights to make a real military vehicle they'd need to pay for the licence for that, which is why I'm fine with the Osprey being cancelled because in any small way actively funding any military is something I think any toy company of their size would be smart to avoid
  15. No it's not actually, comic Bloodsport isn't in the game, only the movie version. Dunno why it isn't blue though both the comic and movie version of the character wear blue.
  16. For those interested, LEGO now has technically designed an official minifigure for an R rated DC property with this Bloodsport design in LEGO Fortnite
  17. Yeah, Lex is a 20-something who's already been through college when the show begins, Clark and his social circle are 15 when the show starts even though they don't look it What was he in for, Child forgery? Yeah, and the show killed off Jimmy Olson before it was cool too. In the last season they said he had a twin also called Jimmy to fix that
  18. A very wise man, as he once said "you either die a hero or live long enough to use discount code "HARVEYFENT" to get 30% off your next order of fentanyl on my online store, link in bio" Yeah, it's not even the only time it happens. The character Lex grooms, Lana Lang also had a season where she dated her highschool gym coach played by Jensen Ackles. Network TV was wild, for better and especially for worse. There's enough DC ice villains we could all probably be one of we wanted. Icicle, Mr Freeze, Captain Cold, Mr Blizzard, Killer Frost, The Snowman and Blue Snowman come to mind but I know there's more.
  19. Yeah, to be fair though the Lex thing is only in the Smallville show. But yeah there's way too many. Right? Like no-one in the game aside from like 5 characters will be on shelves. If we were stupid we'd assume the game itself meant it was likely there'd be an actual DC wave next year Sounds about right, I wonder what villain I'll turn into. My heart says Polka-Dot man but my brain knows it'll be the Ventriloquist due to my actions all being dictated by a dummy
  20. Well we have a Joker and a Mr Freeze, how long until we're all Batman villains?
  21. I hope DC is doing decent enough for LEGO to make comic sets at some point before the Matt Fraction suit is phased out because I love that design so much, can't wait to see it in action. Need brand synergy to push that one hard
  22. He's got his scruples, definitely a better person to play Smurfs Dance Party with than Joker or Bane but ngl he'd still be a terrible friend. Idk, maybe I'm biased because the last thing I read him in was Rogues (genuinely like the best black label book, it's so good, guys read it) Awe, Lex is such a swell, caring guy. I bet he was a swell guy before becoming a CEO, when he lived in Smallville. I definitely don't think he at any point dated a teenager he met when she was 15 and he was in his 20s, that'd really soil my view of him. Oh, I guess it's worth mentioning here. There's strong rumours a LEGO Batman 4 is coming out next year. I hope that happens as it'd be hilarious to see a LEGO game with like 200 DC characters which will never be in a actual LEGO set again
  23. There has not been to my knowledge. LEGO's weird with Nintendo, for all we know there won't be another Zelda set for the foreseeable future. Maybe this one will just stay on shelves for a while
  24. You know when LEGO City did big one piece helicopters that were supposed to be able to fly but didn't? Every character gets one of those
  25. Honestly it's impressive they've done the same set like 26 times in just over 5 years. This feels like it'd sit nicely next to that Kenobi set
