I would definitly be honoured if my MOC was being mass produced. Rather would have Lego doing it, but still. Anyway, got my Lepin Cafe Corner yesterday and finished it last night. My thoughts: (This is NOT to promote Lepin in any kind, but to warn people that might be getting tricked) - There is no 'LEGO' stamp on the stud circles, the're flat. - The qualtiy is amazing, it's one on one. ( I might be taking a stud to my laboratory to investigate plastic structure and possible metals and compare to real Lego) - Birds are different, as well as front door. - I was missing a brown 1x1 slope, and a light grey 1x2 brick. Also I had 2 4x12 dark grey plates io 4x10. My genuine Cafe Corner is at my sisters house, so I will compare thoroughly in the next days. But be warned, as a long time Lego builder I can say, If you didn't know it, you'd think it' s real Lego. The easiest way knowing you buy a real set, is just to look if the studs have the LEGO stamp.

It's actually a good idea. The blue/white modular is the international hotel MOC modular. Love to see the MOC candy shop as well. Is the one on AE also a MOC or is it created by Lepin itself. ( I highly doubt that)

Please do not judge people you don't know. And remind that this thread is also a warning to be cautious when you buy a loose Cafe Corner, Falcon etc. Back to topic: A new 'Lepin Lover' has arrived!? Bought my first Lepin. A Cafe Corner. It's on it's way and should arrive tomorrow. If this all goes OK and I'm happy with the quality I will buy a Millennium Falcon.

I'm a little disappointed it doesn't fit on a truck. I love the mixer for being on a truck. Also, 199 dollars wil definitly mean 220+ euros in the Netherlands. I will decide when I've seen the official pics.

Today I was at IKEA and bought a nice lamp. It looks like a death star. I think you can create a Nice Lego death star out of it by glueing little grey Lego plates onto it. I'm not a MOCer myself, but maybe someone here can try it. I think it will be great looking. Here's a link to the lamp: http://m.ikea.com/nl...s/art/40251119/ EDIT: Here are some pics of the lamp. You can open and close it.

In the Netherlands the status changed from 'expected september 11th', to sold out. Strange, because today I read they will be doing more production runs.

I thought the new summer sets would be selling at S@H by now, since they are sold in the Lego stores for a week now here in Europe. Is that normal? Selling in Lego stores and online way later?

Here in the Netherlands still no VIP release on the S@H site. Anyone?

Ordered one! It's 250 euros in the Netherlands, just like Germany, No +20 Benelux ripoffs this time. On the other hand, glad I don't live in Finland. (300E)- 158 replies

Since there is much info the last couple of months on the 2014 releases, what is your 'definitly going to buy' list for this year. And ofcourse WHY?. Here's mine. - 2x Star Wars AT-AT. My little sons love Star Wars and they both love the walkers. - Lego Movie Sea Cow ship. I love the design. Not sure if I am actually going to build it. Thinks it will stay sealed. - Lego Movie Bennies spaceship. Love it! I got a lot of Lego Space when I was young. Brings back memories. - Lego Simpsons house. Love the design and I also think this set will be the 2014 top investment of Lego sets. No need for me to build it though.

I bought mine at 3.00AM (2 hours after launch). Received a mail last night they are currently out of stock and will arrive later. Don't believe anyone in the Netherlands have had their item shipped already. Begin to wonder if they were actually IN stock in Europe. What I also find weird is that you can still order them, while I think they should be all sold by now.

Review Review: 21103 Back To The Future Time Machine
joopsta replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
What?? 50 euros here in the Netherlands? 40 euros in Germany and 26 euros (converted) in the States? Was very excited for this set, but for 50 euros it's a definite pass for me.- 207 replies

Can you see the personal number of the set while it's still sealed? I assume you only see your number when you open it.

Results from the quarterly survey time April 2013
joopsta replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
10240 in Lego Germany webshop 200 euros, in the Netherlands 230 euros. How about that. I really wanted the 10240 set, but when I saw they raised the price for us dutchmen by 30 euros compared to Germany, I decided to skip this one. And I really would like to know the reason for that big difference. -
I already see some Lego 75025 sets surfacing on ebay Germany. Anyone know the official release date? I thought it would still take a while.
-
On the dutch Lego website the UCS X wing is priced at 229.99 euro! As much as I want to have this, this is way too much. Especially when it's 200 USD in the States. 230 euros is 300 dollar!!!!!

[LDD MOCs] Brickdoctor's 2011 Star Wars Advent Calendar
joopsta replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great idea, brickdoctor!Love the radiant. I hope someone is willing to part out all the bricks, so we all can start bricklinking. I hope that great ship of general Grievous from SW3 comes along. (don't know the name). Thanks! -
Looks great Vincent! I might try your idea.
-
OK, this is the basic idea. As you can see, you can just hang it on the wall, like a painting. (Don't really know if it will hold then) It's just 4 studs 'deep'.
