It's awesome to hear about other people's experience doing this! I BrickLink'd my UCS Millennium Falcon too, and have to say it was the most fun I've had putting together a set. The whole process was just so addicting and FUN!

I picked up 9495 at Toys R Us today for $42. Even though it wasn't much under MSRP, I figured it was as good a deal as it's ever going to get with the TRU tax.

This set looks great, and the price-per-piece ratio makes it even sweeter. I still probably won't buy it until it's discounted, but it'll definitely find its way into my collection.

I agree, TC-14 would be awesome. Even if it came in the matte silver color instead of chrome, I'd be more than happy.

StarWarsShop.com has actually been closed since last July. For all we know, Lego could simply be testing the waters with Sideshow in the hopes of creating unique products down the road. It seems like a pretty random thing for TLG to do unless there's something else in the pipeline. Just speculation, though. That's the main draw to me. Sideshow's payment plan would definitely make buying every UCS set more doable.

I ran across something interesting in my Facebook news feed earlier tonight: LEGO® Sets are coming to SideshowCollectibles.com! Since I actually collected quite a bit of Sideshow's Star Wars items before returning to Lego, I found this news to be quite interesting. The payment plan option will certainly make it nice when purchasing UCS sets. Maybe we can even look forward to some exclusive sets? Any thoughts on this interesting development?

The piece count for "Palpatine's Arrest" sounds promising! I hope we get a good chunk of his office, and maybe even the speeder that Anakin arrives in.

Um....yeah. I would think that's pretty obvious, given my point about being able to correct the yellowing.

I usually focus on actual "minifig-included" models (which now include most UCS models! Yay!), but I might have to break the mold with this. It makes for a pretty fun display piece if you ask me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't it been discussed before that there is actually a very good way to remove the yellowing effects on white bricks? Something to do with Oxy Clean I believe... Personally, I would go for the Shuttle just because it's been out longer and will probably be discontinued before 10221. You can also get some good discounts via Amazon if you keep your eye on it.

I went a bit crazy after I bought my Death Star last summer and amassed an army of about 80 Stormtroopers. That's way more than necessary to fill out the Death Star, but it does look much better to have several squads of troopers on there (rather than just two!). I love the idea of having other licensed characters sitting around the conference table!! I think I have a new display idea now.

Wow! Awesome representation of my favorite planet in the SW galaxy. I'm sure it's even more impressive in person.

I like it! I figured they would go with Yoda for the 2013 AOTC-themed packaging. Like others have mentioned, the best part about this is the prospect of finally getting new Episode II sets! I really hope we see a Coruscant nightclub or Dexter's Diner set.

Am I missing something? The OT does mention the separate titles of "Knight" and "Master". Nothing was retconned by adding the term Padawan into the mix. Back on topic, I'm looking forward to seeing pictures from Toy Fair this coming weekend! We should finally see some good shots of finished products.

Neat idea, but there's already a couple of incredible SW Chess set MOCs out there: SW Chess sets. If TLG were to ever make those I'd seriously consider purchasing, even though I'm not a chess player.

In my opinion, it's not a character that's worth building a huge army of. Like Brickadeer said, they only appeared in a couple episodes in the first season and are more of a periphery trooper. They are cool looking though.

Wow, I had no idea those had become so expensive! I'm extremely glad I started my build of 10179 back when I did. It looks like it was just in the nick of time.
