  1. Hi guys, I was thinking, since I have little space and 5 modular buildings next to eachother. How about "wall modulars"? So you only build the front wall of a house/shop. I was thinking a 4X32 plate (don't even know if that exists) and then build the front on it. After it's finished, you can hang it on the wall like a painting. And hang others next to it. I'm planning to make one in LDD, but I haven't got much time and ain't really quick with the program. Maybe an experienced MOCer can make one in LDD quick? Please let me know what you think of the idea. Grtz Joopsta.
  2. I am bricklinking the CC right now. First I replaced the dark red slopes with dark brown ones. But the problem is when I changed all the dark red bricks to dark brown, some bricks don't exist in dark brown. So I changed it back again and now bought 36 dark red slopes for 0.90 euro a piece(that's a nice price I can tell you). I did change the dark blue arch into grey. The grey rounded brick under the arch I changed into dark blue. I also changed the blue greyish door into grey. That door is about 18 euro a piece! Anyway, I've done about 7 orders and now need about 100-150 bricks to get it complete.(2-3 orders) I think totally it will cost about 250-275 euros. But that's new bricks, maybe used ones will make it cheaper. Succes!
  3. Just finished mine. It's great! Only thing that bothers me is the instruction booklet. Some papers are already loose from the ring. The book is way too big and heavy for such thin pages. I think they would have done better to make 4 'normal' booklets.
  4. Just received mine today. The box is huge and heavy! My 5 year old son called me at work. "Dad, the big box has arrived!" So that's a lot of work for the two of us this week.
  5. I am bricklinking this set right now. I ordered dark brown roof bricks instead of dark red. Also I ordered a grey arch instead of dark blue. It'll be a lot cheaper that way.
  6. googled it and found a dutch webshop. Here it is.
  7. Maybe this is not the right subforum for my question, but I can't really figure out how to use bricklink. I want to buy all the parts for cafe corner (10182). I added all the parts into my wanted list, and searched for stores that has the most parts. But then, if I press auto fill max, I get more parts than I need. For example, if I need 6 1X6 plates black, it fills in more than I need. Can somebody tell me step by step how I can get all the parts from bricklink? Do I need to check every part for it's right quantity? And if I bought let's say 600 parts from one store, will those parts automaticly be deleted from my want list? Many thanks for all your help and again, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.
  8. This is a very nice set, better than I expected. It cost 160 euros in the toyshop here in the Netherlands. That's too much in my opinion. I got it for 90, second handed.
  9. I think you are missing some codecs. Just DL a codec pack. Should work fine then. Anyway, back to topic.
  10. Wait,am I missing something? Will there be more eps. Thought this was just a special. Well, great if it is. Me and my kids love it. Seen it 4 times today.
  11. Just watched it in 720p. Very funny and nicely made. I hope more eps will come. And general Grievous ship is awesome, hope it comes out soon.
  12. That's a good one! Order some loose bricks for more mini Star Destroyers around the SSD. Also please let us know how the mini is attached to the SSD. The SSD got to be surrounded by mini's like a bunch a bees!
  13. I'm in the same boat as you, Jarret. 35, two boys of 5 and 3 and a strong attraction to build SW ships. My sons are too young to help me build, but they are already real SW fans. Don't feel strange about it. I collect Transformers for over 10 years now, I have hundreds. That's basicly the same. You are never too old for toys. Toys are fun! I don't play with the Transformers, they are all in their original box. I have thought about keeping my SW Lego sealed, but what's the fun in that? Now I open them, build them and after a few days I put them back in the box. I don't have much place to stall them, so that's the best option for me. Haha, I'm still figuring out how I am going to explain the 400 euros on the Super Star Destroyer in September. Oops, there she comes....
  14. @teddy (or fellow dutch fans): For me this set is a real must have, no matter the 400 euros. But where is the best place to buy it? (I'm a n00b on UCS sets). Place a preorder in the Lego shop, or buy from a (dutch) webshop? Thanks Joopsta. (Sorry for the off topic post)
  15. Does anyone know what a 7662 MTT complete with box is worth? My guess is about 150 euros, or is that too much? Thanks
  16. Hi there, I'm Joopsta from the Netherlands. I have a large collection of G1 MIB Transformers. But the last month I've been infected with the Lego Star Wars virus. So far I've bought 7929 Battle of Naboo, 8019 Republic Attack Shuttle and the Lego visual dictionary book. This week I'm about to buy a new Republic Frigate, but I also saw a nice 7662 MTT complete with box. So I'm still dubbing. Anyway, nice to have found this forum, so I can learn of my new addiction. Joopsta.
